Premiering on November 2 on Bravo, Captain Lee Rosbach and his crew are heading back to the Caribbean for Below Deck Season 8 on board the 56m (185')  motor yacht 'My Seanna'

Promising more thrills and spills on the high seas, the hit Bravo reality TV series returns in the Fall in the Caribbean for its eighth season. This is the first time the show has been filmed in these tropical cruising grounds since season 5.

Viewers will be introduced to a number of new faces and getting insight into the world of luxury yacht charter .  In light of the developing Coronavirus crisis, filming for the new season was wrapped up in early March to keep the cast and crew safe.

The first episode of Below Deck Season 8 will air at 9/8c on Bravo on Monday 2 November, with Captain Lee Rosbach eager to get back to one of his favorite cruising spots, saying: "It's been years since I've been in the Caribbean, and I've missed the hell out of it. White sandy beaches, crystal blue water. It's like putting on your favorite pair of blue jeans. It's like going home again."

New deckhand James Hough is described as a “big flirt” who tries to do the “bare minimum of work”, whilst Shane Coopersmith, the other new deckhand, is a “a California surfer turned environmentalist”.

Long term viewers of the show will recognise a familiar face, Eddie Lucas, who appeared as part of the deck team in Seasons 1 to 3 and will now return to serve as bosun.

Here Are All the Cast Members of Below Deck Season 8

of Here Are All the Cast Members of Below Deck Season 8

‘Below Deck’ is the highest-rated Bravo TV series that has been a hit among the audiences since its premiere on July 1, 2013. The nautical-themed show exhibits the lives of the crew members working and living aboard a mega yacht, “My Seanna” for season 8. Fans have been raving for the details of the veterans and the new crew members who have geared up to sail around the Caribbean under the superintendence of Stud of the Sea, Captain Lee. Here is the list of Below Deck Season 8 cast members.

1. Captain Lee Rosbach

below deck sailing yacht season 8

Having spent more than twenty years in the yachting industry, Captain Harold Lee Rosbach has garnered immense respect for his no-nonsense attitude. Despite managing eateries in Turks and Caicos for the first few years of his career, Lee earned his Captain’s license at the age of 35. There was no going back to his restaurants for the Michigan native after being introduced to the world of the sea by an acquaintance.

Capt. Lee has been leading the ‘Below Deck’ crew since its first season and has dealt with several tricky situations. Once, he was put in a tough spot when a passenger decides to go skinny-dipping in the ocean against the safety norms of the yacht. The diligent commander adeptly handled the situation, though he lost his cool at the end. Caption Lee’s return to the cast of ‘Below Deck’ with his old bud Eddie was as anticipated as welcome.

2. Eddie Lucas

below deck sailing yacht season 8

The ‘Below Deck’ fans who have been binge-watching the show since its first season might recognize a familiar face, and that is Eddie Lucas from the first three seasons. The fan-favorite bosun had to make a hurried exit because of getting stuck in a controversy with his lover, Raquel “Rocky” Dakota onboard. In his time away from the show, Eddie only got a chance to think about his misdeeds in retrospect but also hone his skills as a yacht member.

He has successfully obtained a 1600-ton license and experience in working on tugboats in Baltimore, Maryland. One of the original cast members, he brings to the show a highly-valued degree in adventure education from Green Mountain College. Formerly seen as the voice of reason, the upcoming edition 8 would tell the viewers if much has changed about his calm demeanor in the last five years?

3. Rachel Hargrove

below deck sailing yacht season 8

For any traveler, one of the most essential parts of his travels is the exquisite food that he relishes throughout his trip, and Chef Rachel Hargrove is in charge of just that! She hails from Tampa, Florida, and did not receive much formal training for her vocation except for attending the Culinary Institute of America. The talented gourmet artist added to her self-taught education by working as an apprentice at the Michelin-starred restaurant Quatro Passi in Nerano, Italy.

Her passion for honing her culinary skills has taken her to several countries like Thailand, Japan, India, and Italy. The globetrotter has excelled at creating multi cuisines-from molecular gastronomy to gluten-free pasta. With 14 years of experience and a confident air to herself, Rachel is sure to impress her guests on the yacht.

4. Elizabeth Frankini

below deck sailing yacht season 8

Elizabeth Frankini is a Long Island native and a mermaid at heart. Her now ex-boyfriend wished to take her around the world and in the process, introduced her to the world of blue waters and sandy beaches. To fulfill her fascination with foreign cultures, Elizabeth began freelancing in the yachting business. This was four years ago, and the reality TV star now finds herself completely immersed in the trade.

A big believer in auras and their energies, she carries her healing crystals everywhere to ward off the negativity around her. The “My Seanna” is sure to create chaos in her life, but the strong-minded second stew seems ready to face it all!

5. Isabelle “Izzy” Wouters

below deck sailing yacht season 8

Much like her fellow crew member Elizabeth Frankini, Isabelle Wouters’ entry into the yachting industry happened as a complete stroke of luck. It took the Aussie a trip to Europe four years ago to completely fall in love with traveling and oceans. Her hunger for perfecting the hospitality skills led her to become a certified yacht master.

Aspiring to become a deckhand, the brunette knows her way around the interior and exterior of a boat. As the third stewardess on the “My Seanna,” Isabelle’s life seems wrapped up by her job. The viewers see her performing all the responsibilities proficiently and form friendships on board that she wishes to keep till the end of time.

6. James Hough

below deck sailing yacht season 8

Already winning hearts with his soul-touching smile, James Hough was born and brought up in northern England. His well-sculpted body and charisma make him look nothing less than a model. After receiving private school education, he tried his best to progress academically but gave up within just two weeks. At an early age, James fully realized his passion for experiencing life beyond his home country.

To pursue his life dream, James fled to Antibes, where he first tried his hand at yachting. Self-admittedly, he was on the verge of being fired from his first job due to his uncontrollable urge to flagrantly chase several stewardesses at the same time. But the hard-working Casanova does not let this hamper his job as a deckhand. Undoubtedly, his flirtatious tendencies are sure to shake things up on the mega yacht.

7. Shane Coopersmith

below deck sailing yacht season 8

Born in San Diego, Shane Coopersmith is no stranger to water and its life-altering potential. He began to swim before learning to walk, such is his affinity to the ocean! But his surfing capabilities do not establish that Shane is a good fit in the mega yacht’s crew. He has worked at the California Yacht Club in Marina Del Rey, and the experience ascended his love for the prestigious industry. Nonetheless, his honest approach and natural charm are sure to fetch him success in the world of yachting.

With a staunch belief in environmental sustainability and a degree holder in the same, Shane wishes to effectively change someone’s opinion about the irreversible impact of their actions on the planet. It would be quite interesting to see “Sustainable Shane” play out his cards on board ‘Below Deck’ as a deckhand and a responsible eco-activist.

8. Francesca Rubi

below deck sailing yacht season 8

Francesca Rubi is the “perfectionist” replacing the former chief stewardess, Kate Chastain. The Sydney-born grew up with a dream to tour around every exotic city in the world. Having formerly worked as a purser, deckhand, and stewardess for half a decade, Francesca is adept at using ropes. Before becoming a part of the hit Bravo TV series, she had already had a taste of the media industry.

The talented filmmaker hosted the Adrift Film Festival in October 2019. As she is gearing up to be the right-hand woman to Captain Lee Rosbach, Francesca already comes in with experience as an event manager and has even served celebrity clients.

Daisy Kelliher hits back at claims Below Deck Sailing Yacht is scripted

Below Deck Sailing Yacht star Daisy Kelliher has hit back at claims the show is scripted

Daisy Kelliher has set the record straight regarding what happens behind the scenes on Below Deck Sailing Yacht.

The chief stew has been pivotal in the hit sailing show since Season 2 revamped the Captain Glenn Shephard-led series.

Over the past three seasons, Daisy helped make Below Deck Sailing Yacht a mega-hit, along with Captain Glenn, Gary King, and Colin MacRae.

This week, Daisy slammed claims the sailing show is scripted.

The accusations plague the entire Below Deck franchise, and this time, Daisy’s shedding more light on how things work behind the scenes.

Daisy has shut down any claims that the show is directed, scripted, or manufactured.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht star Daisy Kelliher hits back at claims show is scripted

Daisy spoke with Express UK to dish on all things Below Deck Sailing Yacht as fans anxiously await news for Season 5. During that interview, she shut down claims of a scripted reality TV show.

“The most important thing is, you know, people always think it’s scripted. They think it’s directed… It’s not. It certainly isn’t,” the Ireland beauty insisted.

Daisy explained the show’s dynamic doesn’t need any assistance. The situation creates drama and chaos all on its own.

“They’ve created is quite amazing. And, you know, it doesn’t need a script, it doesn’t need direction. Because of that, it shows what we do when we’re in a high-pressure environment: we just are just thinking about that one thing,” the chief stew shared.

She also revealed that every single cast member, including her, questions if they can handle the job with cameras following them all the time. They question being on TV and simply navigating around the cameras.

Overall, the uncertainty helps the show stay authentic, and Daisy doubles down on her non-scripted claim.

“It’s very real; it’s very organic,” Daisy dished to the outlet.

Daisy Kelliher keeps busy amid Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 5 delay

While Season 5 of Below Deck Sailing Yacht seems to have been pushed back, Daisy has kept very busy.

In addition to an upcoming appearance with Below Deck star Fraser Olender at the Sausalito Boat Show, Daisy will be at the Southampton International Boat Show this weekend.

Captain Glenn will also be at the boat show so Daisy will have a mini reunion with her friend.

Daisy has also turned her love of travel into a career, starting Destinations with Daisy, where she teaches others to make money by traveling.

Appearances, a new business, and family time with her sister Bonnie Kelliher — recovering from a near-death scooter accident — have kept Daisy occupied until it’s time for more Below Deck Sailing Yacht.

In the meantime, Daisy keeps talking about the show including clapping back at a troll over her former relationship with Colin that happened over two years ago.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht airs Mondays at 9/8c on Bravo. Seasons 1-4 are streaming on Peacock.

Captain Glenn Shephard on Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 4

Below Deck Sailing Yacht star Captain Glenn Shephard has given fans a bit of hope as Season 5 continues to be pushed back.

Like the rest of us, Captain Glenn is ready to have the hit sailing show back on the small screen.

Season 5 was confirmed at BravoCon last November, even after the sexual misconduct claims against Gary came out.

However, the show didn’t air in its usual spring/summer slot, and now fans are worried.

Captain Glenn recently spoke out with a message about the hit Bravo show.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht star Captain Glenn Shephard weighs in on Season 5

This week, the Bravo personality opened up to The Standard to discuss Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 5.

“They announced it at BravoCon in November. But then it didn’t air in Spring or Summer. I think it’s coming soon, but I don’t know exactly when. The network decides that,” he shared.

Captain Glenn added, “I get endless questions on social media about it, but all I can say is, ‘It’s coming soon.’ We just have to be patient.”

While we love us some Captain Glenn, there’s another reason we are losing hope for the hit sailing show returning soon. As Monsters and Critics previously reported, Bravo initially included Below Deck Sailing Yacht in the fall promo.

However, the last couple of promos have strictly focused on the Real Housewives shows hitting Bravo airwaves this fall.

Will Captain Glenn keep doing Below Deck Sailing Yacht?

All of the chaos surrounding Season 5 has some fans wondering if Captain Glenn may take a step back from the show. Captain Glenn does seem to be enjoying his downtime traveling the world with his girlfriend, Danelis “Dani” Jimenez.

View this post on Instagram A post shared by Captain Glenn Shephard (@capt_glennshephard)

Never fear, though. Captain Glenn has no plans to step back from Below Deck Sailing Yacht any time soon.

“I’ll probably continue doing it as long as they keep asking me back. I love it. But because of my age, it’s time for me to stop and smell the roses a bit. My sailing days for work aren’t over, but I’m not going to do it full-time anymore. I’d love to do more seasons of the show,” Captain Glenn shared with the outlet.

Here’s hoping we get Captain Glenn Shephard back on the small screen soon. Keep checking back with Monsters and Critics for more Below Deck Sailing Yacht news.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht star Gary King is going on the record to clarify that the show is definitely not scripted . The news comes in the middle of rumors surrounding producer plants and fake storylines in the Below Deck franchise . However, after his years of experience as a crew member, the reality star can confirm that the drama is as real as it gets.

King recently took to Instagram and answered some fan questions on his story. One of the questions read: “Do the Below Deck producers tell guests to act crazy or are the guests just crazy?” As a response, King denied the rumors and claimed that all guests on the show were actually just crazy.

Another follower asked the reality star whether the producers influenced the drama on the show. Gary replied with a joke saying: “Yeah, they asked us to crash the boat” before clarifying that he was just kidding and that Below Deck Saling Yacht is a completely unscripted show. The yachting industry veteran clarified that the producers let things play out as they are without telling anyone what to do.

'Below Deck' Has Been Accused of Faking Storylines Previously

According to Below Deck executive producers Mark Cronin and Courtland Cox , fans have a huge misconception about the franchise. Cox believes that the viewers don’t understand how real Below Deck is. She added that as producers, his and Cronin’s job is to stay in the background and let things happen. The producer also claimed that the things that actually happen on the show are too wild for anyone to come up with.

Linda P. Jones , who was a guest on Below Deck Season 6, also went on the record to talk about her experience on the show. She took to her personal website and explained that Below Deck is 100 percent real . Jones also spilled the beans on her one-on-one time with Captain Lee and expressed how fascinating it was to hear his stories and ask him questions. She was also all praises for crew members Kate Chastain and Josiah Carter for their professionalism and the five star service they provided to all the guests.

The former guest talked about her time on the yacht and explained how nerve-wracking it is as guests. Jones confessed that while she avoided going down the slide because she didn’t want to be on camera with her makeup smeared and hair wet. She also shared that none of the guests faced any service problems except one night when they didn’t have any bath towels in their rooms. However, she noted that the moment never made it to the show.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 5 is expected to premiere in Fall 2024. All previous seasons of the show are available to stream on Peacock in the U.S.

Is Below Deck Sailing Yacht's Daisy Kelliher headed for another Bravo spin-off?

Daisy Kelliher has been a fan favorite on Below Deck Sailing Yacht for four seasons, known for her fun personality, gift of the gab and ability to handle challenging guests like Erica Rose.

Though she’s made a name for herself on the Bravo spin-off, the Dublin native isn’t ruling out the possibility of joining another Below Deck show, much like Aesha Scott, who moved from Below Deck Med to Below Deck Down Under before returning to her roots.

When asked about working with a different captain in the franchise, Kelliher, 37, told The Standard she views stewing as “just work” and would be "happy" to report to another captain.

“I love sailing, and I'm a sailor at heart, and that's where my background is in, and I love working with Captain Glenn [Shephard]… but you know for me, it is just work, and I'm transferable, and I'm happy to work with any other of the captains or any of the other franchises.

While she has a soft spot for the seasoned captain, the reality TV star added: “As long as they invite me back, I’ll keep returning to Sailing Yacht. But, yeah, never say never. I'm like, whatever work is work, just another boat, more crazy guests and that’s fine with me."

Last season, fans saw Kelliher caught in an unexpected love triangle with chief engineer Colin MacRae and first officer Gary King.

Tension flared when King revealed that he and Kelliher had secretly hooked up before season four, just as she started growing closer to MacRae. The South African first mate accused her of getting involved with MacRae to "spitefully" to get back at him.

Although she and MacRae attempted to continue their romance after leaving Parsifal III, the revelation caused a rift between her, King, and the Kiwi engineer. During the reunion last July, when the trio tried to clear the air, Kelliher was brought to tears after MacRae made barbed comments about her and their relationship.

It's been two years since that season was filmed, yet Kelliher said she still gets messages from fans about the situation, particularly her relationship with MacRae. When asked where things stand now, she admitted: "I would say there's like nothing."

"Honestly, we don't really have—I don't want to say a friendship— obviously, if he needed something, or anyone, like, there's no bad blood there. But no, we don't keep in touch, there’s no reason to.”

Reflecting on the season 4 reunion, she added: "I still stand by a lot of what went down in the reunion. I don't take any of that back, and I still stand by that so there's no reason to rekindle any sort of friendship. But there's also no hard feelings either."

She continued: "I'm like, 'You do you, I’ll do me.' If he needed something, of course, I'd be there. If he texted me, I'd reply. But we’re doing our own thing now."

“And it does really feel like a lifetime ago now, we're very much not in each other's lives. And yeah, it’s fine.”

While she wants to draw a line under that boatmance, Kelliher kept things cryptic about the future of Below Deck Sailing Yacht and when season five will eventually air. “My lips are sealed,” she teased, adding, “I know nothing” about season five or whether she’ll be part of it.

“I don’t know if there is one. I don’t know if I’m on it, if there’s gonna be one. I know nothing, which I know is not what you want to hear.”

Although, her Sailing Yacht captain Glenn Shephard, recently echoed her sentiment, he hinted that fans might not have to wait too long when he spoke to The Standard earlier this week about the delayed installment, which was previously tipped for a February release.

Like Shephard, Kelliher will be making an appearance at the International Boat Show in the UK this Saturday. She’s hosting a cocktail-making masterclass and said she’s “very excited” to be returning to the event, which she called a “great day out” and a fantastic chance to connect with the “awesome boat community.”

“I love being on the sea, and I've grown up with being on the water my whole life, so I love encouraging other people to do the same,” she shared. “And yeah, I'm meeting people, and, yeah, soaking up the atmosphere. So, I'm very excited.”

The Southampton International Boat Show 2024 takes place at Mayflower Park from September 13 to 22. To grab tickets to Daisy’s VIP cocktail-making masterclass visit here .

Capt. Glenn realizes that his laid-back leadership style has allowed his crew to become too comfortable and starts taking charge of quality control in the interior department, much to Daisy's dismay.

"In the galley, Chef Ileisha’s cooking impresses the guests, but her indecisiveness and co-dependency lead to time-management issues between courses, which causes her to self-destruct. On deck, strong personalities collide, and a power struggle results in a near mutiny, as Gary clashes with his new overconfident deckhand, Chase.

"Two overlapping love triangles further complicate the dynamics on-board, and a shocking hookup puts Colin, Daisy and Gary’s friendship in jeopardy. With a near collision, fire, crew rebellion, gruesome guest injury and two different potentially season-ending engine failures, this is the most captivating and unpredictable season yet of Below Deck Sailing Yacht ."

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Recap: Chase Must Be Stopped

Below deck sailing yacht.

below deck sailing yacht season 8

All of the dumb drama we’ve had to put up with lately finally pays off in this episode, which is absolutely perfect from start to finish. I won’t jump ahead, but we finally get what we’ve all been waiting for.

As Captain Glenn has a successful sail, the topic on everyone’s minds today is the dreaded talent show because they’re apparently a talentless bunch and Daisy doesn’t think they’ll be able to top last year’s show. Captain Glenn says the best he can do is “crack jokes,” and Lucy and Mads discuss doing a cheerleading routine. Later, Ileisha, who is perpetually stressed, has no idea what she will do, and Lucy reveals that she can move her breasts while Daisy attempts to teach the girls Irish dance.

While the guests head outside for watersports, Gary tells Colin about how he has to talk to Alex about the dirty boat because Chase complained. Colin says nobody has ever told Alex “that he’s done something wrong” and jokes that it’s because he’s “too good-looking.” Pretty privilege is real! “The situation with Alex leaving the boat in a poor condition is a tough one for me,” Chase shares, adding that he’s frustrated that Gary won’t let him speak directly with his fellow deckie because it makes him look like a “tattle-tale.”

Gary pulls Alex aside for a chat and tells him that the boat looked like “absolute shit” and that even Captain Glenn commented on how bad the flybridge looked. Alex is shocked because he spent “like six hours on it.” “I just think it was very unfair on Chase for you to leave the boat like that,” Gary says. And just when I think Gary can do something right, he immediately throws Chase under the bus by saying that Chase thought Alex was being lazy, which Alex is surprised by. Gary says that Chase was “fucking livid” about Alex’s lack of work, which I don’t think is completely true. Alex is pissed because he thinks “Chase is attacking me behind my back” and won’t talk to him about it directly. Well, Chase wasn’t necessarily attacking him so much as going to his superior about a work issue, and it was Gary who stopped his plan on having a one-on-one chat with Alex.

Back inside, Mads and Alex are talking, and Alex says something about how Mads isn’t stupid because she went to college while Gary overhears. Because he’s a jealous person, he tells Mads to come over to him, and she says he looks busy, and he says he’s never too busy for her. Alex: “Over it.” The pair head outside, and Gary says, “Now that we’ve hooked up twice, I just wanted to know what you want out of it,” and asks if she’s down for a “casual hookup.” She says yes, and then he says he doesn’t like when she flirts with other people and that her holding hands with Alex is “a bit intimate.” Someone needs to tell Gary that the entire purpose of a casual hookup is that you aren’t tied down to one person. “I don’t know Gary’s expectations, but I like to enjoy myself,” Mads shares.

For dinner, which is a seafood palooza, Ileisha makes a family-style meal, which makes me think about how Captain Sandy would just about die if she saw a chef do that two nights in a row. The food includes Greek salad, bacon-crumbed scallops, lobster mac and cheese, and grilled lobster with lemon sauce. The food looks incredible, and the guests love it.

Captain Glenn kicks off the “second annual Big Jim Talent Show” with a series of jokes that aren’t very funny, but everyone laughs at anyway. Chase’s talent appears to be catching food with his mouth, and Mads and Ileisha do an acrobatic thing. Lucy moves her boobs, which doesn’t impress Alex but impresses the guests. “I rate it double D’s,” Jim says. Mads and Lucy then do a cheerleading routine and all the girls perform an entertaining Irish dancing performance. The show concludes with the winner: an original song by Colin about the crew, which Alex helps sing. Daisy says she’s proud of the team and that Colin is “so cute.”

Outside, Alex, Chase, and Gary continue the discussion about the boat, and Chase seems mostly unbothered and tells Alex that he knows he isn’t intentionally trying to “screw me.” Alex is confused because, “From what I can tell, either Chase isn’t that fired up about it, or maybe Gary was instigating some drama.” Gary always loves starting shit, and while Chase was definitely mad that he had to pick up the slack, Gary exaggerated a bit.

The next day is guest drop-off, and Gary is pleased with Alex’s night shift cleaning. Gary and Colin talk about the forthcoming night out, and Gary says he doesn’t think Mads “takes me seriously.” Who would at this point? He then adds that he wants “to fall in love so badly,” and Colin tells us he thinks Gary is “all talk” and a “stage five” clinger. He adds that it’s funny to see how Mads “isn’t completely giving into all of his shenanigans,” and I agree.

When one issue falls (the broken engine), another rises as they prepare to dock only to realize their spot in between two boats is “bone tight.” Captain Glenn says, “Focus is absolutely critical” because he can do a lot of damage if one thing goes wrong. The stews have to help out with the fenders, and after slowly trying to fit into their spot, they do it successfully. The guests finally depart, leaving a massive $27,000 tip and a near-perfect charter for the crew to celebrate.

As they get ready for the night, Chase is blabbering about random things and Mads thinks he’s being “obnoxious already.” Already drunk, he barges inside and asks, “Are there any men left with any balls left in this world?” because nobody wants to drink beer out of a funnel and he begs Gary to. Gary thinks Chase is a try-hard who is a “lovable guy, but interesting.” Chase encapsulates everything I hate about the all-American energy that men love giving off.

Gary joins the girls in the sprinter van this time, and it goes horribly wrong. He tells them about what he and the guys think of all of them, including how everyone wants to hook up with Daisy, but they’re all scared of her and that Lucy, as she interprets it, is a “bloke.” In the guys’ van, Colin asks Chase which of the girls he’d hook up with, and he says Ileisha, but that he respects that she has a boyfriend. Colin is surprised by the answer, but I’m not because Ileisha is one of the coolest girls to ever be on the show. He then starts talking about how Lucy has “some tig ol’ bitties” and that he wants to drink tequila through them. Ew!

At dinner — which Ileisha eventually departs from early because she’s feeling sick — Gary reveals to Colin that he spilled to the girls about what the guys said about them and that they didn’t take it well. Colin is annoyed because it’s a “direct violation of bro code rule number one: Don’t tell the girls what you said about them.” Colin asks the girls if they were offended by what was said, and Lucy says she mostly thought it was funny.

The rest of dinner is Chase-centric because he sucks. He asks Lucy if he can drink tequila between her “boobies,” and she swears on her mother and father’s life that he will never ever get between them. He later wants to cheers to “boobies,” and Lucy tells him that there’s “always a time and a place” for the things he says, and he tells her to give him a break because he’s drunk, which pisses her off. Chase is absolutely disgusting and inappropriate, and using alcohol as an excuse for your shitty behavior is always a dumb move.

Meanwhile, Gary tells Mads in Spanish that she’s a “hottie” and says, “I don’t think we can ask, at our age, if you want to be my girlfriend?” She tells him to slow down, and they later make out in the van back to the boat as Daisy, according to Gary, looks at him as if he had just cheated on her. Colin tells Gary that he doesn’t think he actually likes Mads but that he’s only interested because she’s the only girl who gave him the time of day, which is probably true.

Mads joins Gary in his bunk, but Chase is intent on not letting them hook up in there, so they leave and start sneaking around the boat, which makes Gary feel like a “schoolgirl.” They head into one of the guest cabins, where we hear them having sex, and Colin and Alex start running around the boat trying to find them. When they do, they walk in on Gary and Mads hooking up, which makes Mads angry, and rightfully so. The guys think it’s funny, but it clearly isn’t, and I feel bad for Mads. Daisy is confused because Mads “stormed” into their room, so she and Colin go look for Gary.

This brings us to the moment we’ve been anticipating since the start of the season, which simply does not disappoint. The last minute of this episode is a masterpiece. As Daisy and Colin head back upstairs, they start kissing!!!! They move things into Colin’s room, but since annoying Chase is there, they decide to go hookup in Daisy’s cabin, and Mads returns to Gary. After so much teasing about Colin and Daisy’s relationship, I can’t believe it’s finally here. I’m rooting for them!

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 4 Episode 8 Recap: Seafood-Palooza and Bouncing Body Parts

When last we left Below Deck Sailing Yacht , the Parsifal III was finally able to sail after Chief Engineer Colin MacRae fixed the engine for the second time this season .

“I don’t think I’ve ever had this much engine trouble with guests on board in my career,” Captain Glenn Shephard  commented. “Hopefully it’s the last [time], knock on wood.” And he did that thing we all do and knocked his knuckles on his head. Funny, Glenn.

As Glenn was looking for a safe place to anchor for the night, stews Lucy Edmunds and Madison “Mads” Herrera worried about what talents they could bring to the evening’s guest-requested talent show. Lucy laughed she could do cheerleader moves, “Go, Tigers!”

“How the f*** are we supposed to top last year’s talent show?” Chief Stew  Daisy Kelliher asked. In case you don’t remember, production kindly inserted a clip from last year’s show. Daisy and one of the other stews did a little dance, Colin played an original song on his guitar and First Mate  Gary King  did a strip tease. Captain Glenn said he could “crack some jokes. That’s all I can do.” Oh, I remember Glenn’s dad jokes. So bad.

Finally, Colin told Daisy, “I’ll make up a song in like the next hour.”

“But you’re Mr. Amazing, apparently,” Daisy giggled. “You can do it all … according to everyone!”

Gary creates a conflict among his crew

below deck sailing yacht season 8

“I need to have a little word with [deckhand] Alex [Propson] ,” Gary told Colin. “I just don’t know what was happening last night. Chase [Lemacks] came to me and complained. He was like, ‘I’m going to speak to Alex.’ And I said, ‘No, you’re not.'” Gary’s Alex’s boss, not you. Calm down, Chase.

On the first day, Gary had told both his deckhands when they have anchor watch, “Leave the boat how you want the boat to be left to you. The more you do, the less he’s got to do. And it’s going to work in your favor for when he’s on night watch.” But it didn’t look as if Alex had rinsed anywhere, even though we saw him doing it in the last episode.

As Alex struggled to take the flag down, he complimented Chase on the bowline knot he’d tied it up with, “Nice job, dude!”

But Chase was still annoyed that Gary wouldn’t let him “have a conversation” with Alex about what a mess the boat was when he turned it over that morning. It’s not your job, dude. Let it go.

At that moment, Gary arrived and pulled Alex aside for a chat. “What happened last night, bro?” the first mate asked. “The boat looked like absolute sh** this morning.”

“You’re serious?” Alex was shocked. “I spent like six hours on it. What looked like sh** this morning?”

“Mainly the anchor pocket,” Gary told him. “And everything around there on the list … Scuppers, everything, bro. Glenn commented on the flybridge also.” Alex admitted that he’d forgotten the anchor pocket.

“I just think it was very unfair on Chase for you to leave the boat like that,” Gary continued.

When Alex agreed with him, Gary added, “I know it wasn’t your intention … [Chase] was claiming laziness. And I’m like, Alex isn’t that lazy, so I don’t think so.” Now Gary’s let it out of the bag that it was Chase who ratted him out. Way to throw His Contrariness under the bus. And as production rolled the earlier scene for us, it was clear that Chase never said any such thing about “laziness.” Uh oh.

“That’s honestly like f***ing shocking,” Alex responded.

Then Gary backed the bus up and ran over Chase a couple more times, “He thought you were just sitting doing f*** all the whole night, so he was f***ing livid. And he was like, ‘F*** this!'” Does Gary have early-onset dementia or something? That’s not what happened at all. Is he trying to start a war between his deckies?

“F*** me, seriously?” Alex interviewed. “I feel like I’m working really, really hard. So I don’t know why Chase is attacking me behind my back. If you’re upset about things, Chase, come talk to me,” which is what Chase wanted to do in the first place. Maybe he had the right idea after all. Gary really f***ed that up. Meanwhile, the man in question was innocently enjoying his dinner, unaware that his boss had just thoroughly wound up his co-worker and sent him off in his direction, steaming mad. Nice move, Gary. What do you call that leadership style ? Darwin’s Survival of the Nitwits?

As Chase headed down to his cabin for a nap, he passed Alex in the mess. “Goodnight, Chase,” Alex mumbled. “Good night, my friend,” a clueless Chase called back, oblivious to the fact that his “friend” was internally planning the best way to murder him in his sleep.

Cheffie creates a seafood-palooza, while Gary does some “fishing” of his own

below deck sailing yacht season 8

The guests had requested a seafood dinner for night two, so Chef Ileisha Dell was cooking up a fabulous meal of lobster tails, oysters, whole-baked snapper, fresh fish and grilled prawns. “I’m gonna smash it!” she predicted. I’m sure she will. Her food so far seems to be right on point.

When Gary overheard Alex and Mads bantering (flirting) in the salon, he immediately called from the bridge, “What’re you up to? Come hang.”

Though she’d rather stay and get to know Alex, she knew Gary had rank, so answered his call. “Sounds like you’re busy,” she told the first mate, trying to make it a short visit.

“No, no, no,” Gary insisted. “I’m never too busy for you.” Muttering “over it” under his breath, Alex took his cue to exit.

Gary got right to the point, “You know you’re gorgeous, eh?” Trying to hurry the conversation along, Mads asked, “What did you want to speak about?”

“Now that we’ve hooked up twice,” Gary reminded her, “I just wanted to know what you want out of it. If you want a casual hookup, by all means, I’m down for that.” Really, Gary? Are you pressing the girl to define the relationship already? It’s a bit early for a DTR. We know you just want to get laid, and she’d really rather be with Alex if he could only stay sober long enough.

“I’m fine with [a casual hookup],” she said. When he accused her of flirting with everyone else, she answered, “I’m not flirting. I can’t hold Alex’s hand? To me, that’s very friendly. That’s not, like, intimate.” Girl just wants to keep her options open, but Gary wants to lock her down.

“Uh uh,” he told her. “That’s a bit [too] intimate.”

In a production interview, Mads said, “I don’t know Gary’s expectations, but I like to enjoy myself. And just because we hooked up, that doesn’t necessarily mean now we’re settling down for life.” Back with Gary, she tried to make it clear, “This isn’t serious.” But the giggle may have undermined her intent. “Sorry, I’m a f***ing bitch.”

Mads had no intention of letting Gary tell her what to do. “I’ll flirt with Alex if I want to,” she insisted. Good girl. Gary is not your boss. But he’s Alex’s, and Alex is intimidated by him. So there’s that.

Gary and Colin were writing a song for the talent show. They were saying that Alex has “hair like spaghetti … How do you rhyme something with ‘deckie?'” How about “good hair like Becky?” See I’m a great songwriter. They should’ve asked me. I’m a whiz at parodies, too.

The 2nd Annual Big Jim Talent Show

below deck sailing yacht season 8

At the talent show, Glenn was up first. His “talent” was telling Dad jokes. Badly. “I went to the zoo last week, and all they had was one fluffy little dog … it was a shih tzu.” Okay, I laughed. I’m a sucker for a good Dad joke.

Chase’s “talent” was catching things with his mouth. He should do that more often. It would keep him from talking so much.

Mads and Lucy did cheerleader moves for their talent, while Lucy showed off her boobs’ amazing ability to move independently of each other. Alex was jealous. “Is that even a talent? Like, I can do that, too!” Nobody wants to see you move your boobies, Alex. Meanwhile, legions of women have paid their way through law school working in strip clubs.

Mads, Lucy, Ileisha and Daisy did an Irish jig and eventually involved the guests in their dancing. Having composed a song about the guests last year, Colin announced that he and Alex were singing one this year about the crew. “Gary is the first mate, there’s no girl that he won’t date … Alex is the deckie, his hair is like spaghetti … Thanks for joining us, it’s great to have you back. Please keep your clothes on, Jim, no one wants to see your crack.” It was cute, and the guests loved it.

A meeting of the deck crew

below deck sailing yacht season 8

With the conclusion of the talent show, the guests were off to bed, and Gary invited his crew to the hot tub for an impromptu meeting. Alex apologized for the way the boat looked that morning and promised he was going to work a lot harder overnight.

“Dude, don’t say it to me like I’m your boss,” Chase told him. “The only problem [I had] is Glenn comes out and he’s like, ‘The boat looks like sh**,’ and I feel like an ass.”

Alex claimed that he really took his time cleaning, but Chase assured him, “I’m not the kind of guy to be pissed about some dumb sh** like that.” Flashback to Gary telling Alex that Chase was “f***ing livid” about him “doing f*** all the whole night.”

“I know you’re not trying to screw me,” Chase told his co-worker. “I fully believe you, bro. We’re chillin’.”

I think that’s where the penny dropped for Alex. “From what I can tell,” Alex interviewed, “either Chase isn’t that fired up about it, or maybe Gary was instigating some drama. It just seems like somebody’s not telling the truth.” I’ll take door number two for $500, Alex.

At the end of their little chat, Chase went off to bed, and Gary put his arm around Alex’s shoulders, all friendly. “Just make sure the boat’s clean tomorrow morning, okay?” he repeated. “I’ve got faith in you, bru.”

The next morning when Chase asked Alex how his night went, Alex told him, “I didn’t stop moving, man. The boat should be perfect.”

“Tag, you’re out,” Chase said, as they slapped hands. And Alex went off to bed.

When Gary came up on deck, he exclaimed, “Woo hoo, the boat looks good this morning. I’m happy. Sh**, Alex, good job.”

Drop-off Day

below deck sailing yacht season 8

It’s Drop-off Day! Colin and Gary were looking forward to some fun at the end of the charter. “Everyone’s ready for some carnage,” Colin claimed.

“I’m gonna have a chat with Mads tonight and see where I stand,” Gary told his buddy. Didn’t you already try to do that, Gary? You’re not hearing what she’s telling you. Does she have to write you a letter? “I don’t think she takes me seriously, to be honest.” Oh, she takes you seriously, all right. She’s seriously just not that into you. She likes your deckie, Alex.

“I want to fall in love also,” the first mate continued. “So badly. It just doesn’t seem like that’s going to happen.”

“I think Gary’s all talk,” Colin said in an interview. “I’ve heard all of this before. What we’re dealing with is a stage five clingage.” Colin has a way with words, doesn’t he? Nailed it.

“Mads isn’t just completely giving in to all of his shenanigans,” Colin observed. “It’s kind of funny.” When Gary assured him he wasn’t going to hook up with another chick, Colin asked him, “Yeah, how much you wanna bet?” Colin knows his buddy well.

A tricky docking situation requires all hands on deck

below deck sailing yacht season 8

When the Parsifal III arrived at the dock, the boats already there had left very little space for the sailboat. Gary called for the interior crew to come outside and help handle fenders to keep from touching the boats on either side of them. It’s precarious docking in such a narrow space.

As Glenn explained, “I can do a lot of damage with this boat. If I get ground lines stuck under the rudder, I’m gonna be pulling these guys into me. If I push in too fast or too hard, I can pop their stern lines. Focus is absolutely critical.” That’s why you make the big bucks, Skipper.

It was a really tight fit. Of course, Chase being the classy guy he is, piped up with, “That’s what she said!” Har har.

Finally, Glenn was able to “shuffle his way” into the slip, with the help of nearly all the crew and lots of bumpers. The lines were tossed and tied. The fenders were wedged so tightly, they squeaked like balloons under pressure of popping. A masterful job. Well done, Cap!

“You couldn’t afford a bigger dock?” Charter guest Jim quipped. “Zip up your pants, Veronica. It’s time to go.” Jim must be exhausting to live with. Everything’s a joke.

“It’s a small tip,” Jim told them at the dock, as he clutched, not one, but two fat envelopes in his hand. “It won’t really go very far. But you know, it’s all ones, ’cause I usually spend them at the strip bar. So, farewell to you all, and I love you is what I will say.” In the end, he was very sweet, despite all the kidding around.

“I miss them already,” Chase admitted. So do I. The next guests surely won’t be as nice. Back to work!

Chase is really annoying

below deck sailing yacht season 8

As the crew started their turnaround cleaning, Glenn called them to the “Saloon” for the Tip Meeting. “Just when you think we’re about to have an easy charter,” he told them, “something can always go wrong. Colin, never a dull moment … once again, you saved the charter, dude.”

“Daisy and interior, it’s fun to watch you guys gel,” he continued. “I think it’s a real testament to your leadership … I’ve noticed a marked improvement. For sure.”

“So the tip amount in US dollars: $27,500,” the captain finally announced. “That works out in euros to just shy of $2700 each.” Nice. Everyone was very happy with that.

“Love them,” Ileisha said. “Plus, I am so happy Glenn has started giving compliments to me, but honestly, I’m just so exhausted, mentally and physically.” It’s a high-pressure job, Cheffie. You’re killing it, but you need a couple of days off. Have a fun night out and sleep late tomorrow.

Chase is soooooo socially awkward. Again and again, he just says and does the weirdest, most abrasive things. Even the girls were getting tired of his antics. “He’s so obnoxious already,” Mads said. “He’s, like, on 10.” I’d say more like 12.

As Gary was in the salon trying to tempt Daisy with a shot, Chase had already started drinking and was outside shouting, “Gary!”

“Ugh, he’s driving me crazy,” Gary muttered to himself. “Yes?” he answered the deckhand in his sweetest (fake) voice.

“Are there any men left with any balls in this world?” Chase asked him.

“No, clearly not, bru,” Gary shot back. “I’ve only got half a ball … F***ing hell, Chase.”

Chase was upset that nobody else wanted to funnel a beer with him. “I don’t know how I feel about Chase, to be honest,” Gary admitted. “I think he tries far too hard.” You think , Gary?

“Lovable guy,” Gary concluded, “but interesting.”

Chase was already plastered, and they hadn’t even left the boat yet. He slipped going down the gangway and almost went into the drink, then cackled uncontrollably. Gary had had enough of Chase’s bullsh** and decided to ride with the girls, rather than hang with the guys per the usual.

“What an asshole,” Chase yelled at him, before taking a flying leap into the boys’ van. Wearing his sunglasses upside down, he danced like a white boy in the car on the way to dinner. So embarrassing.

Attempting to get Chase to act like a normal guy, Colin asked him, “Chase, out of all the girls, who would you want to bang?”

“Cheffie,” Chase admitted. “But she’s got a boyfriend, and I respect that.”

“That was unexpected!” Colin laughed.

Still talking about the girls, Chase added, “Yeah, but Lucy got some tig old bitties, though,” getting a big guffaw in response. Nice, Chase. Classy. “Before this season is over, I’m gonna boob-luge some tequila through her tig old bitties.”

“Seems like tonight’s the night,” Alex told him. Don’t encourage him, Alex. You’ll only make him worse.

Speaking of their boss in the other van, Chase drunkenly slurred, “Perhaps Gary’s in there settin’ us up with the other chicks.” Both Alex and I seriously doubt that’s the case.

In the girls’ van, Gary had somehow managed to offend all the girls. Deciding it was no longer a safe space, he opened the car door and stepped out onto the highway. Fortunately, the driver managed to slow the car before he exited the vehicle, but the girls all screamed as he dipped out, “Gary! No! Oh my God!!!” A car traveling in the other direction leaned on the horn in protest. And we thought Chase was crazy!

“Gary, that’s not funny,” Daisy scolded him. “We’re on a f***ing main road.”

“I’m not gonna go anywhere,” he told her. “Stop.” Still dangerous, Gary.

Poor Ileisha wasn’t feeling at all well. She was only drinking sparkling water, but still got sick in the bathroom of the restaurant. Girl just needs to go to bed and rest.

Lucy’s had enough Chase

below deck sailing yacht season 8

At the table, Chase’s obnoxiousness continued. “Can we drink tequila between your boobies tonight?” he asked Lucy.

“Shut the f*** up!” she told him, with a look of utter disgust on her face. “On my mother and my father’s life, you will never, ever get between them.”

Chase just doesn’t know when to quit. “Let me rephrase,” he persisted. “Can we please drink tequila tonight?” But Lucy was just done with Chase and his drunken self.

“Find someone else with tits,” she told Chase, brushing him off like an annoying fly, “because it’s not me, boy.”

Finally, Ileisha decided she just needed to go back to the boat. She was really pale and felt so sick, she couldn’t eat anything. Gary graciously asked if she wanted someone to come with her, but she urged them all to stay and have a good time. “I’ll let you know when I make it back. Have an awesome night.” And with that, Cheffie excused herself and headed back.

While Gary and Mads were having a subtitled conversation in Italian (impressive!), Chase suddenly burst out with, “Cheers to boobies!” Cool, Chase (insert eye roll).

“Chase, there is always a time and a place,” Lucy chided him. “That’s what you need to learn. This is not the time or place.”

“Give me a break,” he told her. “Lucy, I’m like 10 drinks deep.” Only 10? Yikes, I throw up and pass out at three. “Maybe I’m the f***ing asshole.”

But Lucy was really over it by this time. “No one’s saying you’re a f***ing asshole,” she yelled. “Don’t put f***ing words in my mouth. I don’t get it. I can’t do this sh**.” And with that, Lucy stood up, turning her chair over in the process, and stomped off.

But as she went, she was still screaming at Chase. “You’re a f***ing joke … I never said that you were a f***ing asshole. If I said you were a f***ing asshole, I’d say it to your f***ing face.”

Chase claimed it was just a joke, while Alex waved a white flag/napkin over his head. In an interview, Lucy admitted, “I mean, he is an asshole.”

While the girls rehashed the conversation in the ladies’, back at the table Chase promised, “I’m not going to say another f***ing word tonight.” I’m wondering how much of this he’s going to remember tomorrow when none of the girls are speaking to him.

Returning to the table, Lucy sat next to Gary at the opposite end from Chase. “I’m just so fed up with Chase,” Lucy told production. “He’s so annoying. ‘My name’s Chase and I love boobs,'” she said, mimicking an American twang. “‘Let me do tequila shots from your tits.’ What the f***?” Lucy’s American accent is about as good as my British one.

And to all a good night

below deck sailing yacht season 8

On the ride back from dinner, the only one willing to ride in the same car with Chase was Colin. Everyone else, including Gary and Alex, rode in the girls’ van. Chase complained, “I say f***ing one thing, and the chicks are throwing their chairs.” Face it, Chase, you just have that effect on women.

Back in the guys’ cabin, Gary told Colin that when he kissed Mads in the van, “Daisy looked at me as if I’d just cheated on her. But she told me to stay away from her this season.”

When Chase finally headed to bed and found Gary and Mads together in his boss’ bunk, he yelled, “Oh my God. I can tell you one thing I’m not gonna f***ing put up with tonight. It’s this sh**,” meaning Gary and Mads.

“Shut up, Chase,” Gary told him.

“You can suck my d**k, boss,” he responded. “It’s not happening tonight.” And will he remember saying that in the morning?

Looking for privacy, Gary and Mads took their party to one of the guest cabins. But Colin and Alex decided to go looking for them. Apparently, Gary failed to lock the door (rookie mistake, Gary). As Mads moaned, “Gary, Gary, Gary,” the boys opened the door and barged right in.

“Get the f*** out!” Gary yelled, but they just laughed and wouldn’t leave.

“Get the f*** out, Colin!” Mads begged. But he just played innocent, “Hey, Mads, what’s going on?”

Mads was not pleased. “What the f***? Why?!” she asked production. She was finally getting those needs met she talked about earlier in the season, only to be interrupted.

“I’m so sorry,” Gary apologized when they finally left. “How f***ing annoying.” I hope he learned his lesson and locked the f***ing door this time. But with all the commotion, Gary had lost his “mojo,” so Mads took her frustrated leave and returned to her cabin. I hope she packed a vibrator in her suitcase, or it might be a restless night for her.

As Mads stormed into their cabin, Daisy got up and went to ask Colin what happened to Gary. They both went looking and found Gary alone in the guest cabin. He told them that Mads got pissed off and left after the boys broke in. “My bad,” Colin said, sounding not at all sorry.

Then Colin turned to Daisy and asked, “Which bed are we going to?” Okay, now we’re talking. This is what we came here for .

As they walked up the stairs wrapped around each other, Daisy asked Colin, “Are you trying to kiss me?” So he did. And she was into it.

“What the f***?” he asked when they finally came up for air. “Where did that come from?”

Since Chase had declared their cabin a “No Girls Allowed” zone, Colin and Daisy went to her cabin. “Madison, you don’t care if Colin sleeps in here, do you?” Daisy asked her. “Are you and Gary fighting?”

“Madison, why are you still here?” Colin asked her. “[Gary’s] down there all, like, confused now. Why don’t you go back there and make him feel comfortable? You’re gonna thank me later.”

“Am I going to thank you?” Mads asked Colin. “No, I still f***ing hate you.” But she scurried out of there and back to Lord Farquaad.

“Have the time of your life,” Colin said as she left.

And at long last, it begins.

TELL US – DO YOU THINK LUCY OVERREACTED TO CHASE’S DRUNKEN ANTICS? OR DO YOU AGREE THAT HE’S PRETTY MUCH AN ASSHOLE, DRUNK OR SOBER? WERE YOU HAPPY TO SEE DAISY AND COLIN FINALLY HOOK UP?

Below Deck Sailing Yacht is facing cancellation rumors after Gary King’s scandalous behavior continues to push viewers away from the series, and producers scramble to fix their mistakes . While some are excited for the idea of Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5 , many are concerned about the show returning with Gary still part of the cast. Throughout Below Deck Sailing Yacht ’s run, the spin-off has been one of the more interesting iterations of the series. Following the crew of Captain Glenn Shephard’s Parsifal III, the spin-off of the original Below Deck features a more consistent crew of specialized sailing yachties.

While Gary has been part of Below Deck Sailing Yacht ’s cast for most of its run, others have also been familiar to the crew of the Parsifal III. Daisy Kelliher and Colin MacRae, who found themselves in a love triangle with Gary during Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 4 , have been a major part of the series along with the controversial First Officer. Although Gary has been part of the crew for most of its run, his behavior has always been an issue for Below Deck viewers, and the scandal he’s embroiled in now could potentially get the show canceled .

Gary’s Scandalous Behavior Has Always Been An Issue

He’s never been great to women.

Although Gary ’s behavior in recent years has been worse than ever, things have always been touch-and-go regarding Gary and the level of respect he has for women. While Gary has always been clear that his behavior isn’t predatory , the way he behaves toward the women on the crew of Parsifal III as well as the guests hasn’t been the most comfortable. Gary’s reputation has been questionable for years, but things have escalated in recent years.

20 Best Reality TV Shows Right Now

Reality TV is more popular than ever. With so many to choose from, here are some of the best reality TV shows to stream or watch right now.

While Gary’s been called a playboy for the majority of his time on Below Deck Sailing Yacht, he was finally called out for his behavior after the most recent season of the series. During the BDSY season 4 reunion, he was questioned about his relationship with Daisy, as well as the way he behaved toward Mads Herrera and Lucy Edmunds , who didn’t seem entirely comfortable with Gary’s actions. Eschewing any allegations of misbehavior away, Gary did his best to play coy about the fact that he was openly making women uncomfortable.

The Sexual Misconduct Against Gary Took The Drama To Another Level

His behavior hasn’t been well received.

After Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 4 came to a close, sexual misconduct allegations about Gary and a Below Deck franchise makeup artist came to light. The makeup artist, Samantha Suarez, alleged that Gary was aggressive with her, making her uncomfortable while she was trying to do her job and get him ready for filming. While the account is difficult to read, the behavior does seem like something Gary would do given his behavior in the past. Gary has maintained his innocence throughout the ordeal, and Below Deck hasn’t seemed to penalize him, nor have they given a public statement.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Producers Have Allowed Gary To Get Away With Too Much

Will they be able to fix their mistakes.

Although Bravo removed Gary from their BravoCon lineup in 2023, there is already another season of Below Deck Sailing Yacht filmed with Gary in the cast and may be released in the coming months. Since Below Deck producers have had some issues with sexual misconduct in the last year, there has been a lot of talk about how they need to address their problems internally, but Gary being part of Below Deck Sailing Yacht makes it hard to make any strides in the right direction. By allowing Gary to get away with poor behavior, t hey’re unable to make genuine change .
