Summer 2024 Season

The Dartmouth Yacht club will open on a full-time basis beginning Saturday, June 10, 2023 and will operate through Sunday, August 13, 2023. The Dartmouth Yacht Club will be closing 3 weeks early to allow for upgrades to the club .  The hours of operation will be from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

All boats (including privately owned) must be off the water one-hour prior to sunset. For your protection, the facilities are to be used only during posted dates and hours of operation.

Facilities & Equipment

Our summer sailing fleet consists of: 3 - Rhodes 19', 12 - Lasers and 6 - FJ's. These boats are available to the members who are "Skipper Qualified" without a fee.

A beautiful secluded beach, gradual drop-off swim space, BBQ grills, picnic area, instructional programs, and changing/restroom facilities round out the amenities. A friendly, casual atmosphere is enhanced by the breathtaking sunsets over the Lake. We request that you make your summer plans early and return the attached application as soon as possible.

Information about  2023 Laser Racing

Sailboat Moorings and On Site Boat Storage

Moorings and dryland storage for personally owned sail boats will again be available this year. You must provide a signed storage agreement prior to bringing any equipment to the facility. Owners may lease a mooring from the club for $80 per season, with spring and fall maintenance included. Requests for lease moorings should be received no later than May 1st. All boats must display NH registration prior to launching. Personally owned boats must be removed from the facility no later than noon on Saturday, August 12, 2023.

The Hunter 707 is an exciting and fun sportsboat. Upwind speeds of typically 5½ knots and regular downwind speeds exceeding 12 to 14 knots are sometimes surpassed by memorable sleigh rides clocking 16 knots plus.

I have been dealing with Lewis at Ancasta Dartmouth on purchasing a used boat. • PAZIENZA was designed by Jack Laurent Giles and built at the Cantiere Navale V Beltrami in Genoa in 1956 for one of the shareholders of the company - Giacomo Bruzzo. In his design philosophy, Laurent Giles considered that a yacht should have ‘the utmost docility and sureness of manoeuvring at sea, in good or bad weather.’ Thus his boats were designed to maintain a steady course with minimal action by the helmsman, yet to respond instantly to the helm if the need arose. • “Warlock” is a very special one-off built boat which I personally project managed through build at the sunseeker shipyard back in 2009. She is a extremely well presented example with some additional extras that no other 52 Predator has. She has currently undergone a professional respray and is now on her home berth in Dartmouth.   Ready to use after new anodes, antifouling and polishing. All three past owners have had years of experience and have all added additional updated equipment, in addition to most of the factory optional extras.   She has cruised around the Med in the past, however has spent most of her life in the UK and the Black exterior is all in fantastic condition together with the interior satin cherry wood. Full med spec package including a water maker etc. 6 Berths in three cabins comprising of a VIP guest fwd and twin bunks to Port. The master cabin is full beam and has a generously sized shower and WC.  The galley is situated on the lower deck and is equipped for six persons comfortably. There is also a great deal of natural light within this area due to the forward windscreen above. The helm is situated on the upper deck on the starboard side and has been very well ergonomically designed and has a opening window and Hard top which full retracts and opens most of the saloon to the elements as and when required.  The saloon has a u-shaped seating arrangement around a beautiful Satin Cherry table which theme is carried throughout the whole boat interior finish... The cockpit has a beach seat which is situated over and above the crew cabin which on this particular vessel has been utilised for storage. The bathing platform has the ability to be used as a launch and recovery system for the tender.
