Anyone dealt with Deep Blue Yacht Supply

Hello everyone, we are on the tedious search for a new prop shaft for our Beneteau 42. While shopping around, I received a quote from Deep Blue Yacht Supply of Florida that was easily $200 less than anyone else's. Even Beneteau! Don't want to naturally jump to the cheapest supplier unless they are also reputable and provide a good product. So anyone have any dealings with them, positive or negative? Thanks  

Yes I have. Great Service, great Prices, Great Products. I'll Def. buy from them again.  

my only suggestion is to make sure you are comparing identical products. are they same metal quailiy ?? both new and one not being a "remanufatured" (straightned or cut down) are both ends machined if needed ? no knowledge of deep blue but $200 less is a big difference.  

Ditto what Pete said...make sure you're comparing apples to apples. $200 difference doesn't seem right. Also keep in mind that shipping a shaft can be fairly pricey. Probably truck freight depending on the length and weight. Even in alloys like Aquamet there are different grades and prices.

Prices are good, but the shipping is not as advertised. I placed an order for 4-5 day flat shipping and it has now been a week and I still do not have my prop that I need and told would be delivered in a timely manner. I do not recommend make a purchase here and will be making purchases elsewhere in the future. As per the other reviews below, Mike is rude and not helpful at all Terrible customer service and doesn't care about his customers.

Apologies for the troubles - shipping times are at an all time low due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Tight lines & Smooth Seas John D

Shipped missing parts and refuse to refund me full price. Only answer emails when they want.

I bought a cutlass bearing that did not arrive through USPS. Mike Heller in the company refused to help and hang up phone on me. He was very belligerent and aggressive, despite my cordial tone, as I guessed this was not the company fault, but his attitude was terrible. Very bad customer service. I would not buy from this guys as if any problem arises or you need to return an item, you will be screamed at and loose your money.

Great service. Used the prop guide on the website, and it gave me the correct options. Called the office and asked which was the best. Got into a Solas prop for the best price I could find. Boat has never run better.

I guess I am one more customer with a one star rating that was hung up on by Mike who claimed to be the owner. I ordered a propeller Thursday last week and paid $155 for FedEx priority overnight shipping because the Deep Blue Yacht Supply website said that specific propeller was "in stock" and "ships same day". It still says that. It is Thursday one full week later, and I still do not have the propeller. I was misled several times that it was shipping when it wasn't. The owner Mike could have been customer focused and apologized and refunded some part of $155 overnight shipping fee since a week has gone by and I I don't have product. Instead he told me he wouldn't refund any of my $155 shipping fee and hung up on me. Won't order again from there

I've ordered three outboard propellers from these guys over the past few years. I am always impressed with the selection, pricing, and fast shipping. Mark (or was it Mike?) in customer service was easy to deal with when I entered the wrong shipping info and needed to make a change to my delivery. Overall, five star experience each time. You get big retailer prices with mom-and-pop style service.

Been a professional captain for 25 years bought a spare propeller from Mike when I needed it a year and a half later it did not fit and when I tried to get help was not treated well and hung up on.

I ordered a prop shaft from mike in sales, told it was shipped last week. Waited one week for it to arrive, did not arrive. Ups just sent me email, they just received it, process of shipping. Waited one month to get my shaft. Will not order any more stuff.

Ordered two large props for my Carver 38, they arrived on time, but one prop was bent. Deep blue offered to allow my tech to make the repairs at a cost not to exceed $200 and credit may credit card, when I sent them photos and they approved the repairs. they verbally promised, after photo review, Steve in sales would credit me. He saw photos and said to make the repairs. I did so, sent the receipts and been fighting for the credit for months. Tired of fighting, so here goes YELP, something that I do not do.
