DESIGN The lightness of the Pershing 7X takes forms and textures of the carbon fiber widely used in its construction. With its typical sleek, sporty lines, the boat's exterior design brings major aesthetic innovations to the Pershing style, starting with the brand-new color of the hull and superstructure. The attractive shapes are carried over into the interiors, designed to ensure the optimal use of all spaces and give the entire yacht maximum lightness.
PERFORMANCE The pioneering construction solutions allow the Pershing 7X yacht to reach the incredible speed of 50 knots. The boat comes with a 1,800 MHP twin MAN V12 engine. The innovative Dynamic Positioning System lets Pershing 7X maintain its position even when winds or currents are strong.
COMFORT Spatial ergonomics are maximized thanks to the blending of technology and performance in perfect proportions. The open spaces allow the boat to be filled with pleasure and light, such as the large lounge characterized by the front openable windows and the dark glass sliding roof. The new, much larger rectangular portholes allow air and natural light to permeate the rooms below decks.

Meet the Pershing 7X

The Pershing Yachts 7X has launched, rounding out the builder’s X series, which also includes the 5X , 8X and 9X .
Designed by Fulvio De Simoni and the Piero Ferrari-led Ferretti Group, Pershing says its Generation X yachts are focused on design, technology, performance and the use of ultra-lightweight materials. The 70-foot 7X is constructed primarily of carbon fiber.
When it comes to design, the yacht’s 17-foot, 6-inch beam helps create real estate for three staterooms belowdecks: a full-beam master stateroom, a starboard-side guest stateroom with twins and a forepeak VIP stateroom, each with en suite heads. The twin-berth stateroom can be replaced by L-shaped seating. Crew quarters are aft of the master and forward of the engine room. Average headroom belowdecks is around 6 feet, 6 inches.
The two-seat, Poltrona Frau leather helm seats are on the main deck to starboard with an L-shaped settee abaft and to port. The settee surrounds a high-low table that also extends to accommodate eight guests for dinner. Flanking the helm are electrically-operated. Forward is the structure-free windshield offering unobstructed views. There is a garage aft on the main deck that’s capable of fitting an 11-foot, 3-inch tender.
The helm on Hull No. 1 has two 19-inch multifunction displays in a dashboard with carbon-fiber control panels. Joysticks and levers flank the captain’s seat.
At a cruising speed of 42 knots, Pershing says the 7X can travel for 300 nautical miles. Top speed? The Italian manufacturer claims 50 knots. Twin 1,800 hp MAN V12 diesels are matched to Top System P85X surface drives.
The 7X is also equipped with two Seakeeper NG6 gyroscopic stabilizers.

Designed by Fulvio De Simoni, her exterior showcases streamlined contours complemented by a distinctively new hull and superstructure colour. Spanning 21.11 metres in length, with a beam of 5.35 metres and a draft of 1.52 metres, the Pershing 7X is a testament to effective space utilisation and design from Pershing. The extensive use of carbon fibre in her construction contributes to her lightweight design without compromising strength. Her main and lower decks are spacious, which is notably remarkable for a yacht within her class. A forward-opening window in the lounge and large rectangle portholes infuse the galley and the three staterooms with ample natural light. Able to accommodate up to six overnight guests, she features crew quarters for two. Powered by twin 1800 MHP MAN V12 engines, she has an impressive top speed of 50 knots.

The 7X's powertrain consists of twin 1,800 hp MAN V-12 diesels whisking Top System T85 surface drives. On board, there's something of a runaway-train feeling, with the nearly 70-foot yacht seeming as if it just doesn't want to stop accelerating. The ride is exhilarating. The 7X is fast, even for a Pershing. Advertisement.
The result is a yacht which is claimed to be a full 4 tons lighter than the model it replaces. With twin 1,800-hp MAN V12s standard instead of the 1,623-hp MTUs fitted to the 70, that's going to make quite a difference. Pershing reckons that its new 7X is a genuine 50-knot yacht—a breathtaking performance for a luxury vessel of this size.
