What do we do on our excursion?

Our excursion to Sa Dragonera Island is an unforgettable experience that takes us to discover the charms of the southeast coast of Mallorca, arriving at the famous island of Dragonera , a protected natural space once used as a refuge for notorious pirates such as Dragut and Barbarossa, who used this as a base for their attacks on Mallorca’s coasts. This boat excursion includes much more!

First we will sail close to the coast of Mallorca so everyone can admire the beauty of this part of the island, especially the kids who love to see the cliffs, the birds, the blue water... Our first stop will be a swimming stop in a beautiful spot. We will sail the seas passing through Camp de Mar, Cala Fornells, Cala Llamp, Puerto de Andratx and San Telmo.

And then comes the highlight of the excursion: the boat tour around the Isla de la Dragonera . We will pass around the Pantaleu, Mitjana and Isla Dragonera islets, so that you can see them from the sea. After this, we will stop at the island and we will disembark for 1 hour. (You will have to pay 1,00 Euro tax per person). During the free time in the island you can explore the landscape of this beautiful island.

As an end to this gorgeous activity, on the way back to the departure point we also make a stop at a paradisiacal cove where you can bathe or snorkel, normally at Cala Blanca, but that could change depending on the weather. On board we have disinfected masks that you can use by leaving a deposit of 10 euros.

The duration of the excursion to Dragonera Island is 3 hours, with departures from different ports:

Detailed description

Boat trip to the dragon island of mallorca in the southwest of the island.

A boat trip in the southwest of Mallorca for families with children and holidaymakers who want to take a relaxing boat trip from Paguera or Santa Ponsa. Our modern and comfortable boat sets course for the coast of the island of Dragonera, which looks like a sleeping dragon from the shore. Dragonera is located on the southwest coast of the island and is surrounded by a nature reserve: the Dragonera Nature Park. To this day, the island is undeveloped and uninhabited, apart from the pirates who once took refuge here. The 3-hour Dragonera boat trip takes us around the island, allowing us to admire the diverse rocky landscape.

There is very little sea between Dragonera and Majorca, so you can see the villages from the boat, such as Sant Elm and the beautiful Tramuntana landscape. When the time comes, our skipper will slow down and look for an anchorage to stop for a swim. On board, guests can hire snorkelling equipment and jump straight off the boat into the Mediterranean. The sea in our little bay is crystal clear and invites you to explore the underwater world. After a good three hours we return to the starting point of the Dragonera Boat Tour.
