DYS on Fort Meyers beach is huge. They are also a Yanmar dealer which is a rare designation. Yanmar restricts who can sell their parts, who can buy their parts, and who can work on their engines. After one of my Yanmar engines failed me, DYS was able to order the part that I needed with a quick turnaround. I had to personally troubleshoot the issue initially and then install the party myself since Yanmar mechanics are as rare as Yanmar parts. DYS is also shipping me a backup copy. Good people. However, Yanmar needs to loosen up their restrictions a bit

When picking up my boat after a regular maintenance service on the engines and outdrive, one engine would not start because of a loose connection at the starter. After about 1 1/2 hours they found it. The boat was filthy, covered in a thick crust of dust, even the upper vertical hull, and the carpets were oil soiled. After returning home, I also found that the cover for the batteries had been insufficiently re-installed and could have been thrown into the revolving engine belts by the motion of the boat during my return trip in heavy seas. I was lucky this did not happen. It took me two days to clean up everything. Then later I discovered that the bottom of the boat had heavy black marks and that the vertical sides of the trim tabs had been damaged, as a result of their lift truck operations. Three other service requests were never addressed. I ask for a clean up of the bottom at my place but I was told to bring the boat back to them. I told them that on a return trip I would burn $150 of gas, would have to arrange for transportation to get home as well as to get back there to pick up the boat, and spend almost 2 days doing that. I offered to have it done here by a detail man who had agreed to do it, as long as they pay for it, maybe $150 to $200. No response anymore. I would never ever have them work on another boat of mine. I had originally intended to bring my 24' Stingray bowrider there as well for regular maintenance service. In my 60 years of boating no marina has ever treated me like this. I will expand on my review tomorrow but my parts took months, my repair took more months than that, my estimate was $4k off the original total, they were unable to document where the hours were spent and explained the tech was "lost" in the boat. I was promised boat completion on multiple occasions which never occurred and when I spent $250 to fill my previously half full plus boat up at the end, the dock master shared my boat was "in the water all the time" and no one "knew what was going on". 0/10. Would not recommend.

Called Diversifed to bottom of boat painted . Quote came in at $2800.00 and 30 days out. Mentioned family is coming in in about 60 days. 30 days became 60 days . No family boating! after the boat was hauled out of the water they forgot to mention that the boat needed to be sanded that was $1000 extra in each of the running gear $650 each not mentioned. Long story short. Power cord was ripped up. Lift control cord was torn apart . Ding lift messed up.Name on the back of the boat half off. Billed over double what quoted. Asked if they would at least repair power cord. Their answer was they didn't want the liability. They offered me $100.00 to have a electrician fix it. My marina charges $50.00 to let a repairman step on the dock . Have not seen my $100.00 for $750.00 cost of replacing it! Or any offer to cove other damages. Signed Beware!

I took my boat in 3 different times to fix a beeping from the motor. They said on the last visit it was due to a low battery. They overcharged me for the battery and to replace it. I got the boat back and engine still beeped. Took it to another mechanic found the real problem and fixed it. Tried to get settlement with DYS but unsuccessful. Be careful.!!!!!!

Lost the port engine on our boat on Christmas Day. Sent DYS an email at midnight asking for help since we had a household full of guests that wanted to boat. On Monday they were closed but they still reached out and helped schedule service for Tuesday morning! Tuesday morning "Sid" from DYS showed up and got us up and running by 11am! Another great experience with DYS!

We have no idea about the poor reviews DYS received, because based on our experience this bunch deserves 5 stars all the way. At 7 pm--long after regular business hours--we had an emergency on our boat, forcing us to move into a hotel. We left a message on the DYS company voicemail, hoping for a call the next morning. Instead, Eileen called us back almost immediately. Scott called back the next morning at 8 and helped diagnose the issue. Chris delivered and installed the necessary part by 10. Not only did they resolve our issue, the charge was very reasonable. We are passing through Fort Myers Beach on the Great Loop and likely won't be back, but DYS was probably the best experience we have had with a marine service company.

Bought a used boat IPS600s' and a poor service record, Jodi got every current for me,boat runs great,work was done quickly. I'm a former mechanic so I'm pretty particular about work done, they did a Great Job,I will be back for all my needs.
