Previously named GIVI, she was built and delivered in 2006 by CRN yachts and refit for improvements in 2008.

CONSTANCE is a one-of-a-kind ‘family-friendly’ superyacht that is renowned for its outstanding cruising performance and range.

She is the 14th largest yacht ever built by the Italian shipyard and she is in the top 5% by LOA (Length overall) in the world.

The CONSTANCE yacht interior design was penned by Zuccon International Project with muted and warm colors found all throughout the interior of the vessel.

CONSTANCE has the capacity to comfortably accommodates up to 12 guests across six comfortable suites as well as 20 crew to cater to guests’ needs.

CONSTANCE Yacht Exterior

The CONSTANCE yacht features exterior design by Zuccon International Project and naval architecture by CRN. 

The superyacht has a steel hull and aluminum superstructure with an inviting white exterior that perfectly matches the yacht’s teak decks.

Just as is the case with any CRN yacht, CONSTANCE is acknowledged for her innovative engineering performance.  

CONSTANCE Yacht Specifications

The CONSTANCE yacht measures 60 meters in length and has a beam of 11.2m. Her draft is an impressive 3.2 meters and her volume is 1,259 GT.

She is powered by twin Caterpillar diesel engines (2,228HP) allowing her to cruise at speeds of 15 knots while reaching a max speed of 16.5 knots.

CONSTANCE has a range of 6,000 nautical miles and is capable of carrying 180,000 liters of fuel and can store up to 35,000 liters of water. 

This trip won her the Voyager’s Award for the amazing itinerary at the World Superyacht Awards in 2018.

During this trip, her first destination was Cuba, where she was moored for a month before heading to Panama, Coco Islands, and Galapagos. 

After this, she moved on to French Polynesia, Cook Island and Tonga, and Fiji. 

Although the yacht has not been listed for sale for quite some time, her approximate value is $50 million while an annual running cost of between 2 – 5 million.

Feadship yacht Constance completes Pendennis refit

The 46.33 metre Feadship yacht Constance has completed her refit at Pendennis after an 18-month overhaul.

The owners praised the hard work of the Falmouth-based yard, describing them as “supportive and professional throughout”.

This  classic Feadship yacht  was launched in 1986 as Paminusch and arrived for her refit in March 2015 under the name Jana . At the time, her 30-year-old systems and engine-room equipment were deemed uninsurable by a surveyor’s report.

Pendennis was given a broad remit that included refreshing the interiors and improving structural integrity to comply with offshore cruising regulations. Master Yachts provided yacht management services for the refit project.

The team set about replacing all the bridge and engine room equipment; improving insulation and refitting tankage where necessary. Existing woodwork was removed, restored and meticulously reinstated by the Pendennis joinery team.

The yard was also tasked with bringing Constance up to the MCA Large Yacht code standard for unrestricted service, which required the addition of further watertight compartment subdivisions.

Crew areas were completely rebuilt, including a new galley and laundry featuring bespoke furniture. Exterior changes included a full repaint, new teak decking and two new deck cranes.

Following the refit, Constance can accommodate 12 guests across five cabins, while the crew quarters allow for a staff of up to ten.

Speaking at a relaunch party earlier this year, the owners of Constance said: “As our first motor yacht, when we took over the boat and understood the implications of the survey results, the refit initially seemed a very daunting project to undertake.

“However, the team at Pendennis has worked incredibly hard to restore Constance . We are delighted with the result and now we are very much looking forward to enjoying time onboard.”

Other projects currently underway at Pendennis include the classic J-Class sailing yacht Velsheda and the 25.88 metre Claasen yacht Velecarina .

Feadship Charter Yacht CONSTANCE Completes Major Refit

Following 18 months in the Pendennis shipyard, the 46m/152ft motor yacht CONSTANCE has completed an impressive and extensive refit.

Originally delivered from Feadship in 1986, motor yacht CONSTANCE has enjoyed almost constant renewal over the years, with her various key features receiving plentiful upgrades.

In order to meet a series of important regulations, she entered Pendennis’ facility in Falmouth, England last year for both aesthetic and structural refreshment.

Replacing the entire engine room, and upgrading both the equipment and insulation up on the bridge, the team at Pendennis have clearly remained attentive to every last mechanical detail.

What is perhaps more noticeable, however, is the expert restoration carried out on the impressive woodwork which runs throughout CONSTANCE, a task which was performed to meet the evolving taste of her owner. 

Her exterior has also enjoyed considerable attention, with a fresh lick of paint ensuring that her profile remains as distinctive as ever.

A truly outstanding undertaking, the interior refit to CONSTANCE required the joinery team at Pendennis to remove all of the existing panelling before restoring and eventually re-installing it.

Images of the main salon suggest that such work has retained the timeless pedigree of the superyacht, making her just as desirable as when she was first delivered.

Elsewhere inside, the crew quarters and galley have been entirely overhauled to meet the current standard.

Clearly leaving quite the impression, the owner of CONSTANCE was reported as being ‘delighted with the result’ and keen to spend time enjoying the various upgrades.

Complete with fresh teak decking, the outdoor spaces of CONSTANCE haven't undergone any significant changes.

Indeed, with a Jacuzzi already in place, as well as a vast amount of lounging and dining spaces, there was no need to perform any additional work.

This being said, thanks to upgrades in the engine room, guests will be able to enjoy the sundeck like never before.

Ultimately, the refit means that charterers are effectively experiencing a brand new superyacht when away on a luxury charter vacation with CONSTANCE, an opportunity which isn’t to be missed.
