Welcome aboard New England’s Premier Private Sailing Charter. Captains Linda Perry Riera and Bob Damiano welcome you aboard Argon for an exhilarating or relaxing sail on Narragansett Bay! The sailing here is some of the best in the world, and would love to share it with you! We offer sightseeing harbor tours aboard our high performance Tartan 4000 Sloop Argon. We’re proud that we’ve turned several first-time sailors into life-long sailing enthusiasts after sailing with us.

Any Sailing Experience Level

Whether you’ve never been on the water before or are an experienced sailor, we’re sure you will have a memorable time. Our captained charters are private for your group only – the whole ship is yours! We encourage our passengers to become part of the crew by participating in the sailing and we are happy to share our experience and teach new sailors some basics along the way. Trim sails, or take the helm or just relax as we enjoy the bay among the racing sloops with Newport Bridge as the backdrop.

Day (or Longer) Sails

If you’re looking to add a quick trip on the water to your visit, we can do 3 to 5 hour day charters. Want something more adventurous? Want to experience a taste of the cruising lifestyle? We can do overnight excursions stopping in one of many beautiful anchorages around the bay. Want a little more adventure? How about a longer overnight trip to Block Island or Cuttyhunk Island. These two destinations offer the possibility of a one-way cruise where you do the return trip the easy way on a Ferry!

We are a couple of sailing geeks who love introducing others to this amazing experience. We tailor the sailing to your comfort and experience, and teach you as much as you want to learn along the way. If you prefer to just sit back, relax and take in the sights, that’s fine too. Please join us for a sail around Narragansett Bay as we share our love of sailing.

Sunset Cruise Took some friends on the sunset cruise and had a blast! Linda and Bob are the nicest folks you’ll ever meet. Some of us wanted to help sail and others just wanted to sit back and enjoy the ride. We went around Boston harbor and they showed us different points of interest, it was so beautiful and peaceful out on the water. They told us about their beautiful boat and its easy to see how passionate they are about sailing and welcomed all of our questions (we were a curious bunch). I found it absolutely thrilling and exhilarating. It’s the first time I completed a “bucket list” item before I knew it should be on the bucket list

Boston from the Harbor My parents came to visit and were delighted to experience Boston from the Harbor side. We had a three hour trip and got all the way around Spectacle Island. Bob and Linda were lovely and very knowledgeable. We all got to steer and help orient the main sail. My parents are definitely coming back to sail again and some of my friends were interested in a expedition as well.

Excited about sailing We are back in California and Pia was back on the water this morning in her beginning sailing class. She’s definitely a lot more excited now about sailing. Her time at the wheel with you made a big impression on her. And you and Bob’s teamwork made a big impression on me as well… The two of you were very hospitable and knowledgeable and were very eager to share your boat and your passion for and knowledge of sailing. The two of you would be great sailing instructors, especially for couples.

Charter begins Friday at 5:00 pm and finishes on a Friday by 11:00 am. Prices include 10’ dinghy w/ motor, insurance, tax, 8 pillows, bath towels & bottom linens. You bring food, drinks, paper products & top blankets/sleeping bags. Captain or sailing instructor can be added at $3,000+ per week.

A dream come true for Captain and crew! The Jenneau 439 we chartered from Bareboat Sailing was comfortable and perfectly suited for our group. “What a fantastic vacation”. We just returned from a wonderful vacation aboard the Beneteau 45 we chartered. There were two families onboard, but with 4 cabins there was plenty of room for everyone. The boat was equipped with all the electronics we could need and the chart plotter was especially useful during our week. I took my mom on a special dinner cruise for her birthday and she loved it! Although the tickets were not cheap, we got a discount with a birthday coupon so it ended up being about $100 each. The cruise was definitely worth the money as my mom loved dressing up and seeing the Newport views. The food was generous but the quality is similar to other touristy menus (not quite restaurant quality but still great!) The staff was amazing and the DJ shouted out birthdays. My mom loved having the dance floor to party and the deck was beautiful for pictures and enjoying the views. I would love to return for the christmas lights which would be even prettier. Thank you City Cruises for a great birthday!

I enjoyed the brunch cruise on Saturday morning with City Cruises by Hornblowers aboard Endless Dreams. I went with my family and we all had an excellent time! Our special occasion was a family reunion/ early Thanksgiving celebration. We were seated on the upper deck and had a beautiful view on the water and outdoor scenery! We were also serenaded by a musician playing the saxophone and played classical music. We were seated by the window and everything was perfectly spaced out. It was buffet style so we had to go down the stairs to reach the buffet. They also provided bottomless Champagne and juices that was included. One of the best parts of the cruise was the top floor because you felt the nice air breeze and had an nonobstructed view of the ocean! It also had tables and chairs and games! They had tic tac toe, jenga and corn hole. It's a great spot to take photos! At the end of our cruise we saw some dolphins! I do want to give a shoutout to our amazing server, Madison! She was so sweet and attentive to me and my family and always checked in to see if we needed anything. My brother said that it was the best service that he has ever had and that she made his day. Parking: I think there is street parking but it is a very busy street so I recommend paying $10 to park in the lot to play it safe I highly recommend coming early to make sure that you arrive on time for departure! It was definitely a very memorable experience!

My wife and hi were on the endless dreams new years eve cruise. I left my IVY PARK work jacket on board and it has been two weeks and no one knows 8fvthe is a lost and found on the boat. It's a very special jacket given to me by my work. It is so hard to contact them and talk to someone one the boat. I am so afraid that it is long gone. The only help is through the booking people, which then can only email them with no response.

We took a party of 9 on the City Experiences dinner cruise to see the Christmas lights. What a let down! We had the dinner cruise on the HORNBLOWER! This boat was not designed for dinner cruises at all. Climbing stairs in heels is not how we imagined our cruise and especially at the prices they charged. Their other boat is much better. I paid extra for window seating and come to find out everyone has window seating! They ran out of food at the buffet, they ran out of glassware and were serving guests in plastic cups. I reached out to them via chat, email, phone call to request either a refund or credit for the extra charge for window seating and NO RESPONSE. Buyer be aware and ask if the dinner cruise will be on the HORNBLOWER if so, avoid it.

I had a great time with my friends for brunch with City Experience Newport Beach, and we enjoyed every second of it. The overall experience was amazing; from the beginning of boarding, everyone greeted us and welcomed us with champagne which was unlimited, all the food we could eat and it was all fresh and delicious. Staff were very polite and friendly, the entertainment was smooth music great DJ, and the cleanliness and freshness of the yacht, I loved it all and can't wait to return.

We went on the 7pm Friday evening dinner cruise, we have done it before. Not the greatest experience. Our waiter was nice but not all there. It was as if he was gone all the time getting high or something. He brought our bread but no butter. We noticed everyone else got butter with the hot bread. it looks us about 45 minutes to track him down and get some butter, by then the bread was cold of course. Then everyone (other waiters) got their entrees. Ours was brought by another person fro the kitchen about 1 hour after the rest. it was as if the kitchen had it all along and finally decided it should get delivered. our Waiters name was Kevin. He claimed to be on the management team. huh? Kevin also seemed to be wanting us to buy extra food and drinks that were very expensive and we did not want after paying over $322 for an all inclusive dinner cruise. this extra food and drink thing was a bit over the top. We will not be doing this again, after at least 5-6 previous times it is now over. I give the food we had a 6 out of 10.

if you like a wedding reception where the music is so loud that you can't speak to the person seated next to you then you'll love this dinner cruise. Add to the fun that you don't know anyone at this party except your date. everyone on the boat had finished cocktails and appetizers before we finally asked why there was no server for our table.
