The cost varies widely depending on the yacht's size, level of luxury, and charters duration. Day charters can start from a few thousand euros, while a week-long hire on a superyacht may cost tens of thousands.

For the liveliest atmosphere, July and August are peak season. If you prefer a quieter pace, May, June, and summer, September, and October are lovely, with the added bonus of fewer crowds.

Our rent charters fee typically includes the rental of the yacht or boat itself, the attendance of a professional staff, and all necessary safety equipment. Standard provisions may cover basic amenities, but additional costs such as fuel, marina fees, food and beverage expenses, and any special requests (e.g., water sports equipment, guided tours) are usually not included and can be arranged for an extra fee. It's important to discuss these details upfront to tailor the charter to your preferences while managing budget expectations.

More than 90 days before the charter start date: Clients may cancel their booking and receive a full refund of any amounts paid, less an administrative fee to cover processing costs.

60 to 89 days before the charter start date: Clients are eligible to receive a 50% refund of the total charter fee.

Less than 60 days before the charter start date: No refunds will be available, as we are unlikely to rebook the yacht for the specified period on short notice.

We strongly recommend clients consider travel insurance that covers charter cancellations due to unforeseen circumstances such as illness or travel disruptions. This ensures that your investment is protected, and you can look forward to your luxury yacht charter experience with peace of mind.

Immediate Concerns: If your complaint is related to the yacht or services provided during your charter, we kindly ask you to inform the captain or the head crew member as soon as possible. Many issues can be resolved quickly when addressed in real time, ensuring the rest of your charter experience remains enjoyable

Formal Complaint: If your concern cannot be resolved during the charter or if it pertains to issues before or after your yacht experience, please submit a formal complaint in writing within 14 days of the charter's conclusion. You can email us directly at [email protected] .

Investigation Process: Upon receiving your complaint, our customer service team dealing with Ibiza Yacht Charter will conduct a thorough investigation.

Resolution: We aim to resolve all complaints within 30 days of receipt. We will provide you with a written response detailing the outcome of our investigation.

Even before the beginning of Covid, Ibiza was on a sharp increase as the ultra-luxury yacht charter destination of the Mediterranean. As the South of France and Monaco become increasingly hostile towards luxury yacht charters (new Monaco government regulations starting in 2023 introduce strict KYC protocol, on top of above-standard VAT), Spain remains friendly and hungry for more high value clients.

The Balearic government is strongly pushing for high end, luxury tourism – at the expense of the huge all inclusive resorts introduced by Franco in the 60’s. Note that Balearic Islands are an autonomous area not on the same page with Madrid about where should the tourism taxes stay/leave. This issue is complicated by the fact that most marinas in Ibiza/Mallorca are owned by people with historical ties to the Spanish royal family, as Spain is still a kingdom.

Ibiza Charter – What You Need To Know Now

• don’t forget – the Ibiza clubs take turns on who’s hosting “THE” party, don’t plan without consulting someone on the ground. Going to Pacha or Amnesia on a wrong night can just kill your day.
• note that the Spanish prefer cooperation with local brokers, pick a broker in the Baleares, such as DMA Yachting .
• Beaches – Cala Salada, Cala Conta and Ses Salines are nice – what you really want is a private cove you can play music in the evening without other boats doing the same thing (after you turn it off). This is important, Spanish parties go until 9am, which is very well documented in this video by Sak Noel
• Scenery – while exploring hedonism to the fullest, take a moment to contemplate as well. Surprisingly, Ibiza IS a location where you can experience life changing sunsets. Please don’t be so lame to propose in Cafe del Mar, you’ll probably be brought a bottle of Dom Perignon 5 seconds after the table next to you did that, true story. Do so on a private yacht, with a private sunset.

For most Ibiza yacht charters to be secured, you will usually need to provide a completed charter agreement and 50% of the charter fee as a deposit. This is payable once the contract has been signed.

You will have a greater variety of yachts to pick from if you decide to start your charter in Ibiza or Mallorca compared to mainland destinations. Whilst Barcelona certainly has a considerable array of yachts to choose from, it is not as extensive as the islands. 

We also strongly recommend that you book your yacht charter in Ibiza at least three months in advance to ensure you get the yacht you desire. The longer you leave it, you'll find you'll have less choice available.

There is a yacht to suit almost every budget in Ibiza so rest assured that you will find a vessel suitable to your requirements.

But when booking do keep in mind the costs that aren't included in the base rate, namely VAT and the APA (Advance Provisioning Allowance). The APA is usually paid in advance of the charter and is commonly set at 30% of the charter fee. This allowance covers expenses such as fuel, berthing, food and drinks, as well as any special requests.

¿QUE DEBEMOS SABER ANTES DE ALQUILAR UN SUPERYATE?

A partir de ahí será mucho más fácil ajustar los metros de eslora así como las necesidades y preferencias que tengas. Aquí tienes tres cosas básicas que debes saber antes de disfrutar de tus vacaciones por las aguas de Ibiza y Formentera a bordo de uno de nuestros yates.

1. Contrato Todas nuestras embarcaciones vienen con un contrato en el que se especificarán todos los detalles del chárter. En el estarán incluidos todos los servicios que se llevarán a cabo con sus respectivos precios y también todo el equipamiento del barco.

Además, durante la reserva se entregará el contrato donde se especificarán todas vuestras necesidades, como por ejemplo, las comidas que deseas que prepare el cocinero. La finalidad de este contrato es conocer todas tus preferencias y preparar el barco según tus necesidades.

2 . Tripulación La tripulación es algo obligatorio en el alquiler de un yate y todas nuestras embarcaciones cuentan con tripulación profesional que conoce muy bien cómo manejar la embarcación y cómo navegar por las aguas de las Islas Baleares. Normalmente está compuesta por un patrón, uno o dos marineros y un cocinero. También es posible alquilar un yate solo con un patrón y un marinero. Todo esto depende de las dimensiones del barco.  

Sin embargo, si deseas alquilar un yate de menos de 12 metros y tienes la licencia de Patrón de embarcaciones de recreo (PER) tienes la opción de navegar sin patrón aunque, nosotros siempre recomendamos contar con un patrón profesional que conoce las islas y las mejores rutas. De esta manera, podrás disfrutar de tus vacaciones sin preocupaciones y sin la responsabilidad que conlleva estar a los mandos de la embarcación.

3.Extras Antes de elegir el yate debes tener en cuenta todos gastos que no están incluidos en el precio del alquiler del yate. Lo más importante será el amarre y el combustible. Algunos yates incluyen el amarre en el precio pero hay otros que no. En cuanto al combustible, será importante tener claro cuánto vas a navegar y saber aproximadamente cuanto gasto va a suponer.

Otros gastos extra serán el de la tripulación o el de la fianza en el caso del alquiler de la embarcación sin patrón. También hay que considerar el precio del alquiler de juguetes acuáticos y, por último de los packs confort. Estos packs suelen incluir toallas, sabanas, limpieza, zodiac,etc.

Servicio de compra a bordo Para todas aquellas personas que hayan alquilado una o más semanas un yate, nosotros nos encargaremos de la gestión de la compra y de tenerla a bordo. De esta manera, cuando llegues al barco encontrarás todo lo que habías pedido y ya podrás empezar tus vacaciones sin preocuparte por la comida.

Reservar un amarre Nosotros nos pondremos en contacto con el puerto en el que desees reservar el amarre y nos encargaremos de todo para que no tengas que estar pendiente de ninguna llamada. Solo tendrás que relajarte y disfrutar de tus merecidas vacaciones.

We are extremely pleased to present this impressive  Lagoon 470 catamaran for hire in Ibiza . It is an old school construction boat, launched in 2002, and completely renovated in 2018 both inside and out.

This remarkable sailing yacht gives an incredible impression of being aboard one of those old school vessels you rarely get the pleasure of seeing anymore. Built with real solid wood- not plywood as they use now- and deck height (freeboard) that allows sailing even against the wind. A great boat that we have equipped with the latest technology, luxury and comfort on board: Air Conditioning (stern cabins), last generation power generator, and high capacity watermaker.

In addition to all the technology, we have also painted the entire boat and replaced all the exterior teak wood and nylon trampoline up front. Come on, let´s be the first to enjoy this practically brand new refitted catamaran!

Diving into the basic details, the beautiful  Lagoon 470 catamaran, our flagship for the boat rental market in Ibiza,  is an authentic floating palace offering a living surface area of 120 m2 (15 metres length x 8 metres width).

This luxury Lagoon 470  has a total of 4 cabins and 4 bathrooms available to our guests. There are also two small individual cabins with entrances from the exterior, also known as hutches, which are used by the captain and optional hostess. When it comes to this amazing yacht charter in Ibiza , it is safe to say they don’t make them like this anymore!

In addition to everything we have added during the winter of 2018, this sailing yacht in Ibiza comes packed with luxuries and amenities: a spectacular panoramic lounge with views of 360 degrees, LED flat screen high definition television, a full independent galley with dishwasher, refrigerator, freezer, a Stand Up Paddle board, snorkel equipment, electric toilets and the long list continues. Our amazing  sailing rental yacht in Ibiza departs out of the Bay of San Antonio (west of the island of Ibiza) or from Cala Jondal (in the south of Ibiza island). Although the catamaran offers everything necessary to be anchored in front of the wonderful beaches of Ibiza and Formentera for a full week without having to return to the port, this does not mean that we need to refrain from returning to the buoy whenever we want. For example, if we would like to test out the night life in Ibiza or want the children to exert their energy somewhere on land so they sleep better at night. 😉

In the following tables you will find the rental rates of our precious Lagoon 470 catamaran for this season in Ibiza and Formentera .

Embarking and disembarking will take place in Cala Jondal where our crew members will take you to our catamaran on one of our zodiacs. 

Rental conditions of Lagoon 470 catamaran in Ibiza

• All fees shown on the table above include VAT, insurance, and skipper.
• The 3.5 metre dinghy, with its outboard motor, is also included in the weekly rental price.
• The fuel for the catamaran is not included in the price. The average fuel consumption for this catamaran is an estimated 400 euro per week (15 euro per hour). Any hours the 220V power generator is used will also need to be calculated (15 euro per hour). Actual prices depend on the usage of the engine and the generator.
• The fuel for the day charters with no overnight stay are INCLUDED in the price.
• Aside from the skipper, the weekly rental cost also includes our comfort package: a final cleaning once the stay is over, butane gas for cooking, linen and towels.
• The deposit for a weekly rental is 900 euro, which is returned at the end of the rental period after deducting the fuel expenses.
• Initial boarding takes place at 16:00h. Final disembarking takes place at the same point the following week at 9:00h.
• If you would like the service of a cook/hostess throughout your stay, you can add this service for 1,750 euro a week (250 euro per day).
• Day rentals don’t include towels, ice, food or drinks.

Cabins o n our luxury catamaran Lagoon 470 in Ibiza

This boat rental Ibiza has a total of 6 cabins, which are distributed as explained below (ideal for 7/8 people + captain), but reaching 10 people + captain when necessary.

• One triple cabin (for petite adults or children) on the starboard mid-bow. This cabin has bunk beds. For two adults, the most comfortable arrangement is one adult per bed, a total of two adults or 3 children.

• One double cabin on the portmid- bow with a double bed for 2 people.
• Two large double cabins, located on the starboard stern and the stern at port side, each with a double queen size bed that fits 2 people.

• Two very small single cabins at the front bows. Disconnected from the rest of the ship, they have exterior entrances from the hatches on top and are regularly used by the crew.
• There is also an additional single bed on the starboard hallway.

The optimum capacity of occupants for this boat is 8 adult guests plus our crew. You can add two more adults by using the additional single bed in the hallway and the bunk bed or the small individual cabin on the bow.

The amplitude of the cabins is remarkable, with 1.6-metre wide beds. Although a bit small- as befits designs that prevailed prior to 2010 where more space was given to the cabin than the bathroom- each cabin has a private bathroom and shower, accessible from the inside of the cabin, and a power drain tank system.
