Ilmenite is EXTREMELY RARE, as MINDAT does not list the species for the locale. This is a hefty, OLD-TIME specimen of nearly solid gray-black ilmenite, with only a bit feldspar on one side. Two sharp euhedral crystal edges on one end highlight the lustrous on one side and matte on the other mostly subhedral specimen. There is an old faded 1.3 cm label in English on the matte side.
