The smallest member of the award-winning Xc family, the Xc 35 is a compact cruiser with a big heart. She is a compact but surprisingly well equipped bluewater cruising yacht with a smooth hull line, a stylish yet practical cockpit and uncluttered but functional deck layout. Easily sailed short-handed, she can also accommodate guests with a two double cabin layout, spacious saloon and ample storage.

The Xp 55 raises the bar for performance sailing yachts. This model offers an unbeatable sailing experience combined with luxurious levels of comfort. The Xp 38 delivers an unrivalled sailing experience in a dual-purpose cruiser-racer. The Xc 38 offers superb performance in an easily handled package, ideal for doublehanded sailing. This model was the second yacht in the Xcruising range to be named European Yacht of the Year in the Luxury Cruiser category, on its launch. The judges were particularly impressed by the spaciousness and luxurious levels of comfort in the interior.

The Xc 50 is the largest model in the Xcruising range and offers a wide range of custom options to allow owners to create an elegant and personalised luxury yacht. The Xc 42 was launched in 2009, following the same philosophy as the Xc 45. The second yacht in the Xcruising range, offers no-compromise comfort and impressive pace combined with ease of handling.

The X-65 offered ‘Maxi’ yacht performance and cruising comfort, in an accessible 65ft package. This model was a high specification, high performance cruising yacht, which exuded X-Yachts quality throughout.

The Xc 45 was the first model in the Xcruising range to be launched, and was named European Yacht of the Year in 2009. She was praised for her combination of cruising comfort, performance under sail and responsive handling. The Xc 45 incorporates the X-Yachts steel hull/keel girder for strength and resistance to grounding, with deck and sail layouts designed for ease of handling, when sailing two-up.

The X-41 is another hit on the sailing scene. Sporting the latest within fast hull and appendage design; a non overlapping headsail configuration; double spreader, carbon mast and boom from one of Europe’s leading suppliers; large diameter carbon wheel; all trimlines leading to both sides of the coach roof; and a backstay adjustment run via the Magic Wheel.

The X-34 has been designed and specified to deliver the best of both worlds: Highly competitive on the racecourse as an IRC flyer one weekend. Then the following weekend capapable of taking the whole family out for lazy cruising and entertaining.

The vision behind the design was to create a sporty and simple yacht to sail, with extremely pleasing lines. Below deck she provides comforts suitable not only for the crew after racing, but also for the active family during a weekend trip or for holiday cruising.

Winner of the prestigious “Yacht of the Year” in 2007, as chosen by the 10 largest European yachting magazines. The X-55 is elegant and timeless, yet very fast and comfortable, enabling the owner to specify exactly the sail handling system and details to suit his needs.

X-Yachts latest one-off project, sold to an existing X-562 client. The hull and deck was laminated in the UK by Green Marine with Gurit (formerly SP-Systems) supplying laminates and engineering. The creation of this inspirational yacht has led to many new design solutions that will feature on future models.

When launched she was highly praised for her stunning looks and great performance. The X-50 was another trendsetter with her flat deck, sprayhood recess and open transom. She is sleek and stylish with a modest beam for her length. Stability comes mainly from a heavy lead bulb. The X-50 is largely sold as a fast cruiser, enabling the owner and his crew to reach far horizons quickly and in comfort.

A relatively narrow yet stiff 37-footer that has won a number of prestigious regattas and races worldwide. The latest notable result was a third consecutive win in the ORC 670 World Championship, with the 2008 event sailed in Lanzarote, Spain.

A replacement for the exceptionally popular X-412. The X-40 is part of the second generation of X-Yachts’ Performance Cruisers. The hull model was made by extending the IMX 40 by 100mm, modifying the bow rake and adding a cruising oriented deck layout and teak interior. The X-40 has proved to be as competetive as the IMX 40, and rates more favouable in both ORC and IMS. ”Sirena”, owned and sailed by Denmark’s Peter Buhl, has won many major races in Denmark as well as the 2005 X-Yachts Gold Cup in Arendal, Norway.

Just two months after the launch of the all new X-43, came the unveiling of the X-46. The hull was developed by adding 30 cm to the stern of the IMX 45 hull model. The X-46 features a large sail storage cabin but otherwise is identical to the concept of the X-43.

This was another trendsetter for the marine industry and represented the start of a new generation of yacht design. Her hull lines were created by a pure downscaling of the stunning IMX 45. The X-43 was smoother, heavier and stiffer than the competition. All the boats were fractionally rigged and all featured built-in hull portlights.

The IMX 45 was introduced on the back of the success of IMX 40, but also incorporated features that made her appeal to a wider audience such as an interior crafted in teak, an optional anchor locker and below deck headsail furler. Production started in the spring of 2002 and 24 yachts were launched, eight of which participated in the “Copa del Rey” in Palma, Mallorca.

An X-612 owner wanted X-Yachts to supply his final yacht. X-Yachts 73 took the company’s experience to new levels and integrated as many complex installation systems as possible. Two of these fantastic, true blue water cruisers were built.

With the X-412, X-442 and similar models selling in high numbers, the development department found time to maintain the X-Yachts’ reputation in the world of racing. The IMX 40 was introduced as an IMS winner, sporting a carbon mast, boom and wheel as standard and introducing the ‘magic wheel’ backstay adjuster. The design won the European Championship as well as forming two-thirds of the Spanish team that won the Sardinia Cup

This design closed the gap between the X-482 and X-612 and was built with the same high standard specification as her bigger and smaller sisters. In effect she was a petite version of the X-612 with the benefit of the very latest detailing. An open transom version was also developed.

X-362 Sport

In 1998 the X-362 Sport was introduced. She had a deeper, lighter keel, fractional rig, enlarged wheel and mahogany interior.

The X-482 replaced the X-512 and incorporated most of the deck details introduced on the X-612 such as the main sheet systems being led beneath deck and integrated storage for the sprayhood and captive wash boards.

In common with the first three models in the new Performance Cruiser range, the X-382 sported a large masthead rig, a large wheel, and a teak interior with moulded teak bulkheads that ensured maximum use of space. The X-382 was mainly focused on the cruising market, but was completely in tune with the new line, offering excellent sailing performance and comfort.

The X-612 represented another milestone in the company’s development. The design incorporated honey-comb-cored sandwich bulkheads and floorboards, recessed sprayhood storage and mainsheet led under benrath the deck. There was also a stern garage for a 2.8 m RIB, something never seen before on a yacht of this size. Owners included Hanseatische Yachtschule, the world’s largest sailing school. One example, “Dali”, raced in Scandinavia for several years, under the control of X-Yachts’ world-class sailors, Dan Petersen and Niels Ditmar.

Replacing the X-312 using almost the same hull, though with a less raked bow and stern. The first series was delivered with a composite cast iron/lead bulb keel, which made her very stiff. A cheaper cast iron keel version was subsequently introduced with improved light wind performance.

Developed in parallel with the X-302 and one of the most successful and popular X-Yachts models ever. The X-332 was unmatched in the way she combined performance and comfort. A composite cast iron/ lead bulb keel and fractional rig with discontinuous rod rigging were standard. Later a Sport version appeared featuring a deeper, lighter keel, to match developments of the IMS rule.

The third Performance Cruiser also became a “classic” and remained in production for more than 10 years. She was stiffer than the competition, and soon she became a benchmark for designers and builders of this new breed of performance cruisers.

This was an exceptionally stiff yacht and appealed to more conservative sailors who demanded high levels of comfort. First introduced with a masthead rig and a curved mahogany interior. A more traditional teak interior was subsequently offered.

The good looks of the X-382 were obvious from the moment she emerged from the production mould. She was so appealing that the idea was born to create a new racer/cruiser that would perform well under the dominant IMS international handicap rule.

X-Yachts’ first model in the new “Performance Cruiser” range where the influence of IOR had completely disappeared as IMS became the dominant international handicap rule. The X-412 became another trendsetter and remained in production for more than 10 years.

40 ft One Ton

The last X-Yachts model built to win an official World Championship. Greek banker, Yannis Costopoulos was the owner of the 1988 and 1989 “World Champion” X-3/4 Ton yachts (“Okyalos IIX” and “Okyalos IX”) and ordered the best one-off One Ton that could be built. “Okyalos X” duly won the One Ton Cup in Marstrand, Sweden.

Entering the 50ft market for the new Performance Cruiser range, sporting twin wheel steering, a large masthead rig and a comfortable teak interior.

Designed to replace the X-95 she was kept simple, yet practical. The X-312 sported a fractional rig and tiller steering and was the first X-Yachts model to benefit from a stern integrated bathing platform.

Production Years: 1989 — 1994 Number Built: 64 Hull Length: 9.24 m

Originally sold as a one-off to a Swedish newspaper publisher, with the rights for X-Yachts to put into production. She followed the X-79/X-99 design philosophy, featuring a T-keel and became popular among those who wanted a very fast, non-handicap racer/cruiser.

Production Years: 1988 — 1992 Number Built: 74 Hull Length: 12.00 m

IOR had become less important as handicap rules were more locally based and didn’t take the stability into account. This allowed for the production of a much stiffer yacht than the IOR-designed X-102 and X-95. A masthead version was offered but almost all clients chose the fractional rig.

Built in the same hull mould, this luxury version of the X-452 was very much oriented to cruising. A variety of layouts, including three- and four-cabin versions were offered and became popular around the Mediterranean.

With the demand for IOR cruiser/racers fading, the X-372 was designed without consideration towards handicap rules. A Sport version was offered with tiller steering and fractional rigging while the popular Prestige version had wheel steering, teak decks and a masthead rig.

X-One Ton Mk1

Based on the same hull as X-402, but with new deck layout, keel and rudder as well as a lighter interior and modified sail plan. The Irish owned “Alliance” finished eighth at the first One Ton Cup, with IOR’s upper rating band of 30.55 ft, sailed in La Trinité, France. In 1985 Hull 05 “Maitresse”, together with two other X-One Ton yachts, formed the first ever Danish Admiral’s Cup team and came fifth. X-One Ton “Euro” was the third best scoring individual yacht.

X-One Ton Mk 2

The successful modifications made to the X-3/4 Ton were also introduced to the X-One Ton. The prototype was nicknamed “Dolly Parton” as her measurement bumbs were quite impressive! Hull 14 “Andelstanken” won the One Ton Yachts World Championship in Mallorca in 1986, skippered by Henrik Søderlund of North Sails with tactics by Niels Ditmar from X-Yachts. The X-One Ton “Seaways” came fourth.

X-3/4 Ton Mk 2

With a modified hull (including added measurement bumps), a new semi-elliptical keel and rudder and increased stability and sail area, this version came first, second, fourth and fifth in the Three Quarter Ton Cup World Championship. A winner was born!

Production Years: 1985 — 1990 Number Built: 51 Hull Length: 10.03 m

Launched in July 1985 as a big sister to the X-79. More than 100 units were presold and initially four yachts had to be built each week to satisfy the hungry market. The X-99 became X-Yachts’ first ISAF recognized class, and still hosts annual World Championships. X-99/155 “Hong Kong X-Press” owned by X-Yachts Hong Kong importer Rick and Inge Strompf, participated in the X-99 World Championship in Copenhagen in 1987 and the following year in Vejle, Denmark, where they won the title with Volvo 70 “PUMA” skipper, Ken Read, at the helm.

Production Years: 1985 — 2004 Number Built: 605 Hull Length: 9.96 m

The first 40ft model was a true trendsetter with Hull 01 “X-Large” having its World Premiere at Copenhagen International Boatshow in January 1984. Sporting a large diameter wheel and rod rigging as standard, she was offered with both masthead and fractional rigs and opened up the more luxury oriented market for X-Yachts. The masthead version proved the most popular.

X-3/4 Ton Mk 1

Based on the hull mould of the X-102, with a new deck, keel and rudder, as well as a new interior and sail plan. Hull lamination was also improved incorporating unidirectional carbon and R-glass fibres in both hull and deck. Came fourth at the official “Three Quarter Ton Cup” in Kiel, Germany, in 1984, beaten by the first Dehler DB2.

The third model was a scaled down X-102, and was designed to race in the popular Half Ton class. Won the World Championship for production half tonners in 1983 in Hankö, Norway.

Production Years: 1982 — 1988 Number Built: 153 Hull Length: 9.25 m

The second X-Yachts model launched was a true cruiser/racer sporting a centre cockpit. It was designed for IOR’s 3/4 Ton upper rating limit of 24.55ft. Hull 07, “Soldier Blue”, won the 3/4 Ton World Championship in 1981 and was skippered by Ib Ussing Andersen, helmed by Jens Christensen with tactics by Lars Bo Ive, all now of North Sails fame. In 1982 “Lille du” won the same title and gave X-Yachts a head start in the international yachting arena.

X-Yachts X-41 review: from the archive

Although they are clearly from the same stable, Niels Jeppesen has given her a deep T-keel for stability.

But the X-Yachts X-41 carries a comparatively lower sail area than her sister.

The reason for this, according to Jeppesen, is that the X-Yachts X-35 was designed specifically to establish a class in the Mediterranean, requiring plenty of sail to cope with light conditions.

Choosing to market her as a one-design has also let X-Yachts fit her with all the toys as standard – carbon spars, wheel and some tidy line handling arrangements.

The deck layout of the X-Yachts X-41 rewards close scrutiny.

There’s an abundance of tweaks to be made, with barber haulers for the head sail and spinnaker sheets and powerful outhaul, cunningham and kicker purchases led to camcleats on both sides of the coach roof.

The mainsheet is led under the side decks to the aft pair of cockpit winches, avoiding any trip or chafe problems for crew sitting out.

A powerful traveller runs the full width of the cockpit within easy reach of the helm or the main trimmer.

Both mainsheet and traveller lines are continuous, the traveller line routed through small blocks clipped to the guard wires to keep it to hand.

Backstay adjustment is through X-­Yachts’ patented Magic Wheel, as fitted to the IMX40, IMX45 and most recently the X-35.

This impressive system uses a huge drum below decks to provide most of the purchase, allowing rapid backstay adjustment simply by pulling a lot of line.

It’s tidy and quicker than hydraulics and is routed conveniently through a small tube which emerges just below the centre of the traveller.

The innovations don’t stop there. X-Yachts have fitted Harken’s dual ­diameter Quattro winches to the coachroof, which allow fast sheeting of the spinnaker sheets via the large ­diameter drum or a lower gear by simply shifting the line up to the main drum and self-tailer.

The big carbon wheel was comfy to use from either side of the cockpit and offered a good view forward.

Lifting the GRP cover below the helmsman’s feet reveals another clever detail – the quadrant is immediately abaft the helm and as close to the centre of the wheel as possible, allowing short cables to be used and eliminating slack.

All good in theory, but does it work on the water? In a word, yes.

The X-Yachts X-41 is a thoroughbred racer which is already showing her class – the team won the first race of the Warsash Spring Series by 15 minutes on corrected time.

We sailed the boat twice; once for the second race of the series, then later for a detailed test.

On the first occasion, the wind ranged from 30-38 knots, giving us a fast run to the course and race organisers the jitters.

A stiff performer

They cancelled the race, but skipper Jochem Visser suggested we should go for a sail anyway.

It was a bumpy ride upwind under reefed main and jib, conditions that the hull’s steel reinforcement, which picks up rig and keel load, is designed to counteract.

Turning for the spinnaker run, we drove the boat hard, surfing down waves to reach speeds up to 15 knots.

The 12 crew were necessary to sail and balance the boat in these conditions and proved that the large cockpit could work well when fully crewed.

The second session couldn’t have been more different – bright sunshine and light winds averaging six knots.

The crew of 12 were essential for spinnaker work and helpful weight on the wind.

Sailing upwind and sacrificing a little height for power, the X-Yachts X-41 turned in a more than respectable five to six knots, often matching or exceeding the true wind speed.

She responded well to crew placement, delivering much better helm balance with plenty of weight to leeward.

The big carbon wheel was comfy to use from either side of the cockpit and offered a good view forward, and there were plenty of brace points for the helmsman whatever the steering position.

Helming was finger-light yet positive – the boat responded well to small corrections and the steering system showed no slack.

Even in these light airs, feedback was good and she proved easy to keep in the groove.

Upwind in 30 knots: the X-41 proved a good all-rounder.

Tacking is fast and straightforward thanks to the non-overlapping rig.

Bearing away and hoisting a symmetric spinnaker, we nudged seven knots, reaching as the wind filled in slightly. Again, she proved positive to handle, rewarding puffs of wind with good acceleration.

Under engine the 41 performed well, cruising at over eight knots and reaching just over nine knots flat out.

As can be expected from her narrow keel. the turning circle was tight – 1.25 boat lengths – and performance astern was secure and positive.

Although primarily a racing boat, the X-Yachts X-41 still offers a few cruiser comforts.

The cockpit is a good width for bracing and deep enough to feel secure, and has two good lockers for fenders and lines plus a large lazarette accessed through the floor behind the helm.

The racing foil on the headstay can be replaced with roller-reefing gear with the drum mounted below deck. But the really neat concession to cruising is the anchor box.

X-Yachts’ system lets you fit an anchor well and windlass which can be entirely removed when racing, using a fully sealed hatch to prevent water ingress. It’s not a quick job, admittedly, but impressive nonetheless.

Light and welcoming

The interior layout is similar to that of the X-35, but the extra length has allowed a few welcome changes, notably a larger galley, forward-facing nav station and doors and lockers for the aft cabins.

Yet the first impression below is of simplicity – there’s a light, welcoming feel thanks to teak being restricted to necessary joiner work, a generous use of white and lots of opening lights and hatches.

Starting at the bow, there’s a zippered, mesh panel which opens into an empty bow cavity suitable for sail stowage, but would be filled with the anchor box when cruising.

The forecabin has a conventional triangular berth, its split mattress easily moved to allow access beneath the berth.

The hatches which offer access to this stowage space are too narrow to accept anything but the smallest sails, but provide plenty of stowage for other objects.

Other stowage is provided by a large locker with hanging and shelving space. Both aft cabins feature a similar locker.

The heads and shower are basic, but practical.

Forward and accessed through the saloon, the heads is large enough for showering and has a large locker behind the usual mirrored doors ­ the space below the sink is left open.

The saloon has two long settees either side of a drop-leaf table.

As on the X-35, the seat backs hinge upwards, giving access to the full width of the cushions when sleeping.

It’s a shame no extra cushion is provided, so that the hinged section can double as an upper berth.

That said, because the boat is able to sleep ten, few people are likely to find this restricting.

Plenty of white makes a bright interior.

The settee cushions and their plywood bases also hinge up to allow access to the water tank to port and diesel tank to starboard, plus limited stowage. Grab handles below the portlights run throughout the saloon.

A large nav station is at the foot of the companionway, with plenty of space for paper and electronic navigation.

Stowage is in a stack of four drawers in the pedestal and there’s even a handy pen box under a flap in the chart table top.

Opposite, the galley is large enough for standard cooking and has good stowage above the stove.

However, less successful is the stack of four drawers adjacent to the stove – with an inside width of only 9cm, you have to wonder how useful they will be.

The simple aft cabins have a large locker each and berths that are mounted low in the boat, with little space beneath.

A pipecot is also fitted should you need to squeeze three people into each cabin.

The engine box, which protrudes into both cabins, can be readily removed, as can the companionway steps, to provide superb all-round engine access.

For sheer adrenalin, the X-Yachts X-41 takes the honours. She’s fast and fun, and rewards careful trim and handling with clear returns of speed.

The big rig, deep draught and high sail area/displacement creates a stiff, responsive yacht that can put a smile on your face and some results on the board.

My guess is that X-Yachts X-41’s will spend most of their time in racing mode.

That said, just as many a sports car driver has never been near a track, several owners of the 40 or so boats already pre-sold admitted that they never plan to race at all.

Northern Marine launched MAGIC in 2005 with exterior and Interior design by Ward Setzer. Her 6.6-foot (2m) shallow draft allows this luxury yacht to venture to the most beautiful islands. MAGIC’s staterooms include a full-beam master suite on the main deck with a walk-in dressing room, it’s own laundry room, Jacuzzi bathroom and a study, which connects the suite to the lobby. Further guest suites are located forward and aft on the lower deck and include a VIP stateroom, two double cabins and a twin cabin complete with en-suites. MAGIC also accommodates seven crew.

MAGIC showcases a sophisticated and traditional interior. The superyacht interior is filled with light from large deck windows, which beautifully highlight the fluted column details in the satin-finished raised-panel Honduran mahogany, which contrasts beautifully against her light furnishings and marble features.

Guests can choose one of MAGIC’s many lovely spaces to relax and unwind, from a protected aft deck lounge to a comfortable main salon which is connected to the deck space by glass sliding doors.

MAGIC’s elegant and formal dining room seats 10. Guests will love the bespoke menus prepared by the yacht’s chef.

Charter yacht MAGIC was designed for entertaining and her sundeck certainly provides a fantastic space for this. The sundeck features a Jacuzzi surrounded by a glass-topped bar/grill, plenty of cushioned sunpads and loungers.

Motor Yacht

Luxury motor yacht Magic, built in 2004 by American shipyard Northern Marine, sees a contemporary departure for the company who usually builds heavy, trawler-style vessels. With a fibreglass hull and superstructure she features interior and exterior design by Setzer Design Group. This elegant vessel measures 39.62 metres and can accommodate up to 10 guests.

Motor yacht Magic was the largest built by Northern Marine at her launch although she has since been succeeded by the 46 metre Lia Fail. Owners Merlin and Carolyn Hanson requested she be created to reflect a high-speed vessel with a displacement hull easily used in shallow waters. To accommodate this request the luxury vessel was designed with a 6' 10" shallow draft ideal for island cruising, and she is powered by MTU 12V-2000's with 1480 horsepower that ensure she is both economical and high-performing.

The super yacht is spread over three decks and her layout ensures extensive space is created for all staterooms as well as focusing on generous inside and outdoor public areas. The interior is a reflection of the traditional yachts of the 1930s, using timeless details like fluted columns and intricate mouldings to set-off satin-finished raised-panel mahogany. The interior design is highly personalized, featuring significant input by Carolyn Hanson and a handpicked group of stylists.

On the main deck can be found a large sheltered aft deck lounge that connects to the main salon through sliding glass doors. The formal dining salon is also located on this level, serviced by a large and well-equipped gourmet galley. Besides the guest accommodation, the lower deck also houses a guest laundry room and a large walk-in luggage locker tucked neatly beneath the curved staircase descending from the main-deck foyer.

Designed with entertainment in mind, motor yacht Magic’s exterior spaces are a highlight of her design. Particularly noteworthy is the open sun deck fitted with bar/grill area and a large spa tub. The bridge deck is accessed via a stairway that delivers guests to a lobby equipped with a dayhead and dumbwaiter service area. Aft can be found the bridge deck lounge; a covered space boasting lounging cushions and teak decking.

Amongst her five cabins are an indulgent owner’s suite; two King staterooms; one Queen stateroom; and one double/twin cabin. Located forward on the main deck, the full-beam owner’s suite features a generous walk-in dressing room, laundry room, and a private bathroom with Jacuzzi. A neat office connects the suite to the entrance lobby. The two King staterooms are located aft on the lower deck, while the two remaining guest suites are found forward. Each includes marble en suite baths.

Featuring a dedicated crew, Magic cruises comfortably at 15 knots while her crew of seven under the direction of Captain Dave Ober ensure the needs of every guest are met.

Motor yacht Magic is an award winning vessel, winning the 2005 Pacific Northwest Superyacht Society Design Award.

Rossinavi delivers first 43m hybrid-electric catamaran Seawolf X

Rossinavi has delivered its "most innovative project" to date, the 42.8-metre hybrid-electric catamaran named Seawolf X . She has departed the shipyard's facilities in Viareggio, Italy and is now anchored near the Greek island of Tinos according to BOATPro .

Exterior design is by Fulvio De Simoni Yacht Design , marking the first project presented by the pair since the 49.1-metre Aurora in 2017. It also marks Rossinavi's first multihull project.

A key characteristic of the model is her three "performance scenarios". On one-day trips, Seawolf X can cruise in full-electric mode for 100 per cent of the time; on multi-day trips, she can cruise for 90 per cent; and on transatlantic trips, she can still cruise in electric mode for 80 per cent of the time. When the catamaran is moored, a "hibernation mode" activates for reduced consumption – with the energy generated able to be given back to the quay or to a private property. She can recharge at the shore in five hours and supplies enough energy to charge up an entire villa.

Rossinavi has also developed an onboard artificial intelligence system, called Rossinavi AI, to analyse the operation of the vessel, predict the needs of guests and communicate with the crew on "lower-impact behaviours" and "conscious cruising". The AI can also monitor the battery pack to keep it in a range of 20 to 80 per cent.

Her exterior is low-profiled and reminiscent of a sports car, with Fulvio De Simoni Yacht Design seeking "to liberate their minds from preconceptions" around catamaran design. The team also integrated solar panels into Seawolf X and addressed hull efficiency by developing "lightweight solutions", including an anchor installation that meets weight standards while enhancing aesthetics.

New York-based design firm Meyer Davis have created an interior that "complements the cutting-edge yacht to bring relaxed luxury and sustainable design to its forefront," the shipyard said. The decor takes inspiration from nature, in particular the sun, the sea and sand.

Leisure highlights include a convivial cockpit centred around a pool, an expansive sundeck with sunbathing and living spaces, and a bow area that features a hidden pool and convertible home theatre. Accommodation is for up to 10 guests in four cabins located in the hulls.

"After years of study and construction, it is now a source of satisfaction and pride for us to witness the launch of project Sea Cat, now Seawolf X , the first hybrid-electric multihull vessel," said Federico Rossi, COO of Rossinavi at the time. "This yacht showcases remarkable technological innovations in both power management and propulsion technologies, marking the beginning of a new chapter in next-generation vessels." 

Seawolf X also carries the BlUE label, the shipyard' "sustainable" design philosophy established in 2022. Inspired by phytoplankton, the BlUE fleet absorbs sunlight during the day and utilises photovoltaic technology to convert it into energy. This energy is stored in advanced batteries and released at night, creating a bioluminescent effect "akin to glowing plankton".

Seawolf X is available for charter with Cecil Wright from €380,000 per week.
