One of the highlights of our trip to Dana Point. Capt. Jeff does an absolutely superb job with these sailing trips. We did the Thursday sailing race in the early afternoon. Jeff and Brian taught us all the basics of sailing and many of the more advanced concepts. My family and I had a great, great time.

Security deposit

A security deposit hold (not a charge) will be placed on your credit card 48 hours before your booking starts to cover any incidental damage that may occur during your rental. This hold is released 48 hours after the booking is complete, if no claims are made. The security deposit amount for the boat you are booking will be outlined during the check-out process.

If requested, the owner can provide a list of available captains for bareboat charter or the renter can use their own qualified captain. If the boat is being time chartered, the owner will provide the Captain.

• We have been providing Burials at Sea for over 30 years to residents of Southern California, Orange County, Newport Beach, and surrounding areas. The Dana Wharf fleet includes a catamaran, an historic sailing schooner, a variety of luxurious yachts and several fishing boats.
• Our Boats can accommodate groups of 1 – 125 Passengers.
• And all of our boats are USCG certified and staffed with licensed, professional, caring & empathetic crew members.
• Certificate of the Coordinates: After your seaside service, we will present you with an official  Certificate of the Coordinates  of where your loved one’s ashes were scattered, should you wish to make a future visit.
• Food, Flowers, and More: Customize your burial at sea with professional catering, flower arrangements, and more. Play your selected music and video montage to create the perfect atmosphere. We will happily assist you with all the details.
• By choosing Dana Wharf, you can be comforted knowing your loved one will be placed to rest with respect, dignity, and care.

We have been providing Burials at Sea for over 30 years to residents of Southern California, Orange County, Newport Beach, and surrounding areas. Dana Wharf’s elegant harbor, the stunning Orange County coastline, and our courteous and professional crew ensure a memorable and beautiful service at sea.

Our vessels can accommodate your group of 1 – 125 for a scattering of ashes at sea. All the boats in our fleet are USCG certified and staffed with licensed and professional crews. It is our job to make sure you have a pleasant experience. We know that this is a hard time and are here to help make the entire process as easy as possible. Should you have any special requests, please ask the charter agent at the time of booking.

After the Burial at Sea, we will present you with a certificate of the coordinates of where the ashes were scattered, should you wish to make a future visit. We will also be happy to assist you with any flower and catering needs. Dana Wharf will make a generous donation in the name of your loved one to  The Gulf of Catalina Gray Whale Preservation and Education Foundation  with ceremonies booked on the Ocean Adventures Catamaran or the Dana Pride. You will receive a certificate of donation.
