Easy parking with convenient access and Club atmosphere. Open dining area with comfortable seating. Wide variety of dining options well prepared and served by a competent personable staff. Certainly one of the best places I have visited in Punta Gorda area.

Great place to be a part of beautiful facility and food is really good. We've met many life friends at the Isles Yacht Club

This is an unusually friendly private club. While you would expect the staff to recognize members by name, this staff go out of the way to make members feel welcome. They make every effort to accommodate them with special menu items and last minute reservations. The members go out or their way to make new members and guests feel at home. Their chef has excellent, the crab cake we s to die for. I recommend people new to the area check out the Isles.

The food at the club is as good as it gets in Punta Gorda. The meals are always consistently good. The prices compare well to anything in town. The staff is excellent and very accomodating. If they have it in the kitchen they can make it for you. The Sunday Brunch is an especially great value. The Friday night happy hours are a lot of fun and a great place to meet new people. Reservations are never a problem as they will always find room for you.

Our wedding reception was held at the beautiful Isles Yacht Club in Punta Gorda, FL on March 5, 2016. Jake Williams, CCM, General Manager, worked with our wedding planner, Kelly McWilliams of Weddings by Socialites, to produce a perfect ending to my wedding day. Jake was extremely attentive, responsive, and flexible in coordinating with all vendors to make my wedding reception amazing. The Isles Yacht Club is located on the water and provided a beautiful background for sunset wedding photos from the yacht basin. The room layout accommodated a dance floor brought in by my wedding planner. Our 140 guests were served an assortment of hot hor d'oeuvres prior to the plated dinner. Dinner included a choice of prime rib, salmon picatta, or vegetable pasta primavera. The food was delicious and was served on time by an efficient and friendly staff. The Seafarers is a limited membership club organized under the Punta Gorda Civic Association. Membership is targeted at 300 individuals.

Membership is open to all residents of Punta Gorda Isles who meet the requirements for membership.

Members must:

• Reside in Punta Gorda Isles
• Be a member of the Punta Gorda Isles Civic Association
• Own a boat operated on Charlotte Harbor or belong to the Freedom Boat Club
• Agree to participate actively in Club events
• Provide evidence of one family member having passed a Safe Boating Course

Simultaneous membership in the Seafarers and any other PGICA-sponsored boat club is not permitted.

The annual membership fee is $20 for a single membership or $40 for a family membership. Membership fee is payable upon completion of a membership application initially and on the first of January in subsequent years.  Members joining after June first of any year shall pay one half of the annual dues for the balance of the year.

There is also a onetime initiation fee of $55 per couple which includes two custom Seafarer nametags and one Seafarer Burgee.

Therefore, the total charge for a couple joining as new members before June 1 is $95, and after June 1 it is $75. Here's how to join: Option 1 - Join Online on the PGICA home page (This method only works if you are the Primary Member in the household; for explanation click  Primary/Family Member Help ) 1. Click Here  to open a new PGICA window (so you can go back and forth to these instructions). 2. Hover over your name in the upper right-hand corner of the PGICA home page. 3. Choose “Profile” from the box that appears. 4. Within the “Personal Info” section, click “Clubs/Additional Members”. 5. Click the “Add a Club” icon on the next page (you can add Family Members at the same time). 6. Choose “Seafarers” from the “Select a Club” pop-up window. 7. Click "save" in the pop-up and then “save” at the bottom of the profile page. What happens next: • You will get an email (almost immediately) confirming your membership choice. • We will also get a notification of your request to join. • Shortly thereafter (give us a couple days), someone from our club will be in touch to welcome you and fill you in on our dues structure, how to pay, and other club specifics. Option 2 - Paper Application 1. Print out an Application Form by clicking this button:  Membership Application   2. Or pick up an Application at the PGICA Office. 3. You can mail in, or drop off, your Dues (check or cash) and Application at the PGICA office. What happens next: • We will be in touch to welcome you and confirm receipt of your application and dues. Option 3 – Check us out! If you would like to check us out before joining, you can be a guest at one of our Happy Hours. We meet at St Andrews CC from 5-7 on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month. --> Get used to it, boating is BIG in Punta Gorda! Whether you're an old salt, a seasoned sailor, a deep sea fisherman, a flats fisherman, a kayaker, a novice sailor/boater or someone who is only dreaming about their first boat or boating adventure, opportunities abound in Punta Gorda and Charlotte Harbor. The best way to get your feet wet is to get involved with one of the local boating organizations, yacht clubs or charter fleets. There are many to choose from and each can provide you with access to friendly members who will provide you with "local knowledge" about the area waterways and open your eyes to all of the various boating activities, organized cruises and races, flotilla events, fishing tourney's and so much more. Better yet, if you want to meet new people and have fun on or off the water, these organizations will open the doorway into friendship, social events, adventures and then some. You'll find that owning a boat is not a requirement to get out onto the water and to have some fun! If you're new to boating or prefer not to own a boat, there are plenty of places to rent kayaks, or to charter/rent anything from small sail boats and powerboats for easy day sailing, fishing and cruising to extended charters on larger trawler yachts and sailboats. There are also local sailing schools that will help you learn the basics of keel boat sailing and obtain your ASA (American Sailing Association) certification as well as offering courses for the more experienced sailor to further advance their skill and certification levels for greater charter sailing opportunities offshore. There are also instructional courses for power boats of all sizes too. Any way you look at it, being on the water is what Punta Gorda is all about. So jump in and take the plunge...The water's fine!   A very active boating club with a hands on approach. There are a variety of social and community activities. There are no employees and all functions are accomplished by the members.   The Punta Gorda Sailing Club offers many racing and cruising activities. Many weekends one can see the sailboats rounding markers in Charlotte Harbor.   This is a boat club made up of members that own a mix of both power & sailboats. The Mariners of PGI is the second oldest boat club of the Punta Gorda Isles Civic Association. Membership requirements include attending three meetings & participating in a minimum of two scheduled Mariners of PGI cruises within each calendar year. Membership to the is required to join the Mariners of PGI.   This is a cruising club made up of members that want to cruise SW Florida and beyond. They do many cruises to different destinations, near and far. This is a great way to learn the waters and meet new friends. Membership to the is required to join the PGI Cruising Club.   They sponsor cruises to meet the needs of all types of boaters, including power and sail for daytrips as well as overnigh and extended length cruises to many choice boating areas. Requirements for joining: membership, boat ownership in Punta Gorda, attendance at a minimum of three monthly membership meetings, participation in at least two scheduled cruises and work on at least one club event, committee or board.   The newest boating and cruising group offered by the , they have a high percentage of members who have lived in Punta Gorda for less than three years. This makes them the logical choice for newcomers who want to make new friends and meet other boaters. They offer one general meeting and two socials every month in addition to their envents and cruises. (BSIBC) was formed in January 1989. Since its inception the boat club has grown rapidly. Membership in the boat club is open to all residents of Burnt Store Isles regardless of boat ownership. Our primary focus is to promote safe and enjoyable boating activities in beautiful Charlotte Harbor and the surrounding areas. Throughout the year we have luncheon and dinner cruises to local marina restaurants, picnics to barrier island beaches and over night cruises to local and East Coast resort areas.   Located in Port Charlotte. The Charlotte Harbor Yacht Club has a lovely new clubhouse with a beautiful view of Charlotte Harbor. The dining room is central to many social activities. The club also offers many boating activities.   The Isles Yacht Club is located in the center of Punta Gorda Isles, with quick access to Charlotte Harbor. The club offers a wide and varied social and boating activity calendar. There is both diesel and gas available for members.   SW Florida Yacht Charters has a great selection of sailboats and powerboats so you will be able to find the size and type of vessel that meets your cruising needs. If you are an experienced sailor you may want to do a Bareboat Charter. However, they can arrange for a crewed charter with one of their excellent Captains.   Yachting Vacations emphasizes personalized cruising and offers the finest yachts for the discriminating charter. Our fleet of Etaps, Island Packets and Custom Catamarans are the finest in the industry. Set sail from our base at Burnt Store Marina, the largest private marina in Southwest Florida on Charlotte Harbor, and dolphins will dance in your wake as you head for tropical islands hideaways. With the right ASA certificate you will be able to rent any sailing vessel up to 45 ft. anywhere in Paradise. The $250.00 is applied to the initiation fee upon acceptance as a club member. The application and check can be submitted to a Membership Committee member 365 days/year or to the Club Administrator. You will need 2 PPYC members to be sponsors. You may already know PPYC members, and if not, we can find sponsors for you. A membership is defined as 2 persons (an individual and spouse/partner). Single memberships are available upon request. What are the costs? We are a private club, and we finance ourselves.  We do this through an ”Equity Membership,” an initiation fee, and annual dues. The one-time Equity Fee is $2,000 which can be paid in full or in 2 interest-free $1000 payments due 60 days and 90 days after approval of membership by BOD.  An Equity certificate will be issued upon full payment. The $2,000 equity fee will be returned to former members who have resigned, after a replacement member is accepted.
