The Leopard 44 was “Boat of the Year” when introduced in 2011 with the judges positively commenting on performance, easy handling and the revolutionary forward cockpit. The Leopard 44 features two cockpits, one fore and one aft with outside dining area protected by a functional hard-top bimini. Sailing the Leopard 44 is easy: both main and jib sheets lead to stoppers and self-tailing (electric) winches directly adjacent to the helm. The galley-up has ample storage and a huge drawer type fridge and freezer. No steps up or down anywhere on the salon level. The 3-cabin layout features an owner-dedicated starboard hull with master stateroom, office area and large head with separate shower forward. The Leopard 44 represents Robertson and Caine’s innovative developments with modern features while remaining committed to the tried and tested features that have made the Leopard line one of the most sought after brands of catamarans globally. History / Background

South African boat builders Robertson and Caine have built over 2,000 catamarans over the last three decades. The Leopard 44 results from another successful collaboration with American catamaran designers Morrelli & Melvin. The goal was a solid, affordable mid-sized catamaran capable of blue water sailing and good for the charter market. Multiple awards and the boat’s enduring popularity show how well they hit the target.

The Leopard 44 starts with a hull construction of vacuum-bagged balsa cored e-glass with vinylester resin. This makes for a light, strong and blister resistant foundation to bond the fiberglass liner.…

"Blissful Moments" is the newer version of the  popular  Leopard 44 model, with  the  milk interior.  She was purchased by the owner coming out of  The  Moorings St. Martin charter fleet where an extensive refit was performed before she sailed away.

This vessel did have some repairs from Hurricane Irma damage on St. Martin, professionally completed under a regular insurance claim and returned to the charter fleet. She was NOT a total loss, salvage.
