About Sea Owl

This sophisticated bespoke motor yacht has been built for experienced owners who are very family-oriented and this is reflected in the facilities on board for the younger generation, which range from a magical array of toys and games to a thematic decorative scheme. There are two dedicated children’s cabins on board Sea Owl as well as the owners’ stateroom and three guest suites.

Inspired by literature, both fictional and not, SEA OWL offers a myriad of unique details that set her apart from all other yachts. Fairytale-inspired elements accentuate her walls while replicas of maps adorn ceilings; her bookshelves are lined with prose that comes to life as you move through the yacht.

The incredible Tree of Life wraps around the central staircase from top to bottom and is a custom, hand-carved Brazilian Mahogany masterpiece with never-ending details to delight the eyes. This creative interior décor even extends to the custom painted elevator accessing every deck of the yacht. Every room is a distinct treat, which in total represents one of the most highly customized and most expensive Feadships ever built in the size range.

This Feadship’s comfortable full-beam main salon is decorated in light neutral colors and features sumptuous furnishings. Flanked by windows and featuring fully opening sliding glass doors aft, natural light floods the space and offers guests impressive views. SEA OWL’s dining area features a large round dining table that sits under a stunning Dale Chihuly Venetian glass chandelier with a beautiful muraled backdrop. Three VIP suites all feature unique themes to encourage guests to enjoy the fantasy. There is an additional nanny/staff cabin. The superyacht's bridge deck is a warm, welcoming family hub, with a classroom for learning at sea with its own fold-out balcony. This deck also features a large gym with an adjoining massage room and matching fold-out balcony. The superyacht's custom Hodgdon 28-foot (8.6m) and 27-foot (8.4m) tenders, named Hatchling and Fledgling, are discreetly hidden in the forward garage bays and launched through two gull-wing doors. Once launched the tenders can access the other yacht toys via the fold-down swim platform and lazarette area that can be setup as a waterside beach club. There is an additional 17-foot (5.2m) RIB stored on the foredeck. SEA OWL is a collaborative effort featuring the design talents of the Burger Design Team, Andrew Winch Design and Vripack. Exceptional interior and exterior spaces work together to create a custom yacht like no other and one that is sure to attract attention wherever she cruises.

Located forward on the main deck, the owner’s suite opens off a circular foyer into a private office area, then into the spacious stateroom, ensuite bath and large, walk-in closets. The room is finished in dark teak recessed wall paneling, distressed-teak flooring and custom area rugs designed especially for this space.

The main salon, dining area and sky lounge flow easily from one area to the other by way of a curved staircase, crowned with a skylight allowing sunlight to penetrate the center spaces of the vessel. The main stairwell handrail is made of woven leather with brushed nickel fittings, and at the top of the stairs is a custom etched glass balustrade. The leather's texture provides an elegant contrast to the satin finish of the dark teak wall panels.

Below the main deck are four large guest staterooms, each with walls of honey teak recessed wall paneling and oversized port lights, which allow for expansive views and sunlight-filled rooms. Each stateroom has an ensuite bath which has been individualized through the color of the exotic stone materials selected. The floors are accented with custom borders of intricately inlaid patterns of contrasting stone.

Exterior spaces aboard SEA OWL provide for formal alfresco dining on two separate decks around custom-designed and built 84" diameter tables. The upper deck features a hot tub and outdoor wicker sun lounges with individual canopies. There are several areas with built-in seating and sun pads for lounging, reading or watching TV.

The spacious crew accommodations are accented in the same naturally finished honey teak used in other areas of the vessel. The area includes a large lounge area and separate laundry facilities. Each of the four double crew staterooms includes an ensuite bath. A captain’s stateroom, finished in dark teak, is situated aft of the pilothouse and also includes an ensuite bath.

Redundant mechanical systems and reliable Caterpillar power provide SEA OWL a cruising speed of 14 knots.
