There is so much food to enjoy in MSC’s private dining venue Top Sail Lounge – a private dining venue that is exclusive to MSC Yacht Club guests. The Yacht Club is MSC’s “ship within a ship” concept that features exceptional service, exclusivity, and some amazing food and drink options.

Last week, we shared nights 1-3 dinner menus and photos in the Top Sail Lounge. This week we’re sharing MSC Yacht Club Menus for nights 4-6 in the Top Sail Lounge. I hope you enjoy the menus and the photos! We’ll be back next week with our final installment of nights 7-9 .

MSC Yacht Club – Night Four Dinner Menu

Night four’s menu had me stumped: there were two main dishes I wanted to try, but which should I choose?? Not to worry, our friendly waiter insisted I get both!

MSC Yacht Club Menus (2024) | Top Sail Lounge Nights 4, 5, and 6

For my Starters, I ordered the Beef Tartare and the Provencal Country Vegetable Soup from the Deliciously Healthy portion of the menu. For my entrées, I ordered both the Pumpkin Risotto (are you picking up a theme yet?) and the Roasted Vegetable Tajine. Because I had two entrées, I decided to order dessert from the healthy portion of the menu and I got the Crispy Tulip. “Filled with vanilla ice cream and diced strawberries” sounds good, right? This was probably my most disappointing dessert all week; back to the regular desserts for me!

MSC Yacht Club – Night Five Dinner Menu

Night five was a unique dining experience as we were late to dinner. But I promise, it was for a good reason: we Live Streamed sail away as we were the first ship to ever pass by Icon of the Seas at night in PortMiami. The ship happened to make her first stop in Miami while we happened to be ported there, so we spent the day capturing video footage and tons of photos!

msc yacht club sample menu

Because of our late arrival at 8:15, and the fact that we had tickets to Rock Circus at 9pm, our waiter informed us we would only have time to order an entrée for our dinner. Any guesses what I ordered? If you guessed the Famer-Style Creamy Risotto, you would be right! Rocky ordered the Spring Rack of Lamb with Fine Herbs in Mustard Shallot Sauce.

msc yacht club sample menu

MSC Yacht Club – Night Six Dinner Menu

Once again, on Night Six we were pressed for time at dinner as we were docked at MSC’s private island Ocean Cay, and we didn’t want to miss the “Lighthouse Light Show” outside. So, we decided to… gasp… skip dessert!

msc yacht club sample menu

Even though I don’t like seafood, I had to continue the theme of the week! To start, I ordered the Lemon-Scented Creamy Oyster Risotto. Ok. Maybe I took this “order risotto every night” thing too far. This was the grittiest, saltiest, seafoodiest dish I’ve ever ordered in a restaurant. Every bite had crunchy things in it like sand. Definitely not. lol

I also ordered the Asparagus in Tarragon Sauce. The puff pastry looked beautiful, but the dish overall was very bland. Finally, for my entrée, I ordered the Paccheri Pasta with Traditional Cured Speck.

Yacht Club DINNER Menus

Thanks to some great detective work by @Beamafar  we have been able to compile an almost complete set of the dinner menus on Meraviglia as of Oct/Nov 2019 [numbered 1-14 plus '15' for Italian Night and 'E' for the everyday menu ] – note that this is missing nos. 3 and 10.

We thought that this post would be a complete set, based on the MD's statement that these are the official menus.  But I have also collected some additional YC Dinner menus [labeled x1, x2 etc.] that (a) may fill in the missing nos. 3 and 10, but (b) also seem to include variations on the other menus (at least on other MSC ships).

I suspect that there is, as always [!], a degree of variability in MSC's operations – but these menus should at least give a good sampling of what you will find on your cruise.  And – speaking only for myself [and DW] – the food delivered in the YC restaurant lives up to the promises of these menus.  Mangia!

@Beamafar  and I have now done our part.  If you would like to contribute, please feel free to post additional menus (or variations) and 'food porn' pictures.  Just please remember that this thread is for Yacht Club DINNER menus only.  See the separate threads for Yacht Club BREAKFAST and LUNCH menus.

1,000+ Club

I appreciate all the menus that are posted.   We are considering booking the Yacht Club for a November cruise.   Not sure I like all of the selections for the lunch or dinner menus.   Is it possible to order something not on the menu if you don't like what they are offering?   Would it be better to go to a regular dining room instead?  Not sure if I should book YC if I don't eat in the special dining room most of the time?  Any suggestions welcome.

Hello. Does yacht Club menu still have the selection of items each night at dinner that do not change? Filet mignon etc.?

I appreciate your thoughts.  Quite reasonable as to what the realities were for these MSC guests.

We were in YC on MSC Seaview for Christmas 2019. When we saw both YC and MDR menu for Christmas Dinner, we requested a table in the MDR. I do sometimes wish that we could get some of the MDR dishes sent up to the YC! I'm sure that in December we will do the same again for at least one meal.

From the the menus displayed am right in thinking that is the total menu for each evening? If that is the case then I find the choices limited when you consider you are paying more to be in the Yacht Club. On Celebrity Cruises Diner menu’s you have one page with a set menu and and on the other page is another menu that changes every day.

Glad to see some menus though the Med sailings do have different fare than the US.

We'd love if the food more closely resembled the Med though never had a bad meal in YC.

FWIW we have Captn Club status with Cel yet now much prefer MSC YC.

@chromered7

YC has a variety of things available every day (like Aqua class and suite class on Cel)

The menus change every day so if you see a risotto you want to try--order it. its not on the menu the next day.

We found there were always more great choices than time/meals to enjoy them and never had a bad meal in YC.

We enjoyed X's menus (Baltics vary from say the Med) and  after sailing AQ we just dont enjoy the MDR at all.

In Blu we could get something from MDR on the M class ships- escargot for example

-- the S class was not so easy.... and really... there is always something decent on the Blu menu.

We have high Captn club status with X yet feel MSC YC is a better product--

--though MSC is a very european feel in its product (we lived in Europe and went to school there) so for us its a better fit

In YC we used our Italian, French and Spanish skills.. and it made me wish we had learned German -- such a lovely mix of guests.

The saddest thing here on CC is to read from folks who want MSC to be RCCL, NCL or Carnival etc...

and the private island Ocean Cay is planned as a reserve--they spent years to plan it--and do coral reef research. No zip lines no trams. It is sun, lovely water ...

We love MSC and others prefer and love RCCL etc... Really its what you prefer as your vacation style.

Great post thanks for sharing

I'm sure that the YC menus are different depending on the region you are sailing in. Are the menus the same for each ship in that region or does the YC Chef have the power to change his menu for his ship? Last 3 sailings on Meraviglia. Next 4 on Divina. Would be nice to have a different menu.

On my last cruise on the Meraviglia we were treated to a wonderful Indian cuisine after a conversation with the chef! I wonder if he was happy to cook something different!

Each menu sounds delicious!  I'd have a difficult time of making selections.  The variety of the Risottos' that the chefs create are amazing to me.  And, whatever I ordered, my palate was pleased.

These menus are, in my opinion, better than those that I have read on the Cunard Board for the Princess Grill.

WOW! Thank you so much for sharing.  Now for the serious question. What is a cheese trolley and where do I find one  😍

On Meraviglia, there was a trolley near the entrance of the YC Restaurant with a variety of cheeses covered with a clear plastic (glass?) cover and baskets of assorted crackers and breads.  (Maybe breads?  Don't clearly remember.)  Ask your Steward and I expect you "will receive".  (Or in this era of Covid, a plate of what you request?)

We asked our butler for a cheese tray along with Gluten Free crackers.  He had some difficulty finding the crackers and left us with three boxes to make sure we had enough for the entire cruise.

Oh glad to hear.  Not much of a sweets eater, but love cheese and savory treats.

If I recall, the in room refrigerator had some really great chocolate covered peanuts and some other goodies.

Thanks for all the information here, I found it really useful.  I've just returned from a week in Yacht Club onboard the MSC Seashore.  I've created this video of my MSC Seashore Yacht Club Food Experience.

Hello from Canada! Funnny... I just watched your videos including this one. I am sailing Seashore YC Back 2 Back November 6th-20th. I really enjoyed your honest opinions on the food/deserts etc. I am not a huge fis or cheese fan, but I have always found more than enough good food to eat with little/no complaints from me lol. I will defiantly go to the Butchers cut for dinner at least once (eaten there on past cruises and enjoyed it) and am thinking to trying the Kaito Teppanyaki as well . Thanks again for your excellent videos!

MSC Cruise Food Menu: 7 Night Cruise Menus, Specialty Dining And More!

October 26, 2023

Going on an MSC cruise and wondering what type of food they offer onboard? Sometimes it can be difficult to find the cruise food menu. Check out these cruise food menus from my cruise in May 2023 on MSC Seaside out of Port Canveral, FL.

This post will have the exact menus offered everywhere on MSC Seaside from the main dining room to specialty dining to their exclusive Yacht Club.

I personally went on a 7 night caribbean cruise to Nassau, Ocean Cay, Costa Maya and Cozumel. Spending 7 nights onboard Seaside I was able to try tons of different dishes MSC offered.

If you live in the US and haven’t tried an MSC cruise yet you should give them a try!

I ended up booking my first MSC cruise because I was wanting to cruise within a few months of booking and everything on other lines I knew more about was at least 2 times  the cost of what it was for MSC + a flight!

So glad I ended up giving them a try! I loved my cruise. I would say do research and go in with an open mind. I saw a lot of negative reviews before cruising but did not have the same experience at all.

Below I show every dinner menu in the main dining room, the breakfast menu, and a lunch menu. I also included what we chose from those menus under each day.

Like other cruise lines you also have the option to upgrade to specialty dining while on your cruise. I did include menus from the specialty dining restaurants on Seaside, although I did not try them myself.

MSC also has another option that is even more high end. If you do not know what MSC’s Yacht Club is I would go to their website and check it out! If you’re looking for a truly luxious experience still on a more budget friendly cruise line, Yacht Club is the way to go!

They have their own sections of the ship and restaurant. You can still eat at the other venues on the ship but the Yacht Club area is more elevated so I would stick with that. I did include some menus from Yacht Club as well I was able to find on the app while on my cruise.

This post is all about cruise food menus.

If you’re looking to see everything I ate on my cruise check out my TikTok page: @Yourstrulychelsea and click on the playlist “ What I Ate On My Cruise “.

MSC Main Dining Room Menu: Night 1

I’m not going to be including the second page on every night since the premium upgrades were the same if not very similar with a one change and also the classic favorites listed on this first menu are the same throughout the cruise.

For our first night on MSC Seaside I chose:

-Chicken Croquettes

-New York Strip Steak

-Coconut Pistachio Decquoise

-Crema Catalana

My Husband Chose:

-Spanish Delights

-Lasagna Bolognese

{Related Post: What I Ate On My 5 Night Royal Caribbean Cruise }

Msc main dining room menu: night 2, for caribbean night i chose:.

-Jerk-Marinated Pork Salad

-Jamaican Patties Filled with Sweet Potatoes and Swiss Chard

-Caribbean Rum Cake

-Florida Key Lime Pie

-Guadeloupe-Style Shrimp Tails

-Caribbean Lamb Curry

MSC Main Dining Room Menu: Night 3

What i ate night 3:.

-French Onion Soup

-Cabernet Braised Short Ribs

-Gateau Opera

-Warm Apple Strudel

What my husband chose:

-Moules Marinieres

-Chicken Coq Au Vin

MSC Main Dining Room Menu: Night 4

For gala night i chose:.

-Beef Steak Tartar

-Surf and Turf

-Lobster Bisque

-Shrimp Cocktail

We ended up leaving early on gala night because my husband felt motion sick so I did not get to try any of the desserts.

MSC Main Dining Room Menu: Night 5

We did not go to the main dining room this night on our cruise. We were way too tired after a long port day in Costa Maya so we mostly hung out in our room, napped and then went to the buffet for dinner later that night.

MSC Main Dining Room Menu: Night 6

What i chose night 6:.

-Chilled Watermelon and Peppered Feta Cheese

-Chocolate Duo Cake

-Coconut Cake

-Seafood Dumplings

-Bucatini Alla Carbonara

MSC Main Dining Room Menu: Night 7

What i chose for italian night:.

-Sicilian Style Aracini

-Caprese Salad

-Lemonchello Cake

-Fried Calamari

-Chicken Breast Parmigiana

Shore Excursions: Everything You Need To Know About Choosing The Right One For You

Main Dining Room Breakfast Menu:

If you currently don’t eat breakfast in the main dining room when you cruise you should give it a try on your next cruise!

The buffet is definitely convenient and offers more of a selection but it is often busy in the morning.

Eating in the main dining room offers a more relaxing environment for your breakfast. Ask to be seated by a window as well for a great sea view. Especially if you don’t have an ocean view for your assigned dinner seating.

For breakfast my go to is the eggs benedict. This dish on MSC was actually the best one I’ve had on a cruise! Try it out on your next sailing.

Main Dining Room Lunch Menu:

We did not end up going to the main dining room for lunch on our 7 night cruise. We planned on it but were busy making the most of the activties on the ship.

MSC Seaside Specialty Dining

For our cruise we did not dine at any of the specialty dining restaurants but I did take pictures of the menus while on the cruise in the app.

MSC’s Yacht Club is the top booking tier that comes with tons of exclusive benefits. Some of these include having the premium beverage package already included, a private pool on the ship, a butler, a private restaurant and more!

If you’re looking to make your cruise a luxury experience Yacht Club is what you should look into.

I’m sure there were different dinner menus offered throughout the cruise but below are the ones that I was able to take pictures of.

Hope this post helped anyone wanting to see what type of menus and food MSC has to offer!
