Learn About Leonard DiCaprio’s Yacht: Topaz

When you think about Leonardo DiCaprio, images of an eco-conscious crusader who is out to improve the health of the planet may first emerge. Recent rumors that Leo plans to attend the 2018 World Cup events in Brazil aboard a yacht seem a bit contradictory because of the pollution that these floating luxury hotels churn into the air and water.

While some have criticized him for indulging in a bit of heaven at the expense of the planet, if he wasn’t doing it, somebody else would be. At least he’s making an attempt to help the situation when he can. All of that aside, we were curious to find out more about Leonardo DiCaprio’s Yacht, and here is what we discovered.

Leo doesn’t own the yacht

DiCaprio hasn’t actually purchased a yacht. Instead, he rented it from owner, Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Mansour is a billionaire politician who is the current prime minister of the United Arab Emirates.

The mega yacht was custom built according to his grand and luxurious specifications and named the Topaz. Until recently, the interior of the yacht has remained a well-guarded secret. We’ve learned some juicy tidbits that we’re happy to share.

Specifications of the Topaz

The super yacht measures a total of 453 feet in length with a cost of more than $200 million in USD to build and an estimated value of $678 million. This isn’t the biggest yacht that Mr. DiCaprio has chartered, but it’s likely to be one of the most luxurious.

The yacht is powered by four M90 diesel engines which generate approximately 48,000 horse power. The ship made its maiden launch in 2012 and according to sources, DiCaprio also rented it in 2014 just 2 years into its service run.

The Topaz is rumored to be one of the most extravagant yachts in the world . It offers smooth sailing with the installation of zero speed stabilizers. It comes fully outfitted with lifts that ferry guests comfortably among the eight deck levels to the host of amenities that are scattered throughout the massive vessel.

It is decked out in full luxury and comfort with a cinema, two hot tubs, air conditioning throughout, three swimming pools, a fitness hall, underwater lights, an ample sized conference room and a well hidden interior design that is left up to our imaginations.

Leo won’t be making the trip alone. We’ve learned that he has a list of guests that will accompany him on thee yacht as he enjoys the football tournament in Brazil.

There were 21 of his friends, all of millionaire status mind you, invited to enjoy the amenities. It’s been reported that DiCaprio and his pals hopped a jet and flew to Rio de Janeiro to arrive one day prior to kick off of the Brazil World cup.

The controversy the rental has stirred

While some are happy that Leo had a nice luxury vacation , others are upset about the seeming nose thumb to environmentalists who think his actions are careless.

There has been a degree of judgment and sentiments of disappointment to outright damnation sent his way. Activists point out that Leo’s private jet that made thee 8000 mile trip left a hefty carbon footprint. This is besides the emissions put out from the luxury mega yacht. They’re citing his actions as not being environmentally responsible.

Why the uproar?

The backlash has come after the fact that DiCaprio made a plea to viewers to work with one another to help fight climate change when he accepted his first ever Oscar award. DiCaprio’s involvement in Hollywood environmentalism can’t be denied.

He dedicates time to fly here and there to pick up awards for his contributions to help clean up the environment, but when he flies to and fro, his carbon footprint grows.

There has been a volley of insults and comments disapproving of Leo’s actions, but isn’t this how Hollywood environmentalism works? It’s kinda tough to get to Brazil without flying or chartering a boat to take you there.

It’s a drama that has been ongoing since Leo’s plans were first revealed but it seems that he could at least score a few points for encouraging us all to make some kind of effort.

It’s not easy being the center of attention and there are times when best intentions draw a backlash of negativism, despite the fact that most of us rely on some type of carbon emitting transportation resources.

Leonardo Dicaprio Loves Him a Yacht Party, But Does He Actually Own a Luxury Boat?

Hollywood superstar Leonardo DiCaprio may have featured in the popular film Titanic , but he certainly hasn't let that scare him away from spending some time on massive boats. In fact, Leo gets spotted quite frequently on luxury yachts . But, does the Oscar-winning actor actually own a megayacht, or a regular yacht, for that matter?

Turns out, he doesn't. He still enjoys the yachting lifestyle though, thanks to the variety of different yacht charter companies out there. Leo's no billionaire , but with his multimillion-dollar net worth, he could definitely go out and buy a decent-sized yacht. That said, renting one is a much more affordable route, especially since that avoids the cost of upkeep.

Back in 2012, Leo brought out Wolf of Wall Street co-star Jonah Hill to enjoy the experience of a rented luxury vessel. Of course, what's a yacht party without beautiful models? Hill was no doubt blown away by the whole experience, but it seemed like just another day to DiCaprio.

In 2013, it was reported that DiCaprio rented a yacht for a week for the cool price of $410,000. Considering the boat later sold for $42 million, it doesn't seem like too bad of a deal. That said, DiCaprio garnered even more attention after he rented the sixth-largest superyacht in the world. The Topaz is worth approximately $527 million, featuring eight different decks, a swimming pool, jacuzzi, movie theater, and two helicopter pads. Apparently, Leo brought 21 of his closest millionaire friends along to enjoy the World Cup. Eventually, they ditched the yacht for a private jet straight to Rio de Janeiro in order to catch the kick off in Brazil.

In 2020, pictures obtained by Page Six, and later posted all over social media, showed DiCaprio and his girlfriend Camila Morrone heading out on a yacht to celebrate her 23rd birthday. Other stars such as Olympic snowboarder Shaun White and actors Kevin Connolly and Lukas Haas were in attendance as they sailed toward Malibu to enjoy some fun in the sun.

Now, Leo has actually been called out a few times by fans. He's a strong advocate for the environment and climate change, but his words seem to have less of an impact the more he gets spotted on these massive yachts. They don't exactly have the smallest carbon footprint, but this could also act as part of the reason that he doesn't personally own one.

Regardless, Leonardo DiCaprio undoubtedly loves living the superyacht life from time to time. The guy's had a wildly successful career, so I don't blame him for enjoying some of the finer things in life. I'm just going to go ahead and add "attending a DiCaprio yacht party" to my bucket list.

I Salute Leonardo DiCaprio and His Big-Ass Yacht

The man is having the summer vacation of our dreams.

There are two things about Leonardo DiCaprio that I know will always be true: 1/ He’s a man of leisure, and 2/ He's a man of luxury. When DiCaprio not starring in a blockbuster, or dating a young model, the 48-year-old actor can often be found unwinding in a wildly glamorous manner.

This week, he did exactly that, while cruising around the Amalfi coast in his private yacht. DiCaprio invited his dad, stepmom, and niece along for the ride. Some may find that excessive! They might wonder, Why charter a big-ass boat for just four people? Wouldn’t a smaller ship be easier to manage? I think the answer is pretty simple: Because it's fun! And Leonardo DiCaprio has yacht money! I’d do the same. Wouldn’t you?

Page Six obtained pictures from the affair, showing DiCaprio lounging around his floating estate and jumping in the choppy water.. Thankfully, there were no icebergs around to ruin the fun. This feels like a nice moment for the actor to relax after promoting his latest movie, Killers of the Flower Moon , at the Cannes Film Festival. (When I want to relax, I walk around the block and get a Big Gulp from 7/11. But, alas, this isn’t about me, and I doubt Leonardo DiCaprio drinks Big Gulps from 7/11.)

The actor's upcoming movie is based on David Grann’s popular nonfiction book, Killers of the Flower Moon: The Osage Murders and the Birth of the FBI . DiCaprio stars in the project alongside Robert DeNiro, Jesse Plemons, Brendan Fraser, John Lithgow, and Lily Gladstone. The crime drama follows a series of murders that affect the indigenous Osage Nation after oil is found on their land. When more and more people go missing, the FBI swoops in to investigate.

Killers of the Flower Moon will premiere in theaters on October 2. That gives good ol’ Leo at least a few more months to relax before hopping back into movie-star mode. I, for one, can’t wait to see what he does next.

Leonardo DiCaprio Throws Private Party on Superyacht TOPAZ

Superyacht fan and A-List superstar Leonardo DiCaprio was one of a lucky few people in the world allowed to charter the 147m/482 TOPAZ in which he hosted a lavish party on board last month.

As reported on the New York Daily News website, the 80’s-themed party which is thought to have been held in New York in mid-April with around 100 guests welcomed aboard including actor’s Jamie Foxx and Orlando Bloom. 

A crew of more than 80 are said to have been on-hand to serve an undoubtedly impressive spread of fine food, champagne and cocktails whilst the VIP part-goers were entertained into the early hours. ‘Leo wore a velour pantsuit to the ’80s-themed party’, said one insider, adding that DiCaprio hired additional ‘deejays, decor, designers and extra security’ especially for the event.

The 2012-launched superyacht TOPAZ was built by Lürssen to a design by Tim Heywood and is currently ranked 5th amongst the largest superyachts in the world. A spectacular setting for any event, she has very occasionally been made available for rent by her UAE-based Owner to a hand-selected elite few but is not officially available on the global charter fleet.  

DiCaprio is no stranger to superyachts, having shot a number of scenes for ‘Wolf of Wall Street’ on board the 44m/144’ MY LADY M and is regularly seen enjoying time on board charter yachts during prestigious events such as the Cannes Film Festival .

The largest superyacht officially marketed for charter is SERENE , the 133m Italian motor yacht built by Fincantieri, she can accommodate 24 charter guests in her 12 sumptuous staterooms.  Charter rates are from €3,750,000 per week plus expenses.

If there is an acting maverick with a great range, it is Leonardo DiCaprio . His contribution to cinema is inexplicable. From a maniac tycoon to a sweet, chocolate boy to a carnivore tearing a bear and living in it, he has been a tour de force. Even before activists took the baton to fight against climate change, DiCaprio educated himself about the phenomenon. He even used the Oscars platform to advocate to fight against climate change and refute the ‘politics of greed. The fact that DiCaprio is a famous name when it comes to environmentalists doesn’t mean the star has to drop some luxury for it.

The eco-conscious crusader has a yacht named Topaz irrespective of the pollution it creates in water and air as well. Not only Topaz, he has been making great utility of another yacht Vava II vessel for his extravagant holidays with women and close friends. This topic is a bit controversial to his image of someone who is dedicated to the improvement of the health of the planet.

Does Leonardo Own The Topaz And Vava II?

The first thing is that Leonardo DiCaprio does not own Topaz. The actual owner of Topaz is Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who is a billionaire politician of the United Arab Emirates. Sheikh Mansour also holds the largest share in the Manchester City FC. He built the yacht in 2012 which took around $527 million. The spacious and luxurious ride consists of 26 cabins in total. It is 482 feet long. The vessel was accustomed to his lifestyle of grandeur and luxury. Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan himself named the yacht Topaz as per its specifications to fit in with a high-end lifestyle.

The ‘ Titanic ‘ star and his friends took over the yacht merely to enjoy the Fifa World Cup in 2014. So far, the interior of the vessel was kept a secret from the world. DiCaprio comes in this scene as the one who rented the yacht.

Another yacht that DiCaprio enjoys spending time on is the Vava II, a $150 million yacht. Again, the star does not own the vessel. It is owned by the Swiss businessman Ernesto Bertarelli. Bertarelli is a renowned name in the pharma and drug industry. Along with his sister Dona, he inherited the biotech company Serono, which he sold to Merck. Later, the two founded the Bertarelli Foundation, which ironically works for marine conservation and life sciences research. In 2022, Leonardo was seen basking in the St Barts’ sun along with Camila Morrone , Al Pacino’s stepdaughter in 2022.

The Specifications Of The Ships

Topaz is amongst one of the biggest superyachts that measure 453 feet in length. It took around $200 million to build this luxurious piece of heaven. The craft launched back in 2012 and gets power from four M90 engines operating on diesel. This generates approximately 48,000 horsepower. As per sources, Leonardo rented it for the first time in 2014, two years into the launch.

The extravagant yacht offers smooth sailing with the installation of a speed stabilizer. It has eight deck levels to accommodate its hosts and guests throughout the vessel. The luxurious lifestyle of this vessel contains a cinema hall, two hot tubs, three swimming pools, underwater lights, air conditioning throughout, a fitness hall, and a conference room.

The Vava II vessel is again a product of 2012 engineering by Devonport in the United Kingdom. A Hampshire-based company RWD and Remi Tessier conceived the designs of the ship. It can carry 523,000 liters and 96,000 liters of fuel and water, respectively on board. The ship has 2 MTU engines which provides it amazing speed ranging from 15.0 kn to 19.0 kn. It ranks 84th on the list of the superyachts.

Controversies Related To The Actor’s Climate Activism

The controversy starts with the fact that Leonardo made a plea while receiving his first-ever Oscar to help fight climate change. The reason was he took a flight of 8000 miles in a private jet to reach the yacht leaving carbon footprints in the air and then to Brazil with his yacht. The Hollywood environmentalist managed his time to receive awards for his contribution to the environment. But each trip is through private jets . This produces pollution which can’t be denied.

An environmentalist Sarah Clayton defended the star amidst the criticism for leaving heavy carbon footprints yachting in such super yachts. Sarah said, “I know celebrities lead these crazy lives, but ‘Don’t Look Up’ has done so much to make people aware of climate change.” The actor has been participating in activism since 2014 when he held a demonstration in Manhattan addressing the dangers of climate change in the United Nations.

Leonardo DiCaprio is living it up in Miami, and was seen partying on Wednesday night on a Swedish billionaire’s yacht.

The “Titanic” star was spotted at biotech billionaire Ernesto Bertarelli’s floating bash aboard his $150 million superyacht, Vava II.

A source tells us DiCaprio — who split from Camila Morrone this summer, and has been linked to model Gigi Hadid — was hanging out with posse members Tobey Maguire and Helly Nahmad at the model-heavy bash hosted by his pal and de facto social director Richie Akiva.

We hear the party started after midnight and raged till 5a.m. with guests including Venus and Serena Williams, Jared Leto, art dealer Vito Schnabel, tennis pro Reilly Opelka, venture capitalist Vivi Nevo, diplomat Paolo Zampoli, and the requisite slew of “like one hundred” models.

One source told us, “There were like a hundred models. I have literally never seen more models in my life, no one was ‘normal’ looking. It was models, models, models.”

Another source tells us, “There was a group of girls that were wearing beaded dresses with nothing underneath at all, no underwear. You could see everything.”

A source tells us DiCaprio was heard chatting with Bertarelli — whose estimated worth is $8.5 billion , and whose family foundation focuses on marine conservation — about “saving the oceans.”

The “Great Gatsby” star has his own foundation and is an environmental activist.

Then again, a report in Fast Company last year stated, “A superyacht with a permanent crew, helicopter pad, submarines, and pools emits about 7,020 tons of CO2 a year, according to our calculations, making it by far the worst asset to own from an environmental standpoint.”

DiCaprio had previously attended a party on Bertarelli’s yacht over the summer in St. Tropez .

Earlier in the night, DiCaprio attended Sean Penn’s annual event for his Core charity at Soho Beach House, where “The Revenant” star auctioned off an art piece from his private collection.

The bash, which raised $1 million, brought out Diplo, Soleil Moon Frye, hotelier Alan Faena and Rande Gerber, and featured a performance by Wyclef Jean.

The private event took over the entire beach, leaving some Soho House members stuck indoors.

“There had to be 500 people outside trying to get in,” says a source. “There were so many cops and security on site for the event. It was like Fort Knox.”

DiCaprio has had a busy week: On Tuesday, he was spotted partying with “beautiful women” and friends in the VIP section at a party for Stone Island’s 40th anniversary at Miami’s RC Cola Plant.

Earlier the same day, he was spotted at Art Basel, eyeing edgy art .

Does Leo Dicaprio Have A Yacht?

Leonardo DiCaprio, 48, recently sailed around the Amalfi Coast in his private yacht, TOPAZ. He was joined by his family, including his niece, Normandie, father George DiCaprio, and stepmother Peggy Ann Farrar. DiCaprio has had numerous relationships with yachts throughout his lifetime, hosting countless parties on them. In 2023, he sailed around St. Barts on a yacht with then-23-year-old Victoria Lamas. This week, he has been chartering Swiss billionaire Ernesto Bertarelli’s yacht, Vava II, in St. Barts. The Vava II has its own Wikipedia page and is believed to be owned by Bertarelli.

DiCaprio is known for his leisurely lifestyle and luxury. He recently hosted Neelam Gill and her model friends on his 150m mega yacht, TOPAZ. The 121 million superyacht can emit as much carbon as an average car in a year by sailing just seven miles. It is also believed that DiCaprio does not own the yacht. He recently had a NYE party on TOPAZ, which is the 5th largest superyacht in the world owned by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Saud.

I think it’s funny how these people use yachts, jets, planes, etc. And they want us to give up driving normal cars to switch to electric. How about you do it first and let us know how it goes. One thing i do remember is one of the actors from its always sunny getting locked out of his own car and being extremely upset. Didn’t look like it went so well for him

I always like the characters these actors and actresses play ( and yes it IS actor for a dude and actress for a chick, there is no such word as acter to describe one who acts of either of the two only genders ) better than their actual real selves. I try to avoid hearing anything that any of them have to say ; especially when they lecture us on whatever the latest B.S. is. It ruins the movie.

If he really believed what hes spewing he wouldnt be creating the same emissions as a small town for a whole week in one trip…ALL THE TIME. If they really believed it was as big of an emergency as theyre making it out to be; 1. They wouldnt be contributing to it, and 2. They would be calling out countries like china and india and corporarions that are the main cause for atmospheric issues and pollution in general. 1 trip in a jumbo jet creates the same amount of emissions as a family of 5 for a full year.

People plant trees, bushes, stop doing the stupid zeroscape and the water issues will work themselves out and carbon will reduce as well. Instead we cut down all forests and do no yards as eesult higher carbon and less water. Look at sahara desert once was vegitated it was cut all down and it turned into a dessert. They are slowly revegitating it and the plants cause its own micro climate in which it begins to get more rainfall.

The bleating stopped long ago for the majority. Those less inclined, not so much. Climate change is real: humanity’s contribution is overestimated and always inaccurate, if at all an issue. From Mt. Saint Helens to poor forest management, to forest fire arson, there is accountability, and then there isn’t. ALWAYS strive to #GoGreenWithoutGov.

Oh… my stomach… is tightened with sickness from these mentality ill people. What a set of B on him. Well, this is what money can do to people. These people think their money can be controlled by them when, in reality its the money that controls them, for they will be exposed for the false people they are, and here we see a good example.

My daughter is like in LOVE with Leo. Hes her screen saver and i tell her hes a freaking hypocrit and damn near a child molestor. But hey, Youre at the right age for him and Hes my age! My daughter is 19 BTW and she dont listen to reason. To be fair its only his picks from the 90’s she has a love for but he aint that little boy anymore but on old man that preys on little girls and young women. And then of course his not shutting his mouth with “climate change” when hes worse than 1,000,000 average person in America;

People need to wake up and stop idolizing all of these plastic people. There is no way most of these people can afford this lifestyle by acting, playing music, singing, sports, Royals families, politicians especially, by their works alone! Start adding up the cost of maintaining Mansions, Castles, the grounds, yachts, planes, helicopters, cars, buses, mobile homes, clothing, furniture, maids, butlers, security etc. The people of the world supported many of these entertainers, sports figures, politicians, Royals by buying tickets, merchandise, and paying taxes. I understand they also invest their money to make money. Still I feel with many it has become a Ponzi scheme to get rich and keep the wealth at any cost! We need to open our eyes and follow the paper trails. The working class has been hoodwinked by these Pied Pipers!

Leonardo at Cannes on board 450ft Megayacht Rising Sun

Yacht aficionado and everyone’s favorite bearded celeb   Leonardo DiCaprio was spotted in  Cannes on one of the World’s Largest Yachts, once again enjoying some rest and relaxation after enjoying the parties and premieres of the 68th annual Cannes Film Festival.

He was joined by Cape Fear actress and singer   Juliette Lewis , who seemed to enjoy the experience so much, she posted a video of her experience on board !

And Leo still does not appear to have rid himself of his beard yet, that he has been sporting for some time!

They were seen sunbathing out on deck with a few friends and it looked they were having a fantastic time!

Leonardo was not surrounded by the usual harem of ladies this time, but there was one tall, mystery blonde on board who he was spotted talking to. Who knows who the lady is or if there is any romantic involvement? Watch this space!

The beautiful yacht they were on is called the Rising Sun , built for Larry Ellison and recently sold to   film producer, music mogul and billionaire David Geffen.

The yacht measures 453ft (138m) long, making it the 6th largest yacht on the planet. It features a helicopter landing pad, large swimming pool, fully loaded gym, spa, elevator and private movie theatre – ideal for an A-list movie star! It was built in Germany by shipbuilders Lurssen and can accommodate up to 16 guests in 8 cabins. It has a full complement of 45 crew members for around the clock service …

Since the yacht is privately owned, and not advertised for charter, Leo and Juliette are no doubt such good buddies of Mr Geffen this vacay was probably free. But just to fill you in, this mega yacht cost a tidy $590 million to build … and to charter a yacht like this would probably be in excess of $3.5 million per week (plus expenses!)

As well as talking shop, Leonardo has also been enjoying the more fun side of the festival, attending various lifestyle events at the festival.

According to industry reports, the Inception star outbid heiress and socialite Paris Hilton on the lot that was a Chanel purse at the Heart Fund’s Generous People Dinner Gala at the InterContinental Carlton Hotel in Cannes.

The bidding war was all very peaceful with Leonardo eventually winning it – and apparently went into the bidding with a view to win it for his mother. It went for over $10,000…

The 48-year-old is clearly not ready to settle down as he enjoys bachelor lifestyle in st. barts.

Forever bachelor Leonardo DiCaprio is spending his time holidaying in St.Barts doing what he does best… enjoying some Vitamin D on a mega yacht with a plethora of women and friends, which included Tobey McGuire, Drake and Lukas Haas.

The 48-year-old Hollywood movie star seems to be enjoying a breezy life after recently ending a four-year relationship with Camilla Morrone after the 25th birthday of the Argentinian model/actress (feeding the narrative that Leo doesn’t date women older than 25).

According to a report in PageSix , the Academy Award-winning actor also enjoyed his New Years festivities on the yacht in the Caribbean with 23-year-old model Victoria Lamas, whom he has recently been linked to following the split with Morrone. Despite insiders claiming the two are just friends, this marks their fourth hangout in less than a month.

DiCaprio, who’s set to star in the upcoming Apple TV+ drama  Killers of the Flower Moon , was also rumoured to have been getting cosy with supermodel Gigi Hadid late last year,   as the pair were “getting to know each other” after being spotted partying together during New York Fashion Week.

“He really likes that she has her life together,” a source told People around that time. “She has a child and she’s mature. He wants to be with someone who has the same idea of good causes and political views like he does.”

In 2013 Leonardo paid $410,000 to rent a yacht for a week. The ship was on sale for $42 million , but he did not splurge to buy the boat for himself.

Leonardo was later accompanied by 21 of his closest millionaire friends aboard the Topaz in 2018. They partied and watched the 2018 World Cup from the enormous yacht.

Leonardo DiCaprio is a strong advocate for the environment, yet his yachts produce high carbon emissions . The internet is swamped with social media posts criticizing his lavish lifestyle. Many people claim that his activism is diminished if he does not live by his preaching.

Meanwhile, Leonardo’s fans give him a pass to enjoy his wealth in occasional luxury. Yachts are not good for the environment, but his infrequent rentals make him no worse than any other celebrity. 

Although Leonardo DiCaprio’s yacht parties are famously extravagant, he has never bought his own yacht. He certainly has enough money to purchase one of the ships he intermittently borrows for parties. Maybe Leonardo’s occasional yacht parties are not the worst thing for the environment since he still does not travel the world on his own yacht.

He was surrounded by pals including Juliette Lewis on Wednesday as they enjoyed the luxurious facilities of his superyacht.

But the following day Leonardo DiCaprio cut a lonely figure as he spent some solo time on the sun deck of the 450ft watercraft anchored off the Mediterranean coast of France.

Perhaps the 40-year-old movie star was taking it easy ahead of a weekend of glitzy Cannes Film Festival closing parties.

The Inception star milled about in a pair of khaki shorts and a pale blue button-up shirt.

He shaded his eyes with aviators and tied his long locks back in a bun while sporting his ever-bushy beard. 

At one point Leo took off his shades as he reclined on one of the plush loungers soaking up the sun.

Earlier in the day he was seen in a green T-shirt appearing deep in thought as he sipped on a coffee while gazing out to sea.

Leo's abode for the week is motor yacht Rising Sun, custom built in 2004 by Lurssen Yachts and owned by business magnate David Geffen.

It reportedly cost $200 million to build and is the 11th largest yacht in the world. 

It offers accommodation for up to 16 guests, a cinema, a wine cellar and is capable of carrying up to 45 crew members onboard. 

It also boasts a basketball court which can be transformed into a helipad if necessary.

Leo and Juliette's hang-out session was a reunion of sorts as the duo starred together in 1993 drama What's Eating Gilbert Grape alongside Johnny Depp.

The Cape Fear actress took to Instagram to give her followers a sneak peek inside the boat, showing off the sun terrace and even a gym area while her pals were still asleep.

As well as no doubt making movie deals, Leonardo has also been enjoying the playboy lifestyle at the festival.  

People report that on Tuesday the Wolf Of Wall Street star outbid heiress Paris Hilton on an expensive Chanel purse at the Heart Fund's Generous People Dinner Gala at the InterContinental Carlton Cannes.

A source told the publication that a 'friendly bidding war' began between the pair but Leo managed to pip her to the post.

Leonardo is said to be giving the Chanel purse (worth more than $10,000) to his mother Irmelin.

For Leonardo DiCaprio, a Yacht for All Seasons

There are few relationships like the one between man and yacht. They go together like peas and carrots. Like Rodgers and Hammerstein. Like a person capable of sinking into the briny deep and a vehicle designed not to.

Leonardo DiCaprio is such a man. He’s had many a relationship with a yacht. Well, not one yacht, but yachts . He’s boarded countless numbers of them over his lifetime, annually embarking on this one or that one, parked here in a harbor, or out there in the sea, where only long lenses and the Coast Guard can find him. He yachts with friends and he yachts with girlfriends. He yachts before the Oscars and after the Oscars. He yachts in times of plenty and yachts during a pandemic. It’s as if he needs to counter the reputation of Jack Dawson, who famously died in the North Atlantic on a piece of shiplap so many years ago. It’s his life’s work. See me here once again on this ship that is not sinking, he seems to say. This is the real me. This is who I am.

And so it’s not a terrible shock or surprise that when he celebrated his girlfriend Camila Morrone’s 23rd birthday on Friday, it was on a big boat. Revelers older and younger joined in— Nina Dobrev, Shaun White, Kevin Connolly, and Lukas Haas were all there. It was a cowboy-themed party apparently, according to Page Six , which has all the photos you need. The party could have also been hat themed—everybody wears a hat—because some were wearing baseball caps and others were wearing more flat-brimmed varieties and still others wore the cowboy hat. DiCaprio is a man who knows himself, knows what he likes, and so we see him this way consistently out with his young girlfriend on a yacht and wearing a hat.

And you know what: he appeared to be the only one in the group wearing a mask. The man has earned a sense of precaution, perhaps. He knows what can go wrong on a boat. He’s seen enough of them in his life.
