What year is the hull and motor? What is your max speed and rpm? What is you cruise speed and rpm? What is your fuel mileage?  

wow..u dont see these used very often. why the sale? i love mine. good price as well. i got mine new at the end of 07 and have 500 hours so far. i fish 30 miles off shore or the flats. if anyone has any questions i may be able to help answer. Gavin you should know this rig well!!

Hull is 08 Motor is 07 WOT is 5800 I've seen 37 or 38 top speed Cruise is around 28 or so Seems like average mpg is around 3+ with the jackplate you can "dial" it in for the best effiency. Reason for sale is it gets used very little.  

man i would of guessed it would get more speed than that. im running a 115 yammie 4 stroke with a 4 blade. i turn 5800 and hit 30 knots. depending on load and seas  

Suzuki 140 is a very dependable and proven motor. Pretty much bulletproof but not the most "powerful" 140 out there. Warranty on motor until January 10, 2014  

Overkill: Where is the boat located and best time to come see it, Is this a 4-stroke Suzuki and is the trailer aluminum? Phone number would help! Tom  

It is under my Dauphin Island house. Trailer is Owen and Son galvanized, I have recently put a "ladder" on the front of it. Motor is four stroke. Cell is best - 251.402.0408  

Half priced over new ones and this one has lots of extras.... I'm kinda fond of the small cat boats and want some more information details on the electronics, transducer,vhf, bottom machine, antenna, wiring, fuse block etc. Can you post or send pictures? would also like to know about the fuel filter setup ? does it have a racor ? can you post or email pics of the fuel filter location and plumbing ? and the battery setup , location, battery switch etc also, I'm not familiar with the permatrim ? what is it ? is it a factory setup or aftermarket add-on ? why is it needed ? are the sposons foam filled ? do they have a bilge pump in each sponson and a drain plug ? are all the bilge pumps and baitwell pumps in working order ? does it have a bow mount trolling motor ? do you find it useful ? is the construction solid glass or core ? what type/kind of core if cored? what type of fuel tank ? poly or aluminum ? where is it located? and is it accesible? the trailer is a single axle ? Does the sale include all the required cost guard equipment ? fire ext, flares, life jackets, anchort and rode, dock lines, fenders does the prop ventilate or does the little suzuki ever overheat, because of the single engine cat design ? how does it handle in a following sea ? is it quirky in a following sea ? on the #'s can you go over the cruise speed rpm and fuel consumption again ? fuel tank size ? is there any bangs, dings, scratches, or gel-coat blemishes in the hull sides or decks or below the water line? Hope I'm not asking too much ! I just like all the details  

I'll get more pics when I get to Dauphin Island. Gps is Garmin 498 combo unit. Transom mount transducer, Stainless antenna, Lowrance VHF with built-in FM radio. Battery under rear corner seat with battery switch -- Fuel filter is as well. Permatrim is a one piece aluminum "whale tail" that the Aussies perfected. It is worth the cost. It as well as the four bladed prop, the hydralic lift and offset it provides is what makes this single engine cat work so well. So well in fact that this boat was set up as a demo boat....it has the "quirks" worked out. No handling issues. None. This boat has foam and is not designed to sink. But, what boats are? It is NOT like a Whaler or Twin Vee - solid foam filled. No wood used in construction. I do not have a trolling motor but the cat has been designed for one. Rigging tube is in place. 30 Gallon poly fuel tank is mounted under the console. Baitwell pump and system works flawless. Bilge pumps have auto switches. I have never had to use them. Both work or I will replace them. Motor has never overheated. Never any issue - never. We can have your mechanic hook up computer... Cruise speed is basically 32 mph. It is a great riding boat. Top speed is 40. Fuel burn at cruise is roughly 3-3.5 mpg. All ground tackle, safety equipment, fenders, rode, anchor, etc. stays with the boat.

Kostroma: The home of Russia’s Snegurochka, the snow maiden

Who is Snegurochka?

Snegurochka is the granddaughter and assistant of “Ded Moroz” also known as Father Frost, Russia’s version of Santa Claus. While Santa Claus is rumored to have residences in Finland and the North Pole, Ded Moroz is a proud patriot and maintains a home in Veliky Ustyug in the Vologda Region. His estate is a major tourist attraction receiving more than 200,000 guests a year. See  Veliky Ustyug: The Russian Santa's Home .

Snegurochka does not have roots in Slavic mythology and only came into being in the late 19th century. However, to many Snegurochka appears to be as eternal as Russia itself.  

Snegurochka is born

There were predecessors to Ostrovsky’s version. Alexander Afanasyev, considered the Russian equivalent of the Brothers Grimm, wrote a story in 1869 about a character called “Snegurka.” The tale tells involves the poor peasants Ivan and Marya, who build a doll made of snow that comes to life.

In Ostrovsky’s version Snegurochka is the daughter of Spring the Beauty and Father Frost. She longs for human companionship, but lacks the capacity to love. Her mother bestows this ability on her, but as she is made of snow, she melts when her heart warms after she falls in love.

By the reign of Nicholas II, Snegurochka had become associated with winter holiday celebrations. She was part of Christmas events until the Soviet Union banned religious holidays in the years after the Revolution. She was revived when New Year’s became the major winter holiday, replacing Christmas, in 1935. Since then Snegurochka, who had now become Father Frost’s granddaughter (instead of his daughter), has become a mainstay of holiday parties all over Russia. Along with her grandfather, she usually arrives bearing gifts.  

Snegurochka’s Kostroma 

The hotel has a special New Year’s package from Dec. 31 until Jan. 2, with a packed itinerary that includes a New Year’s party, a 1980s dance party the following night, a traditional New Year’s Eve sauna, a visit to the Ice Palace and a special lunch featuring old Kostroma recipes. This package is aimed at families and childcare services will be provided on Dec. 31. It is safe to assume that Snegurochka and her grandfather will join the party:  hotel-snegurochka.ru/2015 .

The shop, Souvenirs from Snegurochka , features designer linens, handmade toys and handicrafts traditional to the area.

There is also the recently opened Snegurochka's residence . She offers tours and different interactive programs everyday from  Wednesday  until  Sunday. Children  can hold their birthday parties there and classes are offered on everything from making dolls to holiday decorations.  

Snegurochka becomes a global star

Nationally, she is linked with the city’s identity as one of the lead characters in the Russian National Dance Show “Kostroma” in Moscow. Popular among foreigners, it tells the story of ancient Rus’ and placing Snegurochka at its center has done much to cloud her humble provincial origins. See  www.nationalrussianshow.ru

Famous Slovenian poet Svetlana Makarovič released a fairy tale based on the character titled, “Snegurochka” affirming her lifelong love for Russian children’s tales. In 2004 American artist Ruth Sanderson, who specializes in illustrated Christmas books, released a book called, "The Snow Princess" , also based on you know who.

How to get there 

By car: Take highway M8 from Moscow to Yaroslavl and from there follow A113 to Kostroma. Approximate travel time is 4 hours. It's important to leave Moscow at the right time to avoid the usual traffic jams.

By train: Night trains depart daily from Yaroslavsky Station. Tickets for coupe seats cost about 2000 rubles ($38) one-way.
