Built-in 2006 by builder Perini Navi and refitted in 2016, this yacht is an impressive 88 meters (289 feet) long with a beam of 12.9 meters (42 feet) and a gross tonnage of 1,110.

Constructed of steel and aluminum with 2 x Deutz TBD 620 engines, she has a cruising speed of 14 knots and a draft of 6 meters (20 feet).

Her speed at max power is 19.5 knots. The sail area of this incredible yacht is 2,400 m² (25,791 ft²).

The three self-standing rotating masts host fifteen sails that can all be controlled by a single sailor.

This means that under the good wind, record-breaking speeds can be achieved, and she has a range of 3,000 nautical miles.

Known to be a harbinger in yacht design, this three-masted schooner is one of the largest sailing yachts in the world and was the first to integrate the ‘Falcon Rig,’ which is now renowned. The yacht has a timeless square-rigger appearance.

Despite its classic look, it is twice as efficient as its forerunners. The MALTESE FALCON yacht has been recognized as a triumph not just in design but in innovation as well.

Maltese Falcon is able to accommodate twelve guests in five lower deck stateroom and one upper deck passage cabin with a private cockpit. The main deck is an immense open space which features a main saloon, spacious aft-cockpit, two separate studio areas and a majestic formal dining room. There is also a protected sun bathing area and direct access to the cutting-edge wheelhouse, which acts as the heart for the entire vessel.

Maltese Falcon’s onboard amenities and facilities are vast and include such treasures as a full gym with Techno gym, stairmaster and other machines, fifty inch plasma TV in the main salon, SAT TV and DVD throughout the yacht with a fifty inch plasma TV in the master suite, forty two inch plasma TV’s in the four guest staterooms, a thirty two inch plasma TV in the upper deck passage cabin and WiFi throughout the vessel.

Maltese Falcon’s arsenal of toys and tenders include the following: two thirty two foot RIB tenders, four laser sailing boats, one fourteen foot Castold jet tender, six full sets of dive gear, water skis and snorkelling gear.

These areas are set out as follows: Al Fresco dining – The main aft deck is perfect for general al fresco dining and can be set up to suit an array of cuisine from around the world, whether you want a light sushi lunch or to host a canapé evening, this space can be adjusted to give it the right feel for you and your guests. The bar – On the main deck is another wonderful area that can be converted into the ideal socializing space for after dinner parties, listening to music, or chilling out with friends. You will enjoy her brand new cinema room and office, and forward is the main dining room, which can comfortably welcome up to 12 guests.

On the lower deck, you will find the full-beam master suite with a dressing room, a separate bath and shower room en suite, and private access to the gym and the massage area. Four double cabins can also convert into two extra VIP cabins.

On the bridge deck, the VIP cabin offers direct access to a private deck with a dining and relaxing area, where you can enjoy the outdoor cinema under the stars, projected onto the lower sail.

As well as a gleaming hull repaint, there is a new extendable passerelle that takes you all the way down to the water where there is a new inflatable platform for beach-club sea-level living. The flybridge has a new circular sunbed that rotates with the sun. Inside you’ll find her guest areas brighter and more welcoming with lighter woods, cream panels and new tapestries.

There’s a new cinema room on the main deck, a redesigned Japanese-style dining room and her gym shares a state-of-the-art MS Sculpt electric muscle stimulator with the massage room. As well as the latest Starlink Wi-Fi throughout and a wheelhouse brimming with the latest technology, she now operates more sustainably with LED lighting throughout, a new engine control room and new generators for lower noise and vibration.

Her unique features remain, like the three-deck sky-lit atrium where the stairs spiral around the main mast, an iconic architectural wonder. You can still indulge your passion for film with the world’s largest outdoor cinema, where movies are projected onto the lower sail so you can watch from the flybridge. The main deck aft, now shaded by a stylish new hardtop, is even better suited to entertainment with open-air dining aft and a circular sit-up bar, revamped with cream marble and new sound and light systems.

On the water, you'll find whatever you're looking for in MALTESE FALCON's garage of brand-new toys - she has plenty to keep you entertained.

When it's time for bed, the full-beam master suite on the lower deck has a large walk-in wardrobe and adjoining gym as well as his-and-hers bathrooms, now with jacuzzi bath as well as a shower room. Maltese Falcon is ultimate luxury sailing charter yacht built by Perini Navi in their Turkish shipyard Yildiz Gemi ve Makine Sanayi Ticaret AŞ and launched in 2006. Ever since she is delivered, she is kept in immaculate condition by the Owner and her dedicated professional marine crew of 18. Superyacht Maltese Falcon naval architecture and the concept are done by Gerard Dijkstra and Perini Navi Team at request of Mr.Tom Perkins who approached Fabio Perini with idea to build extra-ordinary sailing yacht.

Her exterior and the interior is designed by Ken Freivokh. The interior is luxurious with a rich contemporary décor, delightful to the eye and soothing to the soul. Falcon is the ideal choice for large scale entertaining while meandering between smart anchorages or for that once in a lifetime blue water ocean passage, foaming through the crests, under a towering cloud of sail. Atlantic crossings in ten days are on offer from this extraordinary yacht!

Maltese Falcon boasts three Dyna-Rig types of self-standing and rotating masts which host fifteen sails for an incredible total sail area of 2400 square meters, all of which can be controlled by one person on the helm station via computer system. Without her rig, you might recognize this as a Perini Navi sailing yacht, but add the three-masted Dyna-Rig and all preconceptions go down the drain. The Dyna-Rig concept was developed in Germany in the 1960s, as a propulsion alternative for commercial ships in the face of a looming energy crisis. When the crisis actually materialized in the early 1970s, further refinement and some testing followed, but no Dyna-Ships were built and the idea eventually went into the archives.Superyacht Maltese Falcon can accommodate twelve guests in five staterooms based on the lower deck and one upper deck passage cabin with a private cockpit.

A VIP cabin is situated on the upper deck and feature a queen-sized berth while the full beam master cabin boasts a king-sized berth, a separate full beam dressing room and private GYM located on the lower deck. Four of the guest staterooms are convertible into two large VIP suites, each with his and hers baths. All of the cabins are with en-suite facilities. We use MYBA ( The Worldwide Yachting Association) agreements produced to standardize charter terms and protect the Charterer ( You) , the Owner, and the Agent/Broker.

It has standard protections and escalation clauses in case any problems arise.

Once you have signed a MYBA charter contract, you are obligated to pay the entire charter regardless you actually board the yacht.

In exceptional cases, you may be able to cancel, but monies will be refunded only if the yacht can be chartered to another client, therefore many we suggest purchase of insurance against cancellation.

Charter fee is paid in two rates ; 50% of charter fee when the charter contract is signed and 50 % 4 weeks before charter commencement. Extra expenses are charged with Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA). APA is usually 25 % to 30 % of total charter fee and also depending on your itinerary, food, beverages etc. Captain will keep accurate records of funds spent during your charter and at the end of the charter, you will be refunded the difference, or you will asked to pay more during the cruise if further running costs are incurred.
