Charter our entire 40 seat boat from just $2000.

Come on board a Perth Party Cruise and sail into an event to remember.

Whether you want to celebrate life floating down the Swan River or spend the day lazing in a bay at Rottnest or Carnac Island, we have just the right cruise for your event.

Boats and partying go together like a hot Aussie day and a cold beer, (or a kombucha if that’s your thing!) You may feel like a millionaire on board your exclusive boat charter, but our cruises won’t break the bank.

You can either bring your own food and drinks or make use of our Family Webber BBQ on the back deck, or we can organise full or partial catering for you. Just let us know what you want and it can happen!

Our state-of-the-art music sound system means you can listen to the party beats of your choice. Soak up the atmosphere and get a drenching with our on-board water toys for hire!

Father-of-two killed in perth warehouse fire identified.

Father-of-two killed in fire in Perth's south

A man killed in a fire at a marine engineering warehouse in Perth’s southern suburbs has been identified as a “vivacious” father-of-two with an “infectious smile like no other”.

Marine mechanic Rob Lo Presti died when a blaze quickly took hold of the boat repair business in O’Connor about 3.30pm Saturday.

The fire sent toxic smoke into nearby areas, with residents told to stay inside, out of the smoke, with doors and windows closed.

Once the fire was extinguished, Lo Presti’s body was found inside the building.

Loved ones gathered on Sunday to lay flowers at the scene, as WorkSafe and police investigations continued.

Lo Presti’s family want him to be remembered for the smiles he put on other people’s faces.

“Rebecca, together with our devastated family, want Rob to be honoured as the most honest, genuine and vivacious human being whose love of life was noticeable by everyone who knew him and his infectious smile like no other,” his family said in a statement.

“He has left behind two amazing children who will live on in the memory of their loving father.”

Department of Fire and Emergency Services’s Shaun Gilbert said the fire appeared to be caused by a fuel leak that sparked a boat fire.

“There’s been some sort of fuel leak, which has caused a vapour flash and explosion, obviously the boat has then caught fire and spread through the rest of the business,” he said.

Police confirmed the fire was being treated as a non-suspicious fatal incident.

A report will be prepared for the coroner.

Perth Curling 1988 chairman David Hay said it is "bitterly disappointing" Perth's new leisure facility PH 2 O will not include an ice rink.

Councillors have however voted to save Dewars Centre from demolition and offer it to curling bodies to run themselves.

Council officers had recommended both Dewars Centre and Perth Leisure Pool be demolished and replaced with up to 250 affordable homes.

On Wednesday, September 4 the 20 SNP and Liberal Democrats voted in favour of building a new leisure facility at Thimblerow defeating the 18 Conservative, Independent and Labour councillors who supported further exploring options to build it at Glover Street and for PH 2 O to include a leisure pool and potentially a multi-sports ice rink.

PH 2 O will feature an eight-lane 25m pool, 12.5m x 8.5m teaching pool (both with movable floors), an indoor play area, games hall, gym, studios and café. Perth Leisure Pool and Dewars Centre will remain open until PH 2 O opens then Perth Leisure Pool will be demolished and developed into 150 social/affordable homes. Curling bodies will be offered the chance to run Dewars Centre for a nominal fee.

After Wednesday's meeting, Perth Curling 1998 chairman David Hay said: "It's bitterly disappointing that no provision has been made for a new ice facility in the new PH 2 O.

"However the door is not fully shut for curling with negotiations about to take place with regard to the curling community potentially running Dewars."

But Conservative councillor John Duff fears it could be the death knell for curling in Perth, home to the sport's world headquarters.

He said: "I am very much afraid that the SNP and the Liberal Democrats have sounded the death knell for curling in Perth. Time will tell if the offer around the Dewars Centre is a viable opportunity for an ice rink and curling within Perth. The projected future costs of this building make that very doubtful and I worry that its users will never be able to afford its running costs."

Labour councillor Alasdair Bailey - who was opposed to the building of the £150 million Cross Tay Link Road (CTLR) - believes council coffers which went towards the CTLR would have been better spent on offering a wider range of leisure facilities at PH 2 O.

As he tabled his amendment for approval, he said: "The amendment gives more certainty to residents because it confirms we’re having the leisure pool not just ‘exploring’ a leisure pool.

"Backing the motion today sends a message to curlers and swimmers that the money for their facilities is being sunk into a field by Scone instead of invested into their sports."

Conservative group leader John Duff said the proposal tabled lacked vision and ambition.

Seconding Bailie Bailey's amendment, he said: "My feeling on what is being proposed for PH 2 O is that it lacks the vision and ambition which we as a council must have for the city of Perth and for Perth and Kinross."

He fears the new leisure centre will not offer enough to continue attracting as many visitors from further afield who come to use the current facilities.

Cllr Duff said: "When constructed, the Dewars Centre and Perth Leisure Pool facilities made the sports complex at Glasgow Road a visitor attraction of significant proportions and many people come to Perth to use these facilities. If we hope to maintain and increase that footfall and visitor experience, we need to look beyond the base case of a swimming pool, a gym and a sports hall. We are not building Perth Recreation Centre.

"If users are just looking for a recreation centre they can go to Aberfeldy, Blairgowrie, Crieff or Kinross to access these types of facilities. We need to consider how we maximise PH 2 O as an attraction which will encourage people to come from far and wide to use it - an attraction which will be a significant boost to our local economy.

"When the Olympia Sports Centre in Dundee closed last year, did its patrons just go to Lochee Swimming Pool instead? No, they came to Perth Leisure Pool, significantly boosting our attendance figures. If we fail to include a decent, separate leisure pool area with the minimum specification listed, people will just go to the Olympia instead and once again, Perth will have lost out to Dundee. None of us can surely want that?"

Provost Xander McDade believes sharing the eight-lane pool between leisure users, club members and those in for lessons will please no one.

The Independent councillor said: "It is disappointing that SNP and Lib Dem Councillors have chosen to vote down a full PH 2 O facility including a new dedicated leisure pool and ice facility at Glover Street. The Thimblerow option that has been approved with an eight-lane pool will satisfy no one as leisure users battle for access with swimming clubs and swimming lessons. If money was councillors main driver then they could’ve picked the low cost option would’ve been to just refurbish the much loved existing Perth Leisure Pool where it could’ve mutually benefited from a heat exchanger with Dewars Centre saving money and energy."
