Load Rite galvanized catamaran trailers provide exceptional durability and performance for the long haul with heavy-duty galvanized steel construction and advanced frame designs. All models feature our patented tubular frame design, which protects brake lines and wiring and conceals U-bolts for a streamlined look. Our bunk system provides exceptional security and support and easy loading and unloading.

Standard features include galvanized steel frame, torsion axles, bead-balanced radial tires (13″ diameter and above), LED lights,  and Quick-Slide® bunk covers. A generous option list let you customize a trailer to suit your boat and your budget.

MODELS & SPECIFICATIONS

Galvanized Steel Frame

Tubular structural steel, fully hot dip galvanized, provides the ultimate finish for any boat trailer.  Tubular design shrouds wiring and brake lines from damage.  All machining and welding is performed before galvanizing, so there are no surfaces left unprotected from a boat trailer’s ultimate enemy: corrosion.

Torsion Axles

Torsion axles provide independent suspension, exceptional rigidity, corrosion resistance, and a far superior ride to any leaf spring suspension.  Available on most models.

Greaseable Hubs

Trailer with peace of mind knowing that you’ve inspected the condition and topped off the lubricant level in each hub of your trailer.

Disc Brakes (Where Installed)

This trailer is equipped with disc brakes (where installed).  Load Rite recommends disc brakes on all wheels where available.  Disc brakes are self-adjusting and self-cleaning and require minimal maintenance in order to continue to deliver top performance.  Follow maintenance tips in your Owners Manual for more detailed instructions.

Radial Tires

Tow smoother, quieter, and farther with radial tires installed on your trailer.  Original equipment on Load Rite Elite 5 STARR models with 13″ and larger wheels except skiff and pontoon models.  Optional on all pontoon and skiff / jon models.  Includes  KENDACARE – LOADSTAR TIRE ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM .

Bias-Ply Tires

High quality USDOT-rated tires.  Standard on all 5 STARR, pontoon, skiff and jon models, and models 90″ wide and narrower.  Easily upgraded to radial tires at time of order.  Includes  KENDACARE – LOADSTAR TIRE ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM .

Balanced Wheels 13″ and Larger

CounterAct Wheel Bead Balancing is now included on all 13″ and larger wheel assemblies as a standard feature.  The wheels dynamically balance during each use. Visit counteractbalancing.com for more information.

LED Lighting (90″ and Wider Models)

LED lights offer far greater reliability than incandescent fixtures.  Long-lasting and waterproof design make these lights ideal for any trailer application.

Heat-Shrunk Sealed, Concealed Wiring

Standard equipment on all trailers 17′ and longer except welded frame models.

One-piece aluminum fender

Stylish one-piece aluminum diamond-plate fender design is featured on all tandem and triaxle boat trailers.

Plastic Fenders

Impact-resistant plastic fenders on models with 12″ and smaller wheels.  Wheels 13″ and larger require aluminum fenders.

Quick-Slide® Bunk Covers

These multi-purpose covers provide a smooth surface to help the boat or pontoon to slide easier when launching and loading.  They also offer an insulating barrier to help prevent corrosion for metallic hulled craft.  Highly recommended for pontoon applications.

Thermal Plasticized Roller (TPR)

TPR (Thermal Plasticized Rubber) rollers are smooth-rolling, non-marking and wear like polyurethane.  Yellow rollers are standard on Load Rite Elite models while 5 STARR models feature the same material colored gray.

Tongue Jack

Tongue jacks are standard equipment on all Load Rite Elite models 90″ wide and wider except two-place PWC models, all 5 STARR models, and all UT, EQ, and CH models.  Appearance and specifications vary by application.  Tongue jacks are optional on all other models.

A winch is standard equipment on all boat and PWC models.  Capacity and features vary by application.

Aluminum Wheels

A stylish option available with bias-ply or radial tires for most models in 12″, 13″, 14″, 15″ and 16″ sizes.

Smoother riding and longer wear life than many bias-ply tires.  A highly recommended upgrade.  Available for 13″ and larger wheels.

Spare Tire and Carrier

The most important option to consider, every trailer should have a spare tire readily available.  Consult dealer for recommended bracket for individual application.

Brakes on All Axles

Important Safety Issue – Brake Requirements   

Brake laws vary by state and require dealers to sell trailers that comply with the brake laws of the state where the trailer will be registered.  This is a very important safety issue .  For full information contact the appropriate state Motor Vehicle Department.  As always, Load Rite recommends brakes on all axles where available.

Stainless Steel Disc Brakes

Optional stainless steel brakes available for most 14″, 15″ and 16″ wheel applications. Can be used with surge and electric over hydraulic actuators.*

May require optional axle installation.  Check with your local dealer before ordering.

Stainless Brakelines

A valuable upgrade to any trailer, but especially those to see service in coastal regions with salt water exposure.

Electric Over Hydraulic Brakes

EOH brakes offer electric in-cab control of standard hydraulic disc brakes.  Requires in-cab controller and 7-pin round electrical connection to the tow vehicle.

Tongue jacks are recommended on all trailers.  Appearance and specifications vary by application.  Tongue jacks are optional on all models where not original equipment.

Drop-Style Tongue Jack

An upgraded jack that provides greater capacities and fast setup with no need to swivel.

I was all set to purchase a load rite trailer. I was going to get the 15-17' 2,200 lbs trailer. Brand new. it was going to cost about 1500. <br /><br />then i called around and got a price quote on a venture trailer. it was about 500 cheaper for a 17-18 foot with the same weight rating. I asked if there was a difference in quality, and the man said he sold both and Venture ones were less cosmetically appealing, but of the same galvi quality. <br /><br />any thoughts?

Re: Load Rite vs. Venture I have a load rite galvinized that gets dunked in salt water. Have been using it for two full seasons, and the finish is holding up very well. I do hose the trailer when I wash down the boat after a day on the water. Had to replace the air pocket type lights and side running lights with LED's. Otherwise, no complaints.

Re: Load Rite vs. Venture The only difference I can see between the two models is the Load Rite has keel rollers and the Venture does not. <br /><br />I know the metal thickness spec is available on the Load Rite, this is an area that where there can be differences that count.<br /><br />All things being equal, I would go for a $500 savings.  

Re: Load Rite vs. Venture thanks, i think that's what i am going to do. it just doesn't seem to make sense. the dealer i talked to on the phone said he recently stopped selling the load rites because they were the same thing but much more costly. <br /><br />As for keel rollers, i am getting a bunked trailer either way, so that shouldn't matter.

Re: Load Rite vs. Venture Last season I replaced an old EZ Loader with a new Venture for our 20' Cuddy... Love the trailer! I don't know if this is standard on all trailers now, but I really like the hose attachment to flush out the braking system. Just my 2 cents...

Re: Load Rite vs. Venture Have triple-axle Venture bunk with drums. Very plain trailer, no keel protection at forward most cross member near winch stand, so made my own. Otherwise seems to be a sturdy unit.
