This is a two for one review as my wife and I both get our hair cut at Yacht Club Salon. My wife got her hair styled a few weeks ago and she looks absolutely stunning. She raved about her stylist, Becca, and just generally had a great experience. I made an appointment online and was contacted right away by Taylor to set up an appointment with Becca. The whole appointment process was super simple. I went in for my appointment today and was greeted when I walked in and got checked in right away . Since it was my first time one of the employees showed me around and the whole salon was really nice (though I fully admit I'm a novice here). At our appointment time Becca came over and introduced herself and we had a consultation about what I was looking for and how much work I usually put into my hair. Becca is the very definition of fun professionalism and did an outstanding job on my hair and was just great to work with. I made sure to set up my next appointment on my way out and I can't wait to go back. If you are on the fence about this place I recommend you set up an appointment and request Becca as your stylist, you won't be disappointed.

Thank you Heidi for the new hair style. As usual you made sure everything was perfect before I walked out the door. I love the new me .. so does my family. You always listen to what I want..and I appreciate your professionalism when you steer me in the right direction. You are just the best!

My day ghter received services for her "wedding hair" for $2100 at The Yacht Club salon by Kathryn, stylist. My daughter's own hair & extensions are unevenly cut, both cut shorter than my daughter asked for, & are multiple colors after the stylist tried to color the extensions with what looks like bleach spots, definitely not the platinum blonde with dark roots she requested. The owner, Heidi, refuses to refund my daughter anything, backs up the stylist's version, & insists that my daughter come in to have her hair looked at & to have it fixed. My daughter is beyond upset & she doesn't trust the salon now! What happened to "the customer is always right"? Has anyone else had this experience there?

Very overpriced $240.00 for color,highlights and cut and had the nerve to charge another $10 to put the products they used on your hair on a gold mirrored tray. I didn't ask for that. I also left a 20 percent tip. I found a brilliant hairstylist in Longmont for half the price. We're not in Hollywood!

It is always such a pleasure coming here to get my hair done :) to begin with, the offering of drinks when you first walk in and the awesome and friendly service initially is great. Then the staff is awesome as well. I always go to Kathryn, who has an immense amount of knowledge and skill in so many different areas when it comes to hair. I could bring her anything and she can do it no problem, and is always mindful of how much money I am willing to spend, as well the amount of work I want to take care of it. Even after three months my hair looks great once she has done something to it, and I have never had a negative experience, nor has she ever messed my hair up. I've had her do everything between eye brow waxes and tints, hair cuts, and some pretty wild color. On top of that, I truly don't think I have ever met anyone who is so knowledgeable when it comes to not only hair, but beauty services in general. I don't ever plan on going anywhere else! I highly recommend Kathryn and this salon every time.

Disaster. Beware. My teen was lectured for 35 min about what "could be done". After 3.5 hours in the chair my daughter left with just awful highlights and a "money piece" that we had to go back another hour for them to add toner to a couple days later, which should have been done in first place. She was charged $ 241.00 for the awfulness and told to "come back" and pay $60 more for a cut!! They also charged her $27 for extra time!! I had an appt with them and absolutely did not keep it after seeing my daughters half ass service! Went down the street and got 2 diff color highlights, shampoo, cut and style all for $166, and no lecture!!!

Seriously worse service I have ever had. Booked an appointment for highlight and lowlight was told when I got there that there not enough time to do the color I wanted. Absolutely ridiculous, I did not throw anything at your stylist I threw your welcome envelope on the counter but way to try and blame this one on the customer

Hi Sara, I am sorry you are frustrated my staff was unable to accommodate your color service this morning. The reservation you made online was for a simple highlight or lowlight service. During the consultation, the look you requested required a full lightening service followed by a lowlight service. Since your reservation was not booked as a custom color we simply did not have the required amount of time available to properly execute this look for you. (This time would be 2x what was reserved) Our stylist offered other looks that would fit in the time frame you reserved, but when you got upset with her, threw an item at her and left , it was clear we should not move forward with your service. I sincerely wish you the best in finding a salon to accommodate your needs. Heidi Casler- Owner

I moved away from Denver about a month ago. I already miss the Yacht Club. Everyone is so friendly! I have unruly curly hair with a mind of its own. Natalie is by far the best stylist I have found to cut curly hair. I wear my hair down more often now. She is also amazing with color. I have a vibrant purple section in my dark brown hair and it looks fantastic. I would occasionally have my hair smoothed out to show off the color (hence the photos) and it always looked perfect. In addition to being an excellent stylist, Natalie is such a fun and sweet person. She's so very personable and I always left the salon smiling!

I've been coming here for a few years now. I came in for a free cut with a full color promotion. I was due for a color and decided to do them both here. The color was simple and quick, but the cut is so choppy and UNEVEN. [PHOTO ATTACHED] There's a long portion of my hair with very thick layers on top blended very poorly. The cut is SO BAD. I would need to cut an additional 3 inches to get it even all the way around. On top of that, they've increased prices. I walked out of here with a 70s style curl that had flat iron indents through the front. I went home and washed it out. I'll never return.

Choppy layers, uneven, hair shape nonexistent.

Great place, they know how to treat their customers! I won't go anywhere else. (Unless my stylist leaves)
