DISCOVER THE MODEL

Description.

The Sunreef Supreme 68 Power Gold Seahorse stands out with her superyacht living spaces including an immense, custom-designed saloon. The area was given a soothing décor with dominating white and beige tones. The fine Italian furniture and chrome details blend in perfectly with the interior, while the floor-to-ceiling glazing with doors opening onto the aft and the sides, gives the lounging space an unbelievable airiness and invite plenty of sunlight inside.

The central seating with a generous C-shaped sofa neighbouring the vast harmonica door offers a spectacular sea view. To portside, a quartz-finished bar is fitted, just a few steps away from the yacht’s well-equipped galley, occupying a part of the saloon’s bow section together with a dining table for eight. A cosy chaise longue found its way next to one of the lateral doors to create a dream lounging and reading spot. A 55’’ TV was mounted on a drop-down system, blending seamlessly with the ceiling.

Gold Seahorse accommodates for eight adult guests all together, thanks to her practical and family-friendly layout including three roomy guest cabins, all with luxurious ensuite bathrooms, clever storage, TV’s and queen size beds. The opulent master suite features a drop-down TV, a generous dressing, a toddler bed and voluminous bathroom with an elegant quartz finish.

Up on the flybridge is where the Owners and their guests like to gather for lengthy alfresco get-togethers. The sundeck’s outstanding surface offers vast seating and sunning areas with easy access to the bar. Gold Seahorse’s full-beam bow terrace, entirely finished in teak is possibly the best spot one could think of to conclude a long day in the sun.

Sunreef Supreme 68 Power Review: A Concentrated Formula

sunreef yachts supreme 68

The Sunreef Supreme 68 Power packs megayacht-rivaling spaces into 20-meters of ultra-luxury catamaran

In the world of the mighty monohulled superyacht, length overall (LOA in yachting terminology) has always been king. However, buying a yacht for its length is like purchasing a Bugatti Chiron for its ridiculous horsepower; it’s there, it can be used, but you don’t really need it. Sunreef’s Supreme 68 Power does away with the pomp, circumstance and pretentiousness of the megayacht. Instead, this 20-meter long catamaran takes the best parts of its considerably larger ocean going cousins to create what is essentially, a floating superyacht main salon, flybridge and foredeck lounge.

Sunreef Supreme 68 Power layout

Conceptualised and realized at Sunreef’s historic Gdansk shipyard, this Sunreef Supreme 68 Power is like nothing else on the water. From the off, she was built to cosset, pamper and entertain, combining an honest and modest exterior style with 3200 ft2 of custom-designed living space.

Sunreef Supreme 68

With her straightforward layout and concentrated formula, Sunreef’s designers have been able to focus on four main areas: the main salon, cabins, foredeck and flybridge, completing each to perfection. With the main salon’s curtains closed, spending anymore than a couple of minutes lounging on the large sofa will have you completely forgetting you’re floating on the water. It’s only when the curtains are opened that you’re reminded exactly where you are, and with the 68’s fully folding cockpit and side doors, you get full connection with the sea. Whether you’re at the port side bar, or taking breakfast at the 8-seater dining table, you’re only a step or two away from the ocean. Thanks to her broad catamaran design, the Supreme has a colossal beam (max width) of 10.5 meters. It’s a mind boggling amount of space for a 68-foot vessel and the Supreme even manages to combine a garage/beach club aft – unheard of in catamaran terms, as normally, the tender is mounted at the transom. During the day the huge front terrace becomes the Supreme’s focal point, mixing acres of lounging space, with the natural privacy of the foredeck.

Sunreef Supreme 68

With such a wide beam, loose furniture can be placed anywhere on deck, creating a layout of your choice. Again, for the on board sun worshippers, the Sunreef’s flybridge, with its six huge sunpads, is the perfect spot for working on that tan. Located forward of the helm, these beds are totally open to the sun’s rays, and with nothing but endless ocean and sky in front, you’ll have to be quick to reserve your spot. Behind the helm, a C-shaped sofa surrounds a fixed table and is serviced by a starboard side bar. As there is more than enough open area for absorbing some vitamin D, the lounge is thankfully covered by a large T-top. Even so, tinted panels in the roof let in plenty of natural light, with the T-top’s arch thoughtfully located behind the sofa, leaving an unobstructed view forward and out the sides. With an overall design honed for sea-air living, guests will most likely only use the cabins for freshening up, changing into their swimwear, or sleeping.

Sunreef Supreme 68

There are three VIP cabins and one Master suite housed in the 68’s ample hulls, with all four retreats following Sunreef’s iconic layout of having the King size bed facing the sea. There’s nothing quite as spiritual as waking up to the ocean outside your cabin window and on the Supreme, you don’t even have to raise your head from the pillow.

Infinite space

Each of the cabins is on suite, with the Master featuring a larger bathroom with an extended walk-in closet. What the Sunreef Supreme 68 Power does do, is offer all the trappings of a scaled down superyacht, without the waste of space. At only 20-meters long, the cabins, the main salon, foredeck and flybridge can be reached in seconds. This is a huge draw for an owner with a family, as the kids will never be more than a few steps away and with such a versatile design and comforting ambience, chances are the Sunreef Supreme 68 Power Catamaran may well become an integral part of the family.

ASK ABOUT THIS YACHT

Description.

This ultramodern power catamaran takes her name from the Greek goddess of wisdom, courage, mathematics, and arts. The Sunreef Supreme 68 Athena does draw a lot of inspiration from her patroness’s versatility. The boat’s sublime design, cutting edge technology, and pioneering character all reflect her universal spirit.

The Sunreef Supreme 68 Power Athena is a new type of luxury catamaran , representing an innovative and creative philosophy of yacht designing and engineering. Her exterior look is bold, sporty, and futuristic. With a 10.5m beam and sharp lines, her presence too is imposing.

The architecture of this electric yacht model revisits the way catamarans have been built so far. Her radical design allowed Sunreef Yachts to create an immense saloon surrounded with floor to ceiling glass – a space opening wide both onto the cockpit and passageways. The 65m² interior deck is vast enough to place a beamy master cabin in the bow with access to the front terrace – a layout solution that gained Athena’s owner’s attention. The master cabin occupying the whole front part of the deckhouse is fitted with king-size bed and offers a panoramic view. The owner’s realm also features a large desk, ample storage, a dressing room, and a master bathroom with a magic glass wall.

Athena’s saloon was given a soothing and elegant design, combining shades of light oak with glossy white and embossed Galuchat style leather finishing. Placed amidships is a vast lounge with a U-shaped sofa facing a 65’’ TV. This central seating area is surrounded with an onyx-clad bar to portside and a coffee table to starboard.

The portside hull houses the comfortable crew quarters and mess, neighboring Athena’s well-equipped galley, pantry, and storage rooms. The galley is fitted with a food elevator, serving both the saloon and flybridge. One of the power catamarans’ ample forepeaks provide an additional bed and bathroom for Athena’s crew. The bow section of the port hull is occupied by a guest cabin with twin beds and a spacious bathroom. The layout of the starboard hull features another guest cabin as well as a luxurious VIP cabin with a double bed, a sofa, a vast bathroom, and dressing area.

Athena features an immense flybridge topped with an elegant bimini. This scenic area is fitted with a mist sprayer, a bar, a barbecue, a large table for eight, and mattresses to obtain a vast dining and lounging space of 65 m 2 . The yacht’s big front terrace is a prime place to relax on the large sun pads or to enjoy a bath in the Jacuzzi.

The electric catamaran is equipped with an aft garage – featured on all the Sunreef Supreme 68. This voluminous space allows to conveniently store the 445 Williams tender, a kayak, a diving compressor, lockers, and additional freezers. The garage door, when lowered, creates an aft platform ideal for water sports.

Athena’s main navigation station is placed on the flybridge. The yacht features a powerful Volvo IPS 1050 system for a maximum of maneuverability and optimized performance. An additional joystick and aft cameras are installed to ease the mooring in crowded marinas. With 7000L of fuel capacity, this electric power catamaran enjoys all the autonomy she needs.

The Comprehensive Guide to Moscow Nightlife

  • Posted on April 14, 2018 July 26, 2018
  • by Kings of Russia
  • 8 minute read

sunreef yachts supreme 68

Moscow’s nightlife scene is thriving, and arguably one of the best the world has to offer – top-notch Russian women, coupled with a never-ending list of venues, Moscow has a little bit of something for everyone’s taste. Moscow nightlife is not for the faint of heart – and if you’re coming, you better be ready to go Friday and Saturday night into the early morning.

This comprehensive guide to Moscow nightlife will run you through the nuts and bolts of all you need to know about Moscow’s nightclubs and give you a solid blueprint to operate with during your time in Moscow.

What you need to know before hitting Moscow nightclubs

Prices in moscow nightlife.

Before you head out and start gaming all the sexy Moscow girls , we have to talk money first. Bring plenty because in Moscow you can never bring a big enough bankroll. Remember, you’re the man so making a fuzz of not paying a drink here or there will not go down well.

Luckily most Moscow clubs don’t do cover fees. Some electro clubs will charge 15-20$, depending on their lineup. There’s the odd club with a minimum spend of 20-30$, which you’ll drop on drinks easily. By and large, you can scope out the venues for free, which is a big plus.

Bottle service is a great deal in Moscow. At top-tier clubs, it starts at 1,000$. That’ll go a long way with premium vodka at 250$, especially if you have three or four guys chipping in. Not to mention that it’s a massive status boost for getting girls, especially at high-end clubs.

Without bottle service, you should estimate a budget of 100-150$ per night. That is if you drink a lot and hit the top clubs with the hottest girls. Scale down for less alcohol and more basic places.

Dress code & Face control

Door policy in Moscow is called “face control” and it’s always the guy behind the two gorillas that gives the green light if you’re in or out.

In Moscow nightlife there’s only one rule when it comes to dress codes:

You can never be underdressed.

People dress A LOT sharper than, say, in the US and that goes for both sexes. For high-end clubs, you definitely want to roll with a sharp blazer and a pocket square, not to mention dress shoes in tip-top condition. Those are the minimum requirements to level the playing field vis a vis with other sharply dressed guys that have a lot more money than you do. Unless you plan to hit explicit electro or underground clubs, which have their own dress code, you are always on the money with that style.

Getting in a Moscow club isn’t as hard as it seems: dress sharp, speak English at the door and look like you’re in the mood to spend all that money that you supposedly have (even if you don’t). That will open almost any door in Moscow’s nightlife for you.

Types of Moscow Nightclubs

In Moscow there are four types of clubs with the accompanying female clientele:

High-end clubs:

These are often crossovers between restaurants and clubs with lots of tables and very little space to dance. Heavy accent on bottle service most of the time but you can work the room from the bar as well. The hottest and most expensive girls in Moscow go there. Bring deep pockets and lots of self-confidence and you have a shot at swooping them.

Regular Mid-level clubs:

They probably resemble more what you’re used to in a nightclub: big dancefloors, stages and more space to roam around. Bottle service will make you stand out more but you can also do well without. You can find all types of girls but most will be in the 6-8 range. Your targets should always be the girls drinking and ideally in pairs. It’s impossible not to swoop if your game is at least half-decent.

Basic clubs/dive bars:

Usually spots with very cheap booze and lax face control. If you’re dressed too sharp and speak no Russian, you might attract the wrong type of attention so be vigilant. If you know the local scene you can swoop 6s and 7s almost at will. Usually students and girls from the suburbs.

Electro/underground clubs:

Home of the hipsters and creatives. Parties there don’t mean meeting girls and getting drunk but doing pills and spacing out to the music. Lots of attractive hipster girls if that is your niche. That is its own scene with a different dress code as well.

sunreef yachts supreme 68

What time to go out in Moscow

Moscow nightlife starts late. Don’t show up at bars and preparty spots before 11pm because you’ll feel fairly alone. Peak time is between 1am and 3am. That is also the time of Moscow nightlife’s biggest nuisance: concerts by artists you won’t know and who only distract your girls from drinking and being gamed. From 4am to 6am the regular clubs are emptying out but plenty of people, women included, still hit up one of the many afterparty clubs. Those last till well past 10am.

As far as days go: Fridays and Saturdays are peak days. Thursday is an OK day, all other days are fairly weak and you have to know the right venues.

The Ultimate Moscow Nightclub List

Short disclaimer: I didn’t add basic and electro clubs since you’re coming for the girls, not for the music. This list will give you more options than you’ll be able to handle on a weekend.

Preparty – start here at 11PM

Classic restaurant club with lots of tables and a smallish bar and dancefloor. Come here between 11pm and 12am when the concert is over and they start with the actual party. Even early in the night tons of sexy women here, who lean slightly older (25 and up).

The second floor of the Ugolek restaurant is an extra bar with dim lights and house music tunes. Very small and cozy with a slight hipster vibe but generally draws plenty of attractive women too. A bit slower vibe than Valenok.

Very cool, spread-out venue that has a modern library theme. Not always full with people but when it is, it’s brimming with top-tier women. Slow vibe here and better for grabbing contacts and moving on.

sunreef yachts supreme 68

High-end: err on the side of being too early rather than too late because of face control.

Secret Room

Probably the top venue at the moment in Moscow . Very small but wildly popular club, which is crammed with tables but always packed. They do parties on Thursdays and Sundays as well. This club has a hip-hop/high-end theme, meaning most girls are gold diggers, IG models, and tattooed hip hop chicks. Very unfavorable logistics because there is almost no room no move inside the club but the party vibe makes it worth it. Strict face control.

Close to Secret Room and with a much more favorable and spacious three-part layout. This place attracts very hot women but also lots of ball busters and fakes that will leave you blue-balled. Come early because after 4am it starts getting empty fast. Electronic music.

A slightly kitsch restaurant club that plays Russian pop and is full of gold diggers, semi-pros, and men from the Caucasus republics. Thursday is the strongest night but that dynamic might be changing since Secret Room opened its doors. You can swoop here but it will be a struggle.

sunreef yachts supreme 68

Mid-level: your sweet spot in terms of ease and attractiveness of girls for an average budget.

Started going downwards in 2018 due to lax face control and this might get even worse with the World Cup. In terms of layout one of the best Moscow nightclubs because it’s very big and bottle service gives you a good edge here. Still attracts lots of cute girls with loose morals but plenty of provincial girls (and guys) as well. Swooping is fairly easy here.

I haven’t been at this place in over a year, ever since it started becoming ground zero for drunken teenagers. Similar clientele to Icon but less chic, younger and drunker. Decent mainstream music that attracts plenty of tourists. Girls are easy here as well.

Sort of a Coyote Ugly (the real one in Moscow sucks) with party music and lots of drunken people licking each others’ faces. Very entertaining with the right amount of alcohol and very easy to pull in there. Don’t think about staying sober in here, you’ll hate it.

Artel Bessonitsa/Shakti Terrace

Electronic music club that is sort of a high-end place with an underground clientele and located between the teenager clubs Icon and Gipsy. Very good music but a bit all over the place with their vibe and their branding. You can swoop almost any type of girl here from high-heeled beauty to coked-up hipsters, provided they’re not too sober.

sunreef yachts supreme 68

Afterparty: if by 5AM  you haven’t pulled, it’s time to move here.

Best afterparty spot in terms of trying to get girls. Pretty much no one is sober in there and savage gorilla game goes a long way. Lots of very hot and slutty-looking girls but it can be hard to tell apart who is looking for dick and who is just on drugs but not interested. If by 9-10am you haven’t pulled, it is probably better to surrender.

The hipster alternative for afterparties, where even more drugs are in play. Plenty of attractive girls there but you have to know how to work this type of club. A nicer atmosphere and better music but if you’re desperate to pull, you’ll probably go to Miks.

Weekday jokers: if you’re on the hunt for some sexy Russian girls during the week, here are two tips to make your life easier.

Chesterfield

Ladies night on Wednesdays means this place gets pretty packed with smashed teenagers and 6s and 7s. Don’t pull out the three-piece suit in here because it’s a “simpler” crowd. Definitely your best shot on Wednesdays.

If you haven’t pulled at Chesterfield, you can throw a Hail Mary and hit up Garage’s Black Music Wednesdays. Fills up really late but there are some cute Black Music groupies in here. Very small club. Thursday through Saturday they do afterparties and you have an excellent shot and swooping girls that are probably high.

Shishas Sferum

This is pretty much your only shot on Mondays and Tuesdays because they offer free or almost free drinks for women. A fairly low-class club where you should watch your drinks. As always the case in Moscow, there will be cute girls here on any day of the week but it’s nowhere near as good as on the weekend.

sunreef yachts supreme 68

In a nutshell, that is all you need to know about where to meet Moscow girls in nightlife. There are tons of options, and it all depends on what best fits your style, based on the type of girls that you’re looking for.

MOSCOW (AP) — Russia’s highest court on Tuesday shut down one of the country’s oldest and most prominent human rights organizations, the latest move in a relentless crackdown on rights activists, independent media and opposition supporters.

The Supreme Court’s ruling to close Memorial, an international human rights group that drew international acclaim for its studies of political repression in the Soviet Union, sparked international outrage.

Memorial is made up of more than 50 smaller groups in Russia and abroad. It was declared a “foreign agent” in 2016 — a label that implies additional government scrutiny and carries strong pejorative connotations that can discredit the targeted organization. Prosecutors said the group repeatedly failed to identify itself as a foreign agent and tried to conceal the designation, the accusations rejected by Memorial.

During the hearing, prosecutors also charged that Memorial “creates a false image of the USSR as a terrorist state,” a claim the group said revealed the authorities’ real motive.

“The Supreme Court’s ruling confirmed once again that the history of political terror organized and directed by the government isn’t an academic issue that is interesting only for experts, but an acute problem of today,” Memorial said in a statement. “Memorial embodies the Russian citizens’ need to know the truth about the country’s tragic path and the fate of millions. No one would be able to ‘liquidate’ that need.”

The group said it would appeal the verdict and pledged to continue its work.

“Of course, nothing is over with this,” Maria Eismont, one of the lawyers that represented the group in court, said after the ruling. “We will appeal, and Memorial will live on with the people — because it’s the people behind it serving this great cause first and foremost. The work will continue.”

A crowd that gathered in front of the courthouse on Tuesday erupted into chants of “Disgrace!” in response to the ruling. Police detained several people who picketed the courthouse.

The Council of Europe’s Secretary General, Marija Pejčinović Burić, described the move as “devastating news” and “a dark day for civil society in the Russian Federation.”

Amnesty International called Memorial’s closure “a blatant attack on civil society that seeks to blur the national memory of state repression” and “a grave insult to victims of the Russian Gulag.”

U.S. Ambassador John Sullivan deplored the court’s verdict as “a blatant and tragic attempt to suppress freedom of expression and erase history.”

French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian expressed “indignation and concern” at the shutdown of the NGO Memorial International, calling it “a terrible loss for the Russian people.”

“This announcement is deeply worrying about the future of historical research and the defense of human rights in Russia,” he said in a statement.

Memorial’s sister organization, the Memorial Human Rights Center, is up for closure as well, with a court hearing Wednesday morning in Moscow City Court.

Russian authorities in recent months have ratcheted up pressure on rights groups, media outlets and individual journalists, naming dozens as foreign agents. Some were outlawed as “undesirable” and several were forced to shut down or disband themselves to prevent further prosecution.

On Saturday, authorities blocked the website of OVD-Info — a prominent legal aid group that focuses on political arrests — and urged social media platforms to take down its accounts after a court ruled that the website contained materials that “justify actions of extremist and terrorist groups.” The group rejected the charges as politically driven.

OVD-Info condemned the ruling to shut down Memorial.

“Memorial is an institution of national memory about the times of the Great Terror and Soviet repressions,” the group said in a statement, adding that its closure amounted to an attempt to justify Soviet dictator Josef Stalin’s repressions.” “It is a clear signal both to society and to the elites: ‘Yes, repressions were necessary and useful to the Soviet state in the past, and we need them today as well.’”

On Tuesday, five associates of imprisoned opposition leader Alexei Navalny were taken into custody. Earlier this year, a Moscow court outlawed Navalny’s organizations — the Foundation for Fighting Corruption and his country-wide network of regional offices — as extremist, exposing their staff members and supporters to prosecution.

One of the five detained activists, Ksenia Fadeyeva, is reportedly facing charges of forming an extremist group. Fadeyeva used to run Navalny’s regional office in the Siberian city of Tomsk, and in last year’s election won a seat in the city legislature.

Another Navalny associate, Lilia Chanysheva, was arrested and jailed in November on similar charges. She used to head Navalny’s office in the Russian region of Bashkortostan and is facing up to 10 years in prison, if convicted.

Navalny himself is serving 2½ years in prison for violating the terms of his probation from a 2014 embezzlement conviction that is widely seen as politically motivated. The politician was arrested in January upon returning from Germany, where he spent five months recovering from a nerve agent poisoning that he said was carried out by the FSB security agency on Kremlin orders — accusations that Russian officials reject.

On Tuesday, Navalny attended a court hearing on his appeal against prison authorities’ decision to put him under special surveillance as a person inclined to “extremist and terrorist” activities.

“Why should I sleep under the sign where it is written that I’m a terrorist?” he told the judge by videoconference from prison. “I didn’t explode anybody, I didn’t take hostages, I didn’t do anything like that and don’t plan to. It’s me who was a victim of a terrorist attack when FSB officers tried to kill me.”

Most of Navalny’s top associates have faced prosecution this year on various criminal charges and have left Russia.

Also on Tuesday, another prominent human rights organization — the Civic Assistance Committee that helps refugees and migrants in Russia — said the authorities were evicting it from an office in Moscow it had been allowed to occupy free of charge for years.

Moscow city officials handed the group a document voiding the agreement allowing the use of the space without compensation and ordered it to leave within a month.

“I link it to the overall trend of destroying civil society in Russia,” Civic Assistance Committee head Svetlana Gannushkina told Mediazona.

Vladimir Isachenkov in Moscow and Sylvie Corbet in Paris contributed to this report.
