After 13 years, the Skates finally return to St George Sailing Club in December 2024 for the 66th Skate National Championship.

Congratulations to the 2023-24 season National Champions - Greg Paterson and Yianni Foufas from St George Sailing Club, NSW on their red and white speedster 972 - What Now.
That makes it back-to-back titles for Greg and Yianni, and Greg's third National Championship win.
Runners-up were Steve Hudson and Bodhi De Freitas from East Fremantle Yacht Club, Western Australia, on 945 - End of the Road, with Brett Fannon and Cam Fannon from also from East Fremantle on 984 - Last Crack - finishing third.
Top quality boat preparation and the experience of the leading crews meant spectators were treated to close racing every day in the challenging Swan River summer conditions.
A big thank you to the sailing officials and volunteers from East Fremantle Yacht Club, and the series sponsors, for making the 65th Skate National Championship a series to remember.

Welcome to East Fremantle Yacht Club, a place where family and friends can gather to enjoy both sporting and social events. Our Yacht Club has been located on the banks of the Swan River since 1933 and with our amazing facilities, we are one of the top sailing clubs in Perth.
East Fremantle Yacht Club offers a range of memberships, superb facilities and a variety of activities for the whole family. So, whether you are a boat owner or not, as a member, you will be able to enjoy the facilities our amazing clubhouse offers. This includes access to sailing courses & racing, social events, the bar & restaurant, gymnasium, sauna, pens and moorings, depending on your level of membership.
