Overall rating

It is a great marina, if you happen to be white. Show up with an accent and they will throw your application away. Tried to get a slip and they gave me a personal email to send my information to. This is after calling various times. It's a beautiful place for white people to enjoy without Hispanics with boats. They never answered the email

Used Freedom Boat Club membership and it was quick, easy, and fun! Will be visiting again soon.

There aren't enough stars for Bruce at Kennedy Point. We were at anchor, with a dying battery bank and little sun for the solar panels, so we decided to fire up the engine and let the alternator charge us up. The starter chose that moment to fail. Even though the marina was very full, Bruce went out of his way to find us a spot that we could be towed into. We wound up sideways to the slip, and Bruce and some awesome boat owners ran to help. The tow captain made some unfortunate decisions including unhooking from our boat (!) but in the end wound up doing what Bruce said needed to be done, and we finally made it into the slip with no damage or injuries. It was clear that he truly cared about us and our boat and the other boats. He also let us stay longer than planned to allow time for the new starter to arrive and someone to install it, and so we could time our departure (our draft is deep for the channel getting in so every inch matters) for high tide and calm winds and chop. Bruce really saved our bacon and we are so grateful.

ONE OF A KIND LOCATION!!! Absolutely loved looking directly across to SpaceX Launch pad from the marina! Beautiful and peaceful, enjoyed watching the dolphins and manatees inside harbor. The marina is nearly complete with brand new docks and slips. On site manager really goes above and beyond to make you feel at home, and is extremely accommodating. People are friendly, and there are plenty of nearby restaurants and local attractions to choose from. I would highly recommend this marina!!!

⛵️ I had such a great time at Kennedy Point Yacht Club! Everything from the friendly staff to the well-kept facilities was amazing. The club has a warm and welcoming vibe, and the sailing opportunities are endless. I can't recommend this place enough!

The manager Bruce has done so much more than his job requires and made my stay here very enjoyable. The last Hurricane put my boat on the bottom of the harbor. Bruce has been so helpful with the sunk boat and also dealing with the insurance company he really has gone above and beyond anything I would expect. I'm now shopping for a new boat and it won't be docked anywhere but Kennedy Point Yacht club and marina . This is all due to the outstanding care and help from Bruce, a true Christian that lives by the word of God, how much more of a honest person could you ask to deal with. … – show 0 0 Reply

Then we asked if we would be refunded the deposit if, God forbid, something happens on our way down coming from Myrtle Beach. He said no and hung up on me because my husband wasn't happy over that. We feel he's over charging compared to the rest of the marinas in the area for the reviews I've seen. 0 0 Reply

January 12, 2022, 11:08 pm My friend (a disabled U.S Veteran) and I (a fellow Veteran), we called KPYC to try and get some information about the restrictions for vessels that the marina has, however when we called and talked to Bruce(who by the way is the General Manager (according to him)) we were treat with bothing but rudeness and disrespect. I will not ever be calling back. Nor will I be a customer at any marina that treats people like that. 10 out of 10 would recommend finding a new marina. 0 0 Reply

Bruce, the manager came out on the dock to help us in. He was was very accommodating during our stay here. Met some great people, other travelers and some live-aboards, too. Walking distance to Walgreens and Cumberland Farms. Uber rides show up in minutes. Saw 4 rocket launches! 0 0 Reply

There are a few places within walking distance to eat and get groceries. Best to bring a cart or wagon with you if you are a cruiser and want to go shopping.
