Tyler & Sara's Wedding at Lake Quivira Yacht Club

The only thing more magical than wedding day sunset photos are wedding day sunset photos at the lake. The lighting at Tyler and Sara's wedding was so dreamy and we are loving the way these photos turned out! Sara's was an absolutely stunning bride and truly looked like she had stepped off the cover of a bridal magazine.

We loved getting to know these two at their engagement session last fall and then celebrating with them this August at Lake Quivira! The Yacht Club was gorgeous as always and the reception was so much fun! I mean, who doesn't love food trucks?! Tyler and Sara, we hope you love your photos and videos and we wish you a lifetime of happiness together!

"June 7th, 1930, was a red letter day for Quivira. On that date the big lake was opened to fishing, with privileges limited to Quivirans"

"The aim of this organization is the entertainment of its members and the general improvement and regulations of fishing at Quivira" - The March 1938 Quiviran 

Those goals were created by then President E. L. "Red" Hoth, Vice President R. Jack Reeve, and Secretary/Treasurer C. E. Marshall. It was said that after many years of good fishing, it began to wane in the late 30's. That prompted the membership to create our club as stewards and guardians of the fishing, and the lake itself.

Their creation and vision lives on today, 83 years later, with the club they founded still alive and active. We believe these goals that our Founding Fisherman established are timeless.
