An enhanced MSC Yacht Club will be among the new features on board the highly anticipated  MSC World Europa  when the ship debuts later this year as the first of MSC Cruises’ trailblazing ‘World Class’ ships. The all-new World Class platform boasts future-proof marine and onboard hospitality technologies as well as a ground-breaking and ultramodern design.

The MSC Yacht Club’s innovative “ship within a ship” concept was first introduced in 2008, offering an all-inclusive cruise experience that set a new standard for premium cruising. It offers guests privacy and exclusivity, while still allowing them to enjoy all the facilities a larger ship can offer. MSC Cruises seeks to enrich and enhance that experience with every new ship, meaning MSC Yacht Club guests on  MSC World Europa  will find unparalleled levels of comfort, along with more public space, expanded outdoor areas, stylish new suites and a futuristic design.

Highlights of the MSC Yacht Club on  MSC World Europa  include:

A totally reimagined sundeck   –  Guests will have plenty of space spread across two decks to enjoy spectacular sea views from the front of the ship. The lower deck allows them to unwind and sip a glass of champagne from the bar or enjoy a bite to eat from the grill, while the upper deck is home to a private pool and whirlpool where guests can take in the sun from comfortable loungers or one of the stylish private cabanas.

Two brand-new ultra-spacious Owner-Suites – Exclusiveto World Class ships , these luxurious multi-room suites total more than 1,600 square feet between indoor areas and the private balcony. The plush accommodations consist of a double bedroom with walk-in wardrobe, a bathroom complete with full-sized imperial bathtub, and a separate living-dining area bathed in light from floor-to-ceiling windows. For the ultimate VIP experience, guests step onto their own spacious balcony with al fresco dining area and whirlpool.

Double-balcony Duplex Suites  – Spanning two decks, the Duplex Suites offer a whole floor dedicated to luxurious relaxation with a dining area, lounge and guest bathroom. Heading upstairs, the main bedroom has its own bathroom complete with bathtub. These special duplex suites offer two private sundecks. The lower deck offers a private whirlpool bath, seating, and lounge area, while the upper deck provides sunbathing with comfortable loungers.

Dedicated massage rooms – Guests staying in the MSC Yacht Club will have access to exclusive massage rooms in the cutting-edge MSC Aurea Spa , as well as unlimited use of the thermal area to pamper the days away.

The MSC Yacht Club experience

Key-card access grants those staying in the MSC Yacht Club exclusive access to the private lounge, which serves unlimited complimentary drinks and gourmet canapés. Guests also enjoy access to the private fine-dining restaurant, which is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and features an à la carte menu with chef’s specials and a wide choice of gourmet dishes complemented by an extensive wine list.

Fully personalized service comes as standard, with access to a 24-hour butler who will quickly get to know each guest’s personal preferences with warm, friendly and unobtrusive service. A dedicated concierge is also on-hand to facilitate any request from dinner and spa reservations to a daily newspaper delivery. No request is too big or too small.

Completing the exclusive feeling is a private sundeck with pool, comfortable sun loungers, shady cabanas and whirlpool. The nearby bar and grill offer a well-deserved cocktail, a glass of bubbly or a light bite.

MSC Yacht Club on MSC Seascape

MSC Cruises will also be launching MSC Seascape in December this year with a 32,000-square-foot MSC Yacht Club set across four decks. Features include:

• A glamourous entrance featuring a three-deck back-lit Onyx wall and signature Swarovski staircases.
• The private pool area and sun deck spanning more than 21,000 square feet, offering a private pool and panoramic whirlpool with eight seats and individual jets, plus a standard whirlpool.
• 131 suites (five different types), including the traditional interior, deluxe and royal suites as well as 41 deluxe grand suites with extra space and a walk-in closet. The two Owner’s Suites offer more than 1,000 square feet of space each, along with extended private balconies with whirlpools and outdoor living areas.
• From December 2022, MSC Seascape will call at Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve in The Bahamas, where MSC Yacht Club guests will benefit from privileges ashore including a private beach and the Ocean House, which serves all-inclusive drinks and food.

MSC World Europa will feature the largest and most luxurious Yacht Club to date with futuristic design and enhanced public spaces. MSC Cruises’ new flagship will offer brand-new ultra-spacious Owner Suites and 1,700m² of private outdoor space with an extensive two-storey sun deck.

This year MSC Cruises is introducing the highly anticipated  MSC World Europa  to its fleet. The first in the trailblazing World Class ships will introduce a completely new cruising platform that boasts future-proof marine and onboard hospitality technologies as well as ground-breaking and ultramodern design. One of the highlights of the ship will be an enhanced MSC Yacht Club. The innovative ship within a ship concept is an all-inclusive cruise experience that set a new standard of premium cruising when it was introduced in 2008 by offering guests privacy and exclusivity as well as being able to enjoy all the facilities a larger ship can offer.

• 131 suites (five different types), including the traditional interior, deluxe and royal suites as well as 41 deluxe grand suites, with extra space and a walk-in closet, plus two Owner’s Suites with 98 sqm of space, extended private balcony with whirlpool and outdoor living area
• From December 2022, MSC Seascape will call at Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve in The Bahamas and MSC Yacht Club guests will also benefit from privileges ashore including a private beach and Ocean House, serving all-inclusive drinks and food.

MSC World Europa was the first Liquified Natural Gas fueled ship in the MSC Cruises fleet and features a new generation wastewater treatment system, as well other technology to reduce the ship’s impact on the environment. MSC World Europa is as different on the inside as she is on the outside. All-new cabin designs are available, and the ship offers more balcony cabins than any other cruise ship in our fleet. In total, the ship has 19 different cabin categories, with 7 brand new designs. From the luxury of the Grand Suite Aurea with an included terrace, to the scenic Infinite Ocean view, to our Deluxe Balcony with promenade view, there’s accommodation for every taste – for couples, families, and all other guests.

The ship will feature 13 dining venues , including an incredible six specialty restaurants , between which the Chef’s Garden Kitchen of  Michelin-starred chef  Chef Niklas Ekstedt , that offers a menu which focuses on the natural ingredients and a farm-to-ocean ethos. Guests also have the opportunity to discover three ample restaurant-buffets on board, each offering their distinct ambiance, including a brand-new location open 24/7.

Chef’s Garden Kitchen

The Chef’s Garden Kitchen’s promises fresh and seasonal flavours, taking its cues from nature. Born in Sweden, the son of a produce seller, Niklas Ekstedt began his strong connection with nature and the Earth’s flavours at a young age. Modernising cuisine with art not technology, Ekstedt combines traditional Nordic cooking and preserving techniques with astonishingly creative combinations of rigorously fresh seasonal ingredients.

The Masters of the Sea pub has long been a favourite spot to grab a quick bite and to delight in the extensive beer list, but this will be the first time that it features an onboard brewery. Award-winning brewmaster Teo Musso , who created the Baladin Farm Brewery, has worked with MSC Cruises to create a bespoke range of MSC signature craft beers that will be brewed at sea in the ship’s full-scale micro-brewery.

MSC Cruises Details The Yacht Club on Its First World-Class Ship

MSC Cruises has announced new details on the expansive MSC Yacht Club that will be available on its first World-class ship, MSC World Europa.

Yacht Club Highlights

A reimagined sundeck.

Yacht Club guests will have two sundecks to spread out on, enjoying sea views from the front of the ship. The lower deck will include a bar and grill, and the upper will be home to a private pool and whirlpool, loungers, and cabanas.

Two Owner Suites

Exclusive to World-class ships, these multi-room suites total more than 1,600 square feet between indoor areas and the balcony. The accommodations consist of a double bedroom with walk-in wardrobe, a bathroom with an imperial bathtub, and a separate living-dining area alongside floor-to-ceiling windows. The balcony includes a dining area and whirlpool.

Double-Balcony Duplex Suites

Spanning two decks, the Duplex Suites offer a floor with a dining area, lounge, and guest bathroom. The second floor includes a bedroom and bathroom complete with a bathtub.

These duplex suites include two private sundecks. The lower includes a whirlpool, seating, and lounge area, while the second provides loungers.

Dedicated Massage Rooms

Guests staying in the MSC Yacht Club will have access to exclusive massage rooms in the MSC Aurea Spa, as well as unlimited use of the thermal area.

The MSC Yacht Club is keycard access only. Privileges include:

• Dedicated priority check-in and check-out
• 24-hour butler service and a dedicated concierge
• Unlimited drinks throughout the ship

• The Browse internet package with unlimited data for two devices
• Complimentary access to the thermal suite in the spa

The MSC Yacht Club concept was first introduced in 2008. It is available on all Fantasia, Meraviglia, Seaside, and World-class ships.

Of all MSC World Europa staterooms (2633 total), around 65% are outside. Most passenger cabins have a double bed (convertible to 2x single beds) plus a convertible couch (double sofabed) to accommodate 3rd/4th person. The number of all cabin categories is 19, including 7 new for MSC types of cabins. Guaranteed cabin categories include YCW-Yacht Club Suite, BW-Balcony, OW-Oceanview, IW-Inside.

• Double beds are not available in categories Interior Studio and Outside Studio.
• Bunk beds are not suitable for kids under 16 yo.
• 3rd and 4th beds are not available in categories Interior Studio, Interior Bella, Oceanview Studio, Promenade View Balcony, MSC Yacht Club Interior Suite.

ZOE is MSC's (and cruise industry's first) new in-cabin digital assistant. The technology was developed by Harman International (US-based company, a fully-owned subsidiary of Samsung Electronics).

• ZOE is an artificial intelligence device (voice-enabled, with advanced voice recognition software) available in all passenger staterooms.
• ZOE speaks 7 languages, answer cruise-related questions, provides info on shipboard services-activities-facilities, makes reservations and bookings.
• The digital device features far-field microphones, top-quality speaker, quad-core processor (for fast response times), direct phone connection (through Bluetooth). The system can also upgrade its own database to answer previously unanswerable questions.
• Passenger data (including itinerary/tour and shipboard preferences) is stored in the Cloud Storage system and used on the next scheduled voyage.
• The device (sized ~15 cm) can be activated whenever passengers choose. A waiver must be signed to agree for their personal data to be stored.

Starting with Bellissima (2019), ZOE is available on all newbuild MSC liners and to be introduced fleetwide by the year 2024.

MSC Cruises has announced that they will bring their beloved MSC Yacht Club experience to cruisers in North America in 2025. Their new megaship, MSC World America, will have seven distinct districts so guests can easily customize their vacation and prioritize what they most want to experience on board the ship. MSC Yacht Club will be one of those districts.

The World Of A Reimagined MSC Yacht Club

Imagine a luxury cruise operating within a normal cruise. That’s sort of what it’s like to stay in the Yacht Club section of MSC cruise ships. This “ship-within-a-ship” concept offers a secluded retreat area with exclusive, quiet spaces, its own restaurant, luxury suites, and more.

On the MSC World America, the Yacht Club will have special accommodations for those who can indulge in total luxury. They offer double-balcony duplex suites that are great for large groups of friends or families who travel together. These suites span two decks. The lower deck has a dining and living area with a guest bathroom. The upper level has a primary bedroom with its own private bathroom. Two private sundecks with a private hot tub, outdoor seating area, and upper deck are also included.

For solo guests, couples, or smaller groups, multiple-room owner suites allow guests to stay in an elegantly decorated suite with separate living and dining areas, a bedroom, walk-in closet, posh bathroom with a full-sized bathtub, and floor-to-ceiling windows. These suites also have their own private terrace with a hot tub and outdoor dining area.

Dining is elevated in this part of the ship, too. The Top Sail Lounge offers Yacht Club guests panoramic views to enjoy while being served drinks, desserts, and canapés. The MSC Yacht Club Restaurant has a calming ambiance, large menu, and fine wines.

The ship itself will span 22 decks, and it will have a total of 2,614 staterooms. It has a World Promenade where all cruisers are welcome to enjoy dining, entertainment, vivid light shows, and breathtaking views. Entertainment, dining, and shopping can be enjoyed at the indoor World Galleria.

Dining And Drinking On MSC World America

This megaship has 13 restaurants that are open to all cruisers. Vegan options should be available at all restaurants. However, be sure to tell the restaurant staff in advance about any dietary needs or requests. Some vegan options that have been available on another MSC cruise ships include such diverse dishes as vegan burgers, couscous, tofu ragout, rice noodle dishes, black bean vegetable burritos, pasta primavera, roasted cauliflower steak, tofu vegetable teriyaki, and more.

There are also 20 bars and lounges aboard the MSC World America. There will be a sports bar, a comedy club, a British pub, a gin specialty pub, a mixology bar, and a coffee emporium, among others.

Adventurous kids and adults alike can go down the ships 11-deck-high dry slide and enjoy the large water park with water slides that incorporate a VR experience. There will also be six pools and 14 hot tubs.

MSC World America’s Energy Efficiency

Despite is large size, MSC World America was designed to be among the most energy-efficient cruise ships in operation. Their latest-generation engines will reduce greenhouse gases emissions (GHG) by up to 20 percent. MSC Cruises is committed to net zero GHG emissions by 2050, so this ship was designed as part of their overall plan for more sustainable cruising experiences.

MSC World America will have its first sailing in April 2025. Eastern Caribbean and Western Caribbean itineraries are planned for the ship in its first year.

MSC Cruises Announces Record US Presence for 2025-26 Winter Season

MSC Cruises has just announced an expanded lineup of itineraries for its Winter 2025/2026 season, featuring seven ships departing from four major U.S. homeports: Miami , Port Canaveral, New York City , and Galveston. This ambitious schedule, now open for bookings, aims to provide guests with a wider array of vacation options than ever before.

Port Canaveral Additions

Among the season’s highlights will be MSC Grandiosa making her U.S. debut at Port Canaveral, marking the first time one of the line’s Meraviglia-Plus Class ships will operate from a U.S. port. From there, she will sail a selection of seven-night voyages, alternating between Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries.

By taking up residence in the Florida port, MSC Grandiosa will be joining the Seaside EVO-class MSC Seashore, which will offer an expanded assortment of three- and four-night cruises to Nassau and the line’s private Bahamian island, Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve . 

A Galveston First

Winter 2025/2026 will also see MSC Cruises’ inaugural sailings from the Port of Galveston, where the family-friendly, Seaside EVO-class MSC Seascape will make its home for the season.

This vessel blends sophistication with a lively atmosphere by combining features like 11 onboard dining concepts, 19 bars, an aft infinity pool, a cutting-edge kids and teens club, and the luxury “ship-within-a-ship” MSC Yacht Club experience.

Set to launch in April 2025, MSC World America is poised to transform the cruising experience for passengers departing from PortMiami. The World Class ship will be comprised of seven distinct districts, tailored to suit guests’ various interests and preferences.

The vessel also features the all-new, innovative Cliffhanger—the first swing ride at sea that’s suspended out over the water. For the Winter 2025/2026 season, travelers can embark on alternating seven-night cruises to either the Eastern or Western Caribbean aboard this state-of-the-art vessel.

Private Island Enhancements

Many itineraries will feature stops at the incomparable private island destination of Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve in The Bahamas, which is presently undergoing a significant renovation. Guests sailing in Winter 202/2026 will get to enjoy the expanded and enhanced Reserve, which will include new excursion centers, a snorkel and dive center, additional dining options, and an expanded Ocean House bar and restaurant for MSC Yacht Club guests.
