Drogarati Cave : A natural formation in the Grecian landscape, this grandiose wonder could otherwise be regarded as an artistic masterpiece. Filled with stalactites and stalagmites of all hues and shapes, suspended in the cave for centuries now, this unique landmark has an ambiance all of its own: heavenly, to say the least, when reflected by the sunlight. Today, the geological phenomenon’s excellent acoustics and natural domed roof lend itself as the site for one-of-a-kind concerts.

Argostoli : As the vibrant capital of Kefalonia, Argostoli invites visitors to meander through its calm streets, pull up a chair at one of its tasty restaurants, grab a drink at a seafront bar, or peruse the items for sale at its artisan shops and adorable boutiques. Bordering the Ionian Sea, this charming island town promises a night of Grecian culture unlike any other. While there, be sure to escape to the island’s idyllic Gentilini Winery and Vineyards – just outside of Argostoli – and toast to your trip with one of its internationally-acclaimed bottles of wine.

Mount Enos : One of only ten national parks in Greece, Mount Enos is simultaneously a home for Kefalonia’s vast wildlife and shrubbery, and the highest peak on the island. Reaching heights of 1,628 meters, this natural wonder was dubbed “Black Mountain” by the Venetians; symbolic of its dense Kefalonia firs. In addition to its famous firs, this mountain is home to a diverse landscape, balancing its forests with peaks of more rocky, pebbly slopes dotted throughout with rare, colorful flowers.

Melissanthi Cave : The result of karstikopoiisi, a natural chemical process involving the eroding and hollowing of rocks, Melissanthi Cave houses Melissanthi Lake – an underground lake believed to be the worship place of Pan and Nymph Melissanthi. Discovered in 1951, the lake includes an enchanting islet, which archeologists claim was once the site of Pan’s sanctuary. While artifacts discovered on this islet can be found in the Archeological Museum of Argostoli, yacht charter guests are still welcomed to visit Melissanthi Lake, accessible only through an underground tunnel, and stare in awe at its crystal, blue-green waters and naturally-artistic frame.

We chartered many times in Greece in the past years and sometimes appened to have a bad experience regarding the charter company or the boat conditions, and this was often when we chose a big company in a big marina. You are the client number X, and after a quick check in you are left alone to find out the problems of your boat with nobody to complain with, and if the problems are big you only have to wait and waist precious time of your short holiday on a jetty... Then we came across in Kefalonia Sailing and we had one of the best chartering experience ever. Sailing from Kefalonia – August 2018

We had a wonderful one week charter in October sailing from Sami around the Ionian Islands. We chartered San Giorgio, I beautiful 2017 Lagoon 42 which was luxury indeed. We set sale with 2 families on board to explore the Ionian and had the most wonderful holiday visiting beautiful bays with turquoise seas as well as amazing villages like Fiskardo. Spiros was extremely helpful and a pleasure to charter from, always quick to respond to any questions and make sure we had the best possible time, we also had support from the owner which was much appreciated on a couple of technical problems. Best Value Charter So Far

We've sailed many times in the Ionian, historically using a British company. However, our old charter company was starting to get really expensive so we explored some local operators. We struck lucky with Kefalonia Sailing. We chartered Nionios, a Sun Odysey 35 in June 2017. Spiros was fantastic right from our first communication and the team went out of their way to make our trip as enjoyable as possible. We had been warned the boat was a little older than some and weren't too sure what to expect but she was a delightful boat which had clearly been looked after and we had some fantastic sailing. But it was the little touches that made things memorable. Solar panels meant we could run the fridge 24 hours a day. Electric fans in the cabins ensured comfortable nights. As we sail with our daughter (who was just over two years old on this trip) both these factors were very welcome. Spiros had also provided netting round the guard rails and packed some kids toys and a toddler's life jacket in the lockers. They also accommodated our request to pick the boat up in one location and drop it off in a different one. I rarely give reviews but have no hesitation in recommending Kefalonia Sailing to anyone. They are a reliable, friendly team who provide great value for money and go the extra mile to make sure you have the best possible time. Mr — August 2019

NO FORGETTING AMNESIA We set off from Agios Efimia, Kefalonia, circumnavigated Ithaki, calling in at some interesting anchorages before sailing to Atoro and then to Kastos before returning via Meganissi Island and a memorable afternoon sail down Steno Ithakis in a rising wind. The yacht, which was called “Amnesia” was anything but unforgettable. The boat was a Cyclades 43.4 Cruiser with (thankfully) slab reefing and roomy accommodation down below. The all-important anchor windlass had recently been replaced and Georgios had equipped the boat for every conceivable circumstance and thankfully nothing went wrong. We had very light winds (apart from the last day of the sailing trip) and had to motor for fairly long distances at times with absolutely no trouble from the engine. This sailing area never ceases to surprise me in its beauty and variety and, despite the busy conditions in some of the harbours we were always able to secure a comfortable berth. We look forward to many more years of sailing with Kefalonia Sailing Holidays and thank Spiros, Bouchra and Georgios. With best wishes from the Wood Family (August 2019)

Excellent Service. We had a very good experience with this company. We rented a Catamaran Lagoon 42 and the check in was very good. We had a problem with the engine of our dingy and they solved it by sending a mechanic within 4 hours who repaired the engine within 1 hour. This was outstanding. The check out process was fast, friendly and without any trouble. Overall an A+ experience for Mr. Spiros and his team at Seven Sailing & Tourism in Kefalonia.
