What a wonderful trip! Ernest, K and Felipe are such an awesome crew! I had such an amazing sailing experience! It's not a bottom of the barrel party cruise. It's a class act sailing experience (with some snacks and drinks). I cannot say enough how much we enjoyed ourselves. I will certainly be back next year!!!

For $69 per person, the Sail and Splash on the Spirit of Fort Lauderdale was a great experience and an amazing way to spend an afternoon. Captain E and Sam made us feel welcome and prioritized our experience from the moment we checked in. You couldn't ask for a more friendly and knowledgeable crew. An ICW cruise, an Atlantic Ocean sail, with some snorkeling fun to round out the experience, what more can you ask for?!?

Had a great time here with my family over Thanksgiving week. Total of 10 people on a ship that could fit 40. We had a lot of space. All the employees were friendly and fun! We got to listen to our playlists through Spotify and picked up some high speeds! A bit disappointed there wasn't the trampoline as advertised on the website, but overall a great time. Be advised, it's a beer and wine bar on board but the prices are extremely fair.

I’ve gone on this excursion at least 15 or more times over the years and it never disappoints! I would give 10 stars if I could! Both the day sail and sunset sail are the perfect way to spend a couple hours and see Fort Lauderdale from a different perspective. Captain Blue and Eric could not have been nicer and Felipe got us booked and made sure we had everything we needed. Love the personal touch we always feel with this group. They go out of their way to make sure everyone is having fun. I tell everyone I know to go on this trip when in the area and I will definitely be back again! Thanks!! 😃

What should i bring with me?

We provide all Coast Guard required safety gear on all of our boats as  it is not necessary to bring very much with you, however, below is a list of items we suggest you bring.

Towels, sunglasses, sunscreen, long sleeve shirt and hat for sun protection, snacks and plenty of water!

Is there a maximum capacity on each boat?

Yes, each of our boats has a limit on the number of people allowed on the boat is usually between 6-13 max by law.

Can I bring my own food or alcohol?

Yes, you sure can all types of food & drinks are welcome.

What Safety Practices Are In Place?

The team at Anchor places  safety as one of our highest priorities . In fact, we instruct our captains to keep safety at the top of their concerns while out on the water. This means they may be limited in what they can do for you based on the safety of the situation. Essentially, they will do what they can to keep you safe. 

Besides this, we ensure each ride is safe. This includes watching out for things like occupancy limits and the weather. We also follow all relevant boating laws. 

What If the Weather Is Bad?

In many cases, bad weather in Fort Lauderdale blows over pretty quickly. You can simply wait for the weather to pass and still get the most out of your boat rental. 

If the weather doesn’t pass and we determine that you cannot take out the yacht for the day, your rental will be canceled. If this happens, we’ll issue you a voucher for the value of the experience you booked. You can use this voucher to book a similar experience within 365 days of the experience you initially planned.

Once you confirm your reservation, your broker will process your payment.

• If you are booking for a single day and your reservation is confirmed more than 7 days in advance, a deposit of either $1,000 USD or 50% of the total cost of the reservation (whichever is greater) is processed immediately in order to hold the yacht. Once your embarkation date is 7 days away, the remainder of the amount due is processed.
• If you are booking for a single day and your reservation is made 7 days or less in advance, the total price of your reservation is processed immediately.
• If you are booking for a multi-day charter and your reservation is confirmed more than 30 days in advance, a deposit of 50% of the cost of the yacht is processed immediately in order to hold the yacht. Once your embarkation date is 30 days away, the other 50% is collected for the price of the yacht, plus the APA, plus the taxes due.

Terms of refunds are dictated by the Charter Agreement. Generally, once a payment is collected, it is non-refundable. In certain circumstances, as dictated by the Charter Agreement, credits can be provided so you will be able to enjoy your yacht charter at a future date that is convenient for you.

Guests aboard the Spirit of Lauderdale enjoy lounging upon the nets suspended along the front of the vessel, a covered seating area, service bar, stairway to the sea and is the only sail catamaran in Florida with a water slide available. Come aboard our beautiful 40-foot long and very spacious 22-foot beam power catamaran. It is the best all-purpose vessel anywhere!

Tranquility with its innovative catamaran structure provides the most comfortable, smoothest ride of any power boat ever! the slender hulls pierce and penetrate the waves, which pass, unmolested, under the elevated superstructure, allowing for the smoothest ride possible. Guests aboard the Tranquility enjoy a covered seating area, service bar, as well as a blue tooth sound system to play your favorite music. This vessel is the only one in our fleet that can pull right up on the beach and is completely ADA compliant with a restroom large enough to accommodate a wheelchair. Things to know

Allowed on boat, cancellation policy strict.

• Free cancellations until 30 days before the booking start time.
• 50% refund for cancellations between 15-30 days before the booking start time.
• Cancellations within 14 days of the booking start time are non-refundable.

Commercial owner

This boat belongs to a Commercial Owner, an independent boat rental company. A Commercial Owner is an independent, Boatsetter-approved boat rental company who provides their own insurance to their guests.

Security deposit

A security deposit hold (not a charge) will be placed on your credit card 48 hours before your booking starts to cover any incidental damage that may occur during your rental. This hold is released 48 hours after the booking is complete, if no claims are made. The security deposit amount for the boat you are booking will be outlined during the check-out process.

Captain info

If requested, the owner can provide a list of available captains for bareboat charter or the renter can use their own qualified captain. If the boat is being time chartered, the owner will provide the Captain.
