Who Is Bobbi Althoff? All About the Influencer Who's Interviewed Drake and Lil Yachty

Bobbi Althoff went viral for interviewing Drake in his bed on her podcast, 'The Really Good Podcast'

lil yachty funny marco interview

Bobbi Althoff went from posting mom content regularly to interviewing famous rappers in a matter of two years.

The 27-year-old influencer began posting videos on TikTok in 2021, mainly focusing on content surrounding her children and her pregnancy experiences. However, she skyrocketed to fame in 2023 when she began her podcast, The Really Good Podcast .

So far, Althoff has interviewed rappers Drake and Lil Yachty , businessman Mark Cuban , actor Rick Glassman and YouTuber Funny Marco, among others.

Known and beloved for her deadpan humor and for intentionally making her interviewees uncomfortable, Althoff has amassed over 8 million TikTok followers and more than 1 million subscribers on her YouTube channel , where she posts her podcast episodes.

However, since her success, some have questioned who Althoff is and how she rose to fame so quickly, prompting rumors that she is an “industry plant” — someone who is secretly being backed by the industry to help them achieve success.

In response to the gossip, Althoff posted a video of herself dancing awkwardly to Nicki Minaj and Ice Spice ’s “Barbie World,” with the caption, “Celebrating because the industry planted me.”

So, who is Bobbi Althoff? Here’s everything to know about the TikTok influencer and podcaster.

She started posting on TikTok in 2021

Althoff began posting regularly on TikTok in 2021, focusing mainly on content surrounding being a mom. Her early TikToks revolved around her pregnancy with her second daughter and motherhood.

In one of her first public TikToks from July 2021, Althoff wrote “when people choose to have their kids in their 20’s instead of waiting till they are at least 35+” over a video of herself mouthing the lyrics to Minaj's "Grindin'." She sings along to the words “dang little mama you is such a loser” repeatedly, seemingly mimicking people who have made comments to her about being a young mom, asking, “Why waste your youth?” in the caption.

She continued posting videos through 2022, mainly of her pregnancy, like clips of her dancing and struggling in the heat at Disneyland .

In the latter, she joked how she was "10 months pregnant" and at the theme park in the June heat.

“I was hoping that I’d be able to walk her out or something but that doesn’t feel like it’s happening,” she said. “She’s never coming, I will be pregnant for the rest of my life and that’s just something I’m going to have to accept.”

She was married for four years

Bobbi and Cory Althoff wed on Jan. 31, 2020, and share two children. Sadly, in February 2024, Cory filed for divorce and listed July 4, 2023, as the date of the couple's separation.

"As sad as I am right now, I am so thankful for the time I got to be his wife," Bobbi wrote on Instagram after the news broke. "While our relationship did not work out as husband and wife, we will always be friends and I will always love him ."

The exes finalized their divorce within a matter of months. Bobbi and Cory determined that neither party would pay spousal support or child support and agreed to joint legal custody of their two daughters.

According to his LinkedIn , Cory is a programmer who works as a senior vice president at CompTIA and is a published author of two books about self-teaching computer science and coding.

She shares two children with Cory

Althoff has two daughters, whom she refers to as Concrete and Richard, in an effort to keep their names and identities private. While she never shows their faces, she has featured her younger child on her TikTok since the baby was born in June 2022.

In her younger daughter's first appearance, Althoff posted a video of herself just a few weeks after giving birth as she got ready with the newborn to do chores.

“I’m gonna baby wear her so that I can get some laundry done and just get some stuff done around the house,” she said in the TikTok.

Sticking with the bit that she named her daughter Concrete, Althoff responded with a video to a comment in November 2022 of someone critiquing her name choice.

“I don’t see anything wrong with the name Concrete,” she said. “It is a pretty common word so I don’t understand why it would not make a good name. My daughter is going to be a very strong woman with a very strong name for her.”

She continued, “I grew up in the construction business and I just always wanted my daughter to have some ties to myself so yes her name is Concrete Sawdust Althoff so I encourage you guys to think outside the box when naming your children because the future will be a better place if we stop caring about what we name our littles.”

Althoff has since deleted all her videos with her children, explaining on the BFFs podcast that she didn't want them to have a digital footprint.

"I'm so happy I [deleted the videos], especially since I made that decision before [the podcast] because I don't want them to have the digital footprint that I've created," she said. "Now when they go public and they're not with me, I don't have to worry so that's good."

She started her podcast in April 2023

Althoff debuted her podcast, The Really Good Podcast, in April 2023, and one of her first guests was Tammin Sursok, who played Jenna on Pretty Little Liars . Althoff cemented her signature awkward, confrontational style when one of her first questions was, “So you were on a show called Pretty Little Liars . Was the lie that you’re pretty?”

Months later, Althoff revealed on the BFFs podcast that she used to drive to Los Angeles once a week and would pay influencers $300 to join her podcast.

Since then, she has welcomed various other influencers and stars on her podcast, including TikTok star Morgan Presley and Not Dead Yet actor Rick Glassman.

In an April TikTok promoting her podcast, Althoff wrote about how starting a podcast was always a dream of hers.

“I’ve always dreamed of having my own podcast…So I filmed a pilot episode…,” she wrote. “Everyone I showed it to said it was awful..They said I wouldn’t secure celebrity guests anymore…That no one would watch it … But I proved them wrong … It got 6 views and my famous neighbor agreed to do an episode….Don’t give up on your dreams. Ever.”

In an interview with TODAY in August 2023, Althoff said she got the idea to start a podcast using the "dry humor" character she's known for — and emphasized that's not how she is in real life.

A week later, Althoff shared with Cosmopolitan how she doesn't prepare too much for her interviews — but thinks her awkward style is what makes them special.

“ There’s no prep, and that’s the fun of it,” she explained. “I think that’s why celebrities are down to do it. They know it’s a character, and we just wing it. It’s not a real interview. I’m not trying to get hard-hitting information about you — I’m not trying to uncover anything. It’s just a conversation. It’s really a parody of a good interview.”

She interviewed Drake and Lil Yachty in July 2023

After over 2 million views on her interview with YouTuber Funny Marco, Althoff had already gone viral. But her fame escalated when she teased that the next episode of her podcast would be with Drake.

On TODAY, Althoff said that the interview came about when Drake saw her episode with Funny Marco and liked the video and followed her.

"When I saw he followed me, I was like I'm gonna ask," she said. She proceeded to direct message him, and three days later, she was interviewing him in bed.

Her full 1-hour long interview on YouTube, which was released on July 20, 2023, garnered over 9 million views. During her conversation with the star, Althoff maintained her stoic, quiet tone the entire time and did not appear impressed with Drake — nor the fact that they were conducting the interview in a bed.

"The idea behind it was it would be a funny thing that you wanted to do it so bad that you bothered him while he was going to bed to do it," she explained on TODAY. "Now we do all my podcasts in random locations."

During one particularly jokingly tense moment, Althoff asked Drake not to drink while she interviews him. “It’s a nightcap!” he said. “It’s sad,” she replied.

Just weeks after she interviewed Drake, however, fans noticed that the Certified Lover Boy rapper and the podcast host had unfollowed each other on Instagram, and Althoff took down her interview with him from all her platforms.

The unfollowing came just days after Althoff posted a TikTok of herself attending Drake's concert in L.A. where she stood in the crowd with her arms crossed with her signature deadpan expression as people danced around her. “Really in my element @ this guy’s concert,” she jokingly captioned the post.

In July 2023, Althoff also posted another hour-long interview with rapper Lil Yachty where the two joked about being young parents, fame and their careers. In the middle of the interview, Drake even called Lil Yachty and shouted hello to Althoff.

“What’s up Bobbo?” Drake said as Lil Yachty turned the phone toward her.

In August 2023, she interviewed Mark Cuban.

She shared that her podcast popping off was "crazy." "I always wanted it to blow up obviously, you hope for something but it's crazy when it actually happens," she said.

Shaquille O'Neal asked her on a date

When Shaquille O'Neal was chatting with Funny Marco on an episode of The Big Podcast with Shaq, the rumors that Marco and Althoff have been dating came up, and Marco refused to answer the NBA legend's question about how long they had been dating.

O'Neal took matters into his own hands and called Althoff on camera to ask her out on a date.

"I'm sitting here with Funny Marco. He told me to ask you on a date , so can I take you to the movies?" he asked, to which she replied, "Sure."

Funny Marco Names His Favorite Hip-Hop Albums of 2023

Hip-Hop Junkie Awkward interviews with rappers are all the rage and Funny Marco is a master. Comedic social media personalities are more popular than ever before. Enter Marco “Funny Marco” Summers, a Kansas City, Mo. native, known for his funny Instagram pranks and viral moments on social media. Interview: Aleia Woods Editor’s Note: This story appears in the Winter 2023 issue of XXL Magazine, on now.

With an awkwardly uncomfortable style of interviewing, Marco has gone viral with guests including DaBaby , Sexyy Red , Lil Yachty , G Herbo and Southside and more. Funny Marco ’s humor has since transcended to his own show, titled Open Thoughts , on YouTube, where he can be deemed a trailblazer of the awkward and uncomfortable style of interviewing. Nonetheless, Marco ultimately strives to create lighthearted moments with all of his guests.

Marco, 30, recently spoke with XXL about rap’s impact on his style of comedy, Drake’s For All the Dogs album, virality and more.

XXL : Which rap album would you say best describes your style of comedy?

Funny Marco: Get Rich or Die Tryin’ .

Why would you say that album in particular?

Because you get a mix of a lot of things. You get a mix of love songs, you get a mix of pain, you get a mix of thinking and you got a mix of just trying shit. You got “In Da Club,” “21 Questions” and the list goes on. That’s just my favorite album because it was different emotions and it showed us versatile 50 Cent .

Which artists are you currently listening to?

My top artists, I got Nipsey Hussle . I love Nipsey Hussle. I can listen to him over and over. Kodak Black is also one of my tops. I love Rod Wave as well. I love Doja Cat ’s album. Fridayy . It just goes on. I like Young Thug ’s Business Is Business , Drake. I like to listen to a lot of Don Toliver .

What do you think are the top albums that dropped this year?

You got Gunna [ A Gift and a Curse ]. You gotta throw Thug [ Business Is Business ] in there. You got Drake [ For All the Dogs ]. I really like the Drake album. We got Fridayy [self-titled album] in there.

For Drake’s album, some people weren’t happy with it. Some people loved it. Was it what you were expecting from him?

For one, the albums be for the artist, not us. But it’s just something that we tagged along and liked. I feel like Drake is making albums for him and what he’s used to. Even to make a dope song with Sexyy Red, that’s amazing. And with that being said, I really feel like he catered to R&B and he catered to dope beats. I feel like it was art. This is like painting art, a picture. I just want to be able to get in my feelings, get out my feelings, party.

When it comes to Drake, people have a certain expectation.

But we’re talking about people that ain’t never going to be able to touch the albums. So, how are you going to have expectations on something that you’re not close to? That’s like me going into Popeyes and telling them they need to work harder and leave. Like, muthaf**ka, you’re not in here with us. So, who am I to come in here and tell Drake he needs to work harder on more albums?

You recently interviewed G Herbo and Southside, and a lot of people thought that they were disrespectful to you. Anything you want to say about that?

No, because I feel like in our society, if I was to ever do something wrong, that clip would have came up or we would have had a guest speak out. So, the fact I didn’t sit down with a lot of people that they try to paint a picture to be the bad guy, where me and DaBaby had good moments and Boosie. And I sit down with real-life people that have been through things, and we walk away with good energy. It’s kinda like, some people don’t understand my narrative. At the end of the day, it’s respect on both sides and everybody have feelings. I just want everybody to win and move on. Nobody’s perfect at the end of the day. It’s just all about forgiveness. We all have moments, and as a part of my career that I’m learning from, and for me to do this and still have a good heart, that’s all that really matters at the end.

Who is Bobbi Althoff? The TikToker who seemingly went from obscurity to having to shut down rumors she hooked up with rapper Drake

  • Bobbi Althoff has taken over TikTok — and social media at-large — with her alluringly awkward podcast clips.
  • She has only produced a handful of episodes, but they include big names like Drake and Lil Yachty.
  • Before making her comedic podcast, "The Really Good Podcast," she found fame as a mom influencer.

Insider Today

25-year-old Bobbi Althoff is quickly becoming one of the biggest and most polarizing podcasters of the year.

Althoff first became known as a mom influencer on TikTok (or a MomToker) before privatizing her account and reemerging with comedic content. Clips from her podcast "The Really Good Podcast" have amassed tens of millions of views on the app. Since launching the podcast in 2021, she's managed to score A-list interviews with Drake and Lil Yachty, among others, in a shockingly short amount of time.

The quick rise in success has also led some to accuse the influencer and host of being an industry plant .

Along with her star-studded guests, Althoff herself has become famous (or infamous, rather) for a deliberately deadpan persona. Her interviews aren't in the traditional Q&A format; they're dry and intentionally awkward, like episodes of Nathan Fielder's surreal comedy "Nathan For You." The influencer talks slowly and quietly, almost as if performing ASMR, and often instigates or leaves deliberate pauses to create discomfort. The humor of her videos is less about punch lines and more about seeing the baffled and unexpected reactions from the celebrities she interviews. Her podcast clips are often in video format, so the facial expressions of her and her guests play a crucial role.

As people are feverishly asking and googling who Bobbi Althoff is , here is what you need to know about the woman who some people feel "popped up out of thin air."

Althoff first found some success as a MomTok influencer.

lil yachty funny marco interview

Althoff first found internet fame as a mom influencer, according to TODAY . Her original account, @bobbialthon, has over 1.2 million followers but has been set to private. In the comments of a video published to her new channel, @bobbialthoff , in early 2022, she said she was turning the first account into a spam account and will be focusing full-time on comedy.

In videos that are still available to view from her old channel because of other people stitching them, she appeared to once offer sarcastic parenting advice: In one clip, she said she doesn't believe in allowing babies to crawl ; in another, she proudly said she named her daughter "Richard."

Her new channel, which has almost 5 million followers, also features videos about being a mom, with many of them documenting her pregnancy in 2021 and 2022. Similar to how she jokingly called her daughter "Richard," she said she named her second child "Concrete."

Althoff stopped posting personal life content on TikTok around April of this year, which is also when she began uploading her podcast clips.

Althoff launched her podcast in early 2023.

lil yachty funny marco interview

"The Really Good Podcast" has only had a handful of guests to date.

In an ironic twist of fate, her first guest was YouTuber Colleen Ballinger, who has faced serious  backlash this year after multiple former fans accused her of having an inappropriate relationship with them when they were underage. While Ballinger's fanbase continues to dwindle, Althoff's has grown immensely.

In one clip of the episode uploaded to her Instagram in April, Althoff and Ballinger jokingly argued about whether Althoff invited her on the podcast or if she requested to be on it. The description of the post says that the full podcast is available on Althoff's YouTube channel, but the episode appears to have since been taken down.

Her next guest was Rick Glassman, a comedian and actor known for his role in the NBC sitcom "Undateable." She's posted excerpts from the podcast to her TikTok and Instagram with deliberately combative captions like, "This d-list actor tried to get me canceled on my own podcast… "

Viewers said they actually enjoyed how stressful it is to watch her interviews, with some saying they like the idea of a host and guest fighting to make each other uncomfortable.

Althoff began to gain traction with other influencer comedians. Then Drake's appearance shocked everyone.

lil yachty funny marco interview

After Glassman, Althoff interviewed the comedian Deric Cahill and the TikToker Morgan Presley , but the podcasts appear to have been taken down except for a few stray clips.

Althoff and her podcast started going viral after featuring clips with Funny Marco, an internet-famous comedian with millions of followers on TikTok and Instagram. She uploaded nine excerpts from her video podcast with Funny Marco, which have been viewed a cumulative 70 million times. Her biggest Marco clip featured him ambiguously asking her if she "was easy," and she intentionally misinterpreted the question (as in easy to get along with).

@bobbialthoff I will be posting the rest of my interview with Drake to YouTube soon… ♬ original sound - Bobbi

She then skyrocketed in searches and popularity after releasing a long interview with Drake earlier this month. In the clips that have individually gone viral, she and the rapper are sitting under blankets in a bed, but she appears stern and indifferent towards him the entire time. In the most viewed clip of the episode, the two jokingly spar after Althoff calls Drake out for referencing his own song at one point.

Althoff's next guest will be Lil Yachty.

lil yachty funny marco interview

This week, Althoff posted a video teasing that rapper Lil Yachty would be her next guest. The teaser clip, which already has over 7 million views, features the two squabbling after Yachty imagines a future scenario where he meets her at a Pizza Hut.

"I would love to see you at a Pizza Hut takeout one day in like five years, as you're getting in your fucking Bentley, with your Chanel shades on," the rapper joked.

The podcast episode is set to premiere on Thursday.

Comments under Althoff's videos have begun to fill up with fans requesting interviews with other stars, like Tyler, the Creator, Post Malone, and Kevin Gates. Replying to a comment requesting she interview the comedian Theo Von, Althoff said, "Soon."

Amid her success, Althoff has been accused of being an "industry plant."

lil yachty funny marco interview

Althoff's sudden rise to ubiquity on social media has startled some internet users, who are now accusing her of being an industry plant, a term for people who quickly rise to fame because it's suspected they have the secret backing of industry professionals.

People are demanding to know how she quickly locked collaborations with massive celebrities like Drake and Yachty on her show. And how a white woman grew a platform to interview Black celebrities: "Does her father own Drake's masters? I'm trying to figure out how this industry plant is interviewing Drake when respected Black journalists can't even get a nod from him," one person tweeted .

Others have accused her of stealing Funny Marco's style of comedy since he has a similarly surrealist and deadpan approach.

Insider has reached out to Althoff for comment.

While she has not addressed these criticisms or allegations publicly, before her recent surge in virality, she had a sizable fanbase on TikTok for years.

After the Drake video mysteriously disappeared from Althoff's YouTube channel, rumors sparked about their friendship.

@bobbialthoff Really in my element here @ this guys concert ♬ original sound - Bobbi

On August 13, Althoff posted a video to her TikTok account which showed her standing, arms crossed, looking unimpressed at a concert while Drake could be heard performing in the background.

"Really in my element here @ this guys concert," the caption of the video read, which received over 25.7 million views.

As of a day later, the interview featuring Drake had been removed from both YouTube and Spotify, and clips featuring the same interview were deleted from Althoff's TikTok account, and fans noticed the two had also unfollowed each other on Instagram, prompting speculation they'd had a rift, Insider previously reported .

Althoff shut down rumors that she 'hooked up' with Drake, according to Instagram DMs she leaked to set the record straight.

Althoff appeared on Dave Portnoy's podcast "BFFS" on August 11 where she discussed the Drake interview.

It appears a short video was uploaded to tease the episode, which was edited to make it look as though Portnoy was about to reveal Althoff told him there had been a sexual relationship between her and Drake.

In Response, Althoff publicly revealed screenshots of what appeared to be Instagram DMs between her and Portnoy in which he had written, "My girlfriend says you hooked up with Drake and got divorced. I am saying that is not true."

Althoff responded, "I am not commenting publicly but off the record, you're right that is not true."

In a video posted to TikTok on August 17, which received 2.6 million views, Portnoy apologized for a section of his podcast where he had spoken about the private messages and wrote the clip had been edited by his social media team "to make it seem juicy which is bullshit."

Her husband filed for divorce

Bobbi Althoff with her husband, Cory.

Bobbi’s husband, Cory Althoff, filed for divorce from the influencer in February 2024 after four years of marriage.

The author cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split and is asking for joint legal and physical custody of their two kids, according to court documents obtained by Page Six.

Cory listed the date of separation as July 4, 2023 — the same month Drake was a guest on Bobbi’s podcast.

The following month, she denied speculation that she and the “Hotline Bling” rapper had a romantic fling that led to a falling out.

“As most of you have heard, Cory and I have filed for divorce,” she captioned a black-and-white Instagram snap of herself with the “Self-Taught Programmer” author.

“As sad as I am right now, I am so thankful for the time I got to be his wife. Our girls are so lucky to have him as a father & I am so lucky to be able to coparent with such an incredible father and person,” she added.

“While our relationship did not work out as husband and wife, we will always be friends and I will always love him.”

She’s a mom to two children with Cory

The estranged couple share daughters Luca and Isla, whom they welcomed in 2020 and 2022, respectively.

Though Bobbi never shows her girls’ faces on social media, she did feature her youngest daughter on TikTok while documenting her time as a newborn.

“I’m gonna baby wear her so that I can get some laundry done and just get some stuff done around the house,” she said in the clip while Isla was wrapped on her chest.

Bobbi recently deleted all videos of her little ones because she doesn’t want them to have a “digital footprint.”

“I’m so happy I [deleted the videos], especially since I made that decision before [the podcast] because I don’t want them to have the digital footprint that I’ve created,” she said on the “BFFs” podcast in August 2023.

“Now when they go public and they’re not with me, I don’t have to worry so that’s good.”

Bobbi Althoff Denies Copying Funny Marco in New Interview: ‘I Had Never Seen You At All’

Bobbi Althoff disagrees with any accusation saying she took Funny Marco ’s interview style and ran with it.

In a recent interview featuring Althoff and Marco both, as seen above, the former was asked how she feels about such comments.

“I say to that, that you took my stuff,” she joked on a recent episode of Marco’s Open Thoughts . “No, I know you didn’t. But to be fair, I couldn’t take your stuff because I had never seen you at all when I was already doing [videos].”

Per Althoff, who previously had Marco on an episode of her own Really Good Podcast series, she was actually introduced to Marco’s work through a friend who considered them both “so similar.” In fact, this was Althoff’s introduction to Marco’s interviews.

As for Marco, he shared a similar take on the topic, ultimately leading to Althoff expressing gratitude for their prior interview together having taken her “to different levels.” She also presented Marco with a gift in the form of a plastic bag full of cash.

Of course, when it comes to the interview styles employed by Althoff and Marco, it's only right to tip several hats toward the Zach Galifianakis-starring Between Two Ferns , which made its debut back in 2008. One could rather easily argue that this performance art, or at least performance art-adjacent, interview style is not exactly a recent invention. Still, plenty of Internet personalities have taken on the form and made it their own, both Althoff and Marco included.

As for the Althoff comparisons, Lil Yachty made headlines last year for playfully making fun of Marco in connection with her post-interview success.

"Were you jealous that she just surpassed you and completely obliterated your existence?" Yachty joked to Marco at the time.

If you love deadpan interviews and the art of making celebs slightly uncomfortable, what happened to Drake and Bobbi Althoff might be your cup of tea.

Bobbi Althoff is known for her super dry interviews like Amelia Dimoldenberg on Chicken Shop Date and her stints with very famous celebrities like Lil Yachty and Tyga. What made her extremely viral was her interview with Drake where she’s lying in the same bed as him. Althoff was known as a mom influencer but pivoted to her current series “The Really Good Podcast” where her first podcast guest was Colleen Ballinger. With the success of the podcast and the episode subsequently vanishing from existence, what actually happened to Drake and Bobbi Althoff? Do they have beef? Here’s what we know.

What happened to Bobbi Althoff & Drake?

What happened to Bobbi Althoff and Drake? No one knows what happened between the both of them, but it doesn’t seem like things are on good terms.

As of writing this article, Bobbi Althoff does not follow Drake and vice versa. The whole episode of “The Really Good Podcast” with Drake has been deleted. Many fans reuploaded the episode onto different social media platforms like X (formerly known as Twitter). However, clip teasers leading up to the podcast episode’s release is still up on Althoff’s Youtube.

Althoff also posted a TikTok of her at Drake’s concert in her online persona by not enjoying the concert while her two friends dance around. “Really in my element here @ this guys concert,” she captioned the post.

After the mutual unfollowing, Althoff teased a “big announcement coming next Monday” on her Instagram story. She added: “Set a reminder because you guys will not want to miss this. Nine in the morning, someone’s time zone,”  The Sun  reported.

How did Drake appear on Bobbi Althoff's podcast?

In an interview with Cosmopolitan , Althoff revealed how she got her big guests on her podcast that led to Drake’s attention. “I got a random comment on TikTok asking if I had heard of Funny Marco [a comedian also known for his dry interview style]. I took a screenshot of the comment, posted it on my Instagram Stories, and tagged him, saying, “Marco, if you want to make this girl $300, DM me.” He had over 4 million followers at the time, and I only had 500,000. I was like, He’s not going to see this. But he replied, like, a second later. So I sent the girl $300 and he came on the podcast. Our video together got so many views, and Drake Liked it. Then he followed me.”

“I decided to just go for it and shoot my shot,” she said. “I DMed Drake and asked if he wanted to be on my podcast, and he said yes. He sent me his touring schedule, and I knew that I needed to make it happen fast, so my friend and I flew to Memphis two days after the original DM was sent to record the episode.”

As a young mother, she also described how it was the first time she had to travel without her kids, “It was my first time ever leaving my kids overnight. And Drake posted a picture that we took that night and you can see the cords of my pump. I was over there just, like, pumping and stuff.” She continued, “We celebrated her birthday the weekend before, and she’s 1. She doesn’t know anything. It’s like any other day to her. People are so dramatic. They were like, You did this for Drake? I don’t even know what my parents did for my 1st birthday. They probably worked. I know that I’m a good mom. It was work, and it was very much needed.”

Bobbi Althoff Breaks Silence About Drake

Bobbi Althoff addressed her relationship with Drake after the president of Barstool Sports Dave Portnoy revealed that the podcaster didn’t sleep with Drake and that wasn’t the cause of the rift after he messaged her directly. Though the clip of what she wrote to him was bleeped out in promotional clips, Althoff came forward to reveal the DM. “I did not want to do this podcast in the first place, and now so much negativity is coming from it. I’m going to leave it alone after this but this is the uncensored dm between Dave and I,” she wrote.

“My girlfriend said you slept with Drake and are getting a divorce. I am saying that is not true,” Dave wrote to Bobbi via Instagram DM. Bobbi responded: “I’m not commenting on it publicly, but off the record, you’re right that is not true.”  The conversation ended with Portnoy adding, “I knew I was right.”

He later apologized to Althoff and put blame on his staff. “I asked her about it directly, she answered directly. Our social media team edited the clip to make it seem juicy, which is bullshit,” he wrote.

“I owe @bobbialthoff an apology,” Portnoy wrote on his Instagram story. “She’s been in the news about her and @drake unfollowing each other after doing a pod together. All sorts of rumors about it. I asked her about it directly. She answered directly. Our social media team edited the clip to make it seem juicy which is bullshit. I freaked out on Austin the second I saw it. We did her dirty.”

Your Guide to All of Bobbi Althoff's "The Really Good Podcast" Episodes

lil yachty funny marco interview

In today's world, it's fair to say that celebrity exposure has come a long way from the traditional polished late-night interviews, widespread magazine cover stories, and high-profile red carpet chats. Now more than ever, celebrities are producing their own content on different platforms and in different mediums, ranging from YouTube vlogs to podcasts. Those who don't or haven't opt for appearing on comedic interview-style shows — think "Hot Ones" from First We Feast and Amelia Dimoldenberg's " Chicken Shop Date ."

Amid the handful of celebrity interview shows, Bobbi Althoff's " The Really Good Podcast " has taken the internet by storm this summer. The podcast, which Althoff launched this year, has featured celebrities like Lil Yachty, Offset, and Tyga, to name a few. Althoff arguably exploded into the internet sphere after her sit-down with Drake in July, during which she jokingly told the "One Dance" artist that she didn't know his music and asked him to pay for her flight home — a deadpan-humor signature style that is the core of each episode.

Althoff's collaboration with Drake amassed tens of millions of views across YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok and turned her into a sensation overnight. After the episode, fans tuned into the pair's friendship, which Althoff amplified when she attended a Drake concert on Aug. 12. Just days after writing, "really in my element @ this guy's concert," in a TikTok video, though, Althoff and Drake appear to be in the midst of a fallout, with Althoff removing his episode from all podcasting platforms and her YouTube channel. The two have also unfollowed each other on Instagram, which has led many to speculate about the cause of the alleged "feud."

Since the buzz surrounding her and Drake, Althoff swiftly shut down hookup rumors in her Instagram Story on Aug. 16, sharing a DM between her and Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy that read (via Rap-Up ), "I am not commenting on this publicly but off the record, you're right that is not true."

Despite the swarm of negative attention, Althoff announced via her Instagram Story on Aug. 14 that she has a "big announcement" coming soon, so it seems fans can expect more episodes in the future.

If you want to check out Althoff's other interviews, here are all the "The Really Good Podcast" episodes!

Althoff's most recent guest, Tyga, starred on "The Really Good Podcast" on Aug. 10. The 30-minute episode features Althoff and Tyga sitting outdoors at a zoo in the company of a porcupine, during which they cover topics like Tyga's 2011 hit "Rack City" (which Drake referenced in his episode with Althoff), juice boxes, and his upcoming album.

"The Really Good Podcast": Mark Cuban

"The Really Good Podcast": Lil Yachty

From the living room of one of Lil Yachty's homes, Altoff and the rapper sat down together in a July 27 episode to casually talk about life, relationships, and music. From the very start of the interview, Lil Yachty and Altoff connect on the fact that they are the same age and dive deep into topics like getting older, being parents, the future of "The Really Good Podcast," and manifestations. The two also enjoy a plate of warm cookies during their hour-long conversation, which just adds to the fun.

"The Really Good Podcast": Armani White

While getting a foot massage, rapper Armani White and Althoff awkwardly talk to one another in the July 9 episode of "The Really Good Podcast." Despite it being Althoff's interview, White arguably takes over by asking her several questions, ranging from her favorite food to where she sees herself in the next decade. White also talks about his popular single "Billie Eilish," his favorite movie, and finances, among other things.

"The Really Good Podcast": Funny Marco

Deemed by many fans as Althoff's funniest episode, Funny Marco stole the June 23 episode of "The Really Good Podcast." A comedian and TV star/personality, Funny Marco hilariously engages with Althoff's comedic style and riffs on topics like success, fame, strawberries, tennis, and more. Marco also gets "Nicki Minaj," Althoff's favorite rapper, to freestyle over the phone.

"The Really Good Podcast": Rick Glassman

Althoff's first guest, comedian and "As We See It" actor Rick Glassman, appeared on "The Really Good Podcast" on June 1. Glassman matches her sarcasm and deadpan style of comedy the entire interview and talks about his relationship, his career, and being vulnerable as a celebrity. Touching on how she was able to secure Glassman as the first guest on her show, Althoff told Cosmopolitan , "When I started my podcast in April, I wanted to do interviews with celebrities, but I didn't know how I was going to get there. It was really hard to get guests, so I made a video on TikTok saying that I would give $300 to any person who successfully connected me to a celebrity for a podcast. Rick Glassman, the comedian, was the first person I was able to interview because somebody tagged him, and he was like, Okay, I'll do it. So I sent her $300 and did the episode with Rick Glassman."

Bobbi Althoff Addresses Why She Didn’t Tour w/ Funny Marco + Denies Stealing His Interviewing Style

lil yachty funny marco interview

Bobbi Althoff , known for her viral podcast interview with  Drake  and other celebrities, recently hashed out grievances with  Funny Marco .

On his podcast “Open Thoughts,” Funny Marco   and Bobbi Althoff discussed why they didn’t tour together and their fallout.

At some point before their joint tour, the social media influencer claimed she texted   Funny Marco  a long message to let him know she was “depressed,” but she said he “didn’t care.” Instead of being a friend to her,  Bobbi Althoff claimed the comedian unfollowed her on social media.

Known for his awkward approach to podcast interviews,  Funny Marco, born Marco Summers,  initially responded,

“That was before you texted me.”

When  Bobbi Althoff persisted, claiming “The Night” actor unfollowed her after the text message, Funny Marco jokingly admitted,

“That was not me. I was out of my body. I’m so sorry.”

Despite  Bobbi  calling the situation “f***ed up,”  Marco said he has since followed her back. Nevertheless, the internet star shared she’s in a better place mentally and would “show up” if they planned to do another tour.

Also, the pair addressed allegations in the interview that the 26-year-old copied Marco’s interview style and passed it off as hers. Bobbi  jokingly stated to  Marco , “You took my stuff,” before she later added,

“No, I honestly think that we were both doing the same thing a little different and then someone introduced me to you because they were like, ‘Oh, you guys are so similar.’ That’s the first I ever heard of you or seen you.”

The YouTube content creator then shared his opinion,

“I just feel like you being you, and I’m being me.”

Marco  explained,

“I just give props when due, and I feel like you do your job. I feel like you doing what you gotta do, and I feel like you getting where you gotta get to.”

Marco  and  Bobbi infamously did a podcast together last year on her “ Really Good Podcast” series. She credited that interview with taking her “to different levels” while expressing her appreciation for the comedian.

Despite criticism of her podcast technique, it was the jumping-off point for  Bobbi  and her career. She’s interviewed several celebrities like  Lil Yachty ,  Shaq ,  Offset , and more!

Marco  has also interviewed some of the world’s biggest celebrities, from  Nicki Minaj  to  Chris Brown  and Kevin Hart .

Watch John Cena and Funny Marco's Hilarious Exchange About Their 'Idea of the Hood'

The wrestler-turned-actor is the latest guest to appear on the internet comedian's 'Open Thoughts' show.

Over the past several months, Funny Marco has established himself as a budding star on the strength of his awkward interviews. The internet comedian's YouTube show, Open Thoughts, has featured an assortment of wild conversations with the likes of DaBaby , Lil Yachty , G Herbo , and Kevin Hart , among others.

Marco's latest interview features wrestler-turned-actor John Cena , whose appearance on Open Thoughts was highlighted by a funny exchange regarding the pair's unrelated definition of "the hood."

As seen in a preview clip taken from the upcoming interview, Marco asked Cena to share his "idea of the hood." The actor jokingly responds by describing a hooded sweatshirt.

"It is that device on the back of a sweatshirt," Cena explained. "That you pull over your head to warm your ears and the back of your neck."

After Cena tosses the question back at Marco, the YouTuber replies by naming countless types of people, objects, and situations one could expect to find in a rough neighborhood.

"Somewhere where roaches, rats, crackheads, baby mamas, baby daddys, pistols, guns, stolen cars...all of them are in the projects slash hood," Marco said.

When asked to pick between his version of the hood and Marco's, Cena doesn't waste time confirming that he'd prefer his.

Back in November, Marco sat down for a conversation with  Speedy Morman  for  360 With Speedy  at  ComplexCon , where the comedian reminisced about the first time he made money from content, which came out to $10,000.

“When you first made that first check, did it inspire you in a way? Or did it make you feel some sort of acknowledgment, like, ‘Okay, I am on the right path. I am doing what needs to be done,’” Speedy asked the comedian around the 19:00 minute mark.

“Listen, I went so crazy, I went back to [the manager] and said—’cause he gave me $6,000,” Marco explained. "I went so crazy, I went back to say, ‘Where the other [money] went?’ He said, ‘I took my percentage.’ I said, ‘Hold on, brother! I didn’t know about the percentage part.’ So I went that crazy where I didn’t really learn the business about the percentages and him doing the deal for me and everything. So I was learning as I go.”
