The sale of my HR 31 "Mullbar" was handled in a most professional way by the Ancasta team at Darthaven. They set things up quickly, got the price correct and completed things in less than 6 weeks. All walked away with smiles on their faces. Well done.

I have been dealing with Lewis at Ancasta Dartmouth on purchasing a used boat. Lewis's service has been exceptional (along with Nick Bishop) from my initial enquiry through to the sea trial, sale completion and aftersales.Lewis has been accommodating and has gone above and beyond in making the sales and aftersales process a pleasant and enjoyable experience. I decided this spring/summer that I would sell my Bavaria 38 sailing yacht. Ancasta has a good name so I went into their Kingsweir/Dartmouth office to discuss it. There I met Nick Bishop and Lewis Horne, the resident team. I never looked back. I live in Wales so the sale was at arms length, through the agents with an absent owner. Their help and advice was invaluable and geared to cover all problems. I have nothing but admiration for the service provided and would wholeheartedly recommend them.

I wish to place on record my thanks to Nick and Lewis for the way they handled the sale of our much loved yacht. From the start of the process their professionalism was clear. Nick spent time to ensure the yacht was presented in the best possible way for the photos and video walkthrough and the resulting advert was excellent. By way of background, my business interests include controlling stakes in 3 publicly traded companies which operate vessels in the 500 to 5000dwt range. On average, one new vessel a year would be added to the fleet. As a result, I have access to in-house marine architects, engineers and construction supervisors. Consequently, when I decided to build my first large motor yacht, I did not feel I needed the services of a company like Moran Yacht & Ship. In any event, I was persuaded to let them negotiate on my behalf while I simultaneously held discussions with other building options.
