Built in 2000, Island Girl is the ideal luxury yacht for kicking back and relaxing whilst on charter, showcasing clever use of space with an artful combination of integrated systems and luxurious features, she's a crowd-pleaser for sure.

Guest Accommodation

Island Girl offers guest accommodation for up to 8 guests in 4 suites comprising a master suite, two double cabins and one twin cabin. The supremely spacious full beam master suite features extensive storage space provided by the dressing room benefits from a his and her bathroom. There are 5 beds in total, including 1 king, 2 queen and 2 singles. She is also capable of carrying up to 5 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht charter experience.

Built with a GRP hull and GRP superstructure, she benefits from a semi-displacement hull to provide exceptional seakeeping and impressive speeds. Powered by twin MTU engines, she comfortably cruises at 16 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 24 knots with a range of up to 1,100 nautical miles from her 20,818 litre fuel tanks at cruising speed. With a shallow draft of 1.68m/5'6" Island Girl can anchor closer to coves and sheltered bays overnight.

Set against the backdrop of your chosen cruising ground, you and your guests can enjoy fun on the water with the collection of water toys and accessories aboard Island Girl. Guests can experience the thrill and adventure of riding one of the WaveRunners. Additionally, there are waterskis that are hugely entertaining whether you are a beginner or a seasoned pro. In addition there are wakeboards so guests can show off at speed. If that isn't enough Island Girl also features kayaks, fishing equipment, bikes and snorkelling equipment. Chef/Stew Liz Wilkins Cathrina Wilkens, more affectionately known as Lizzie, was raised in South Africa with two obsessions; cooking and the ocean. Before she could read she could wield a potato peeler. She loved being in the kitchen with Mom and Grandma, cooking up a storm and preserving all the fruits of their farm in Pretoria. She says, “Grandma’s kitchen opened first thing in the morning when Grandpa’s feet hit the ground. The daily menu was fit for a 5-star restaurant. School holidays, she traded her apron for a swimsuit and the beaches of Durban, where she swam in the ocean from morning till evening with brothers, sisters and Dad. Lizzie has been wielding that potato peeler in restaurants, hotels, lodges and yachts ever since. She has been an apprentice to top chefs around the world. She has traveled throughout Europe, England, America, Africa, Oman and the Caribbean to assimilate flavors and techniques. She explains her innovative ‘Liz Style’, “I take a taste of all the places I have been and fuse that into one dish. I love Asian flavors so there is always a hint of Asia in my dishes. The pilothouse is fully functional and updated in every sense. A fully adjustable Stidd pilot chair is centered on the mid-cabin dash, where all new(2022) Furuno TZ Touch 3, 16" screens(2) are mounted in a flush arrangement in perfect line of sight. Caterpillar engine monitors are ergonomically mounted below and closer to Captain, as well as remainder of controls and VHF radios. If you are looking for that certain boat, I would ask you to consider Island Girl. No expense was spared in the refit of this yacht. I searched long and hard to find an un-molested, low-hour pedigree boat and set on a mission to make her the nicest one. This was all done from late summer of 2022 until June 2023.

The Awlgrip exterior paint job was done by Cable Marine in Ft. Lauderdale. Every surface outside the boat was painted; the new radar, digital compass, satellite domes, aft deck shower enclosure, hard top, davit, EVERYTHING was painted. You won't watch anything start to yellow on this boat.

She looks like she is porcelain-finished. All this and much more combine to create a beautiful yacht that shows new.

The systems all work as they should. The options, as well as the upgrades, set her apart from the competition. She is a pleasure to run, dock, and entertain on, as well as fun to show. I could go on and on but hopefully, you start to get a feel for how special I think she is. These particular items I've listed below are part of what I think makes this boat such a joy to own, operate, and maintain from a captain/owner's perspective. I assure you the interior is just as nice and is just as well-appointed. Please spend some time going over the listing to better appreciate the interior as well as her equipment and the amount of work and money that went into making her what she is.

“I love Prada. I think Prada is very me,” Clark told  GQ Sports  prior to walking the carpet. “Prada’s never dressed a WNBA player or an NBA player for the draft, so it’s very fun.”  

The two-time Naismith National Player of the Year was styled by Adri Zgirdea Toth, founder of AZSN Studio. And opting for Prada was an easy decision. “The look is elegant, classic, timeless, with a little extra sparkle, just like Caitlin,” Toth told Marie Claire . “Dressing an athlete for the draft is a first for Prada, and this is obviously a first for Caitlin, too. Both are at the forefront of what they do—it’s almost too perfect.” 

During Monday’s draft, it was announced that Clark would be heading to the Indiana Fever to start her professional career. The rookie athlete made headlines when she became the NCAA’s all-time leading scorer in men’s and women’s major college basketball history. “I dreamed of this moment since I was in second grade, and it’s taken a lot of hard work, a lot of ups and downs, but more than anything, just trying to soak it in,” Clark told CBS News .

The Iowa senior could’ve played another season in the division, however, in February, she shared a statement via X that she would be entering the 2024 WNBA Draft instead. Of course, Clark has already broken a record in her first hours as a professional women’s basketball player. Hours after she officially joined the Fever, TMZ reported that Clark’s WNBA jersey had already sold out on sports retailer Fanatics. Maybe fans will want to cop her Prada co-ord, too.
