The Sun 1030 is a 33.83ft masthead sloop designed by Hein Driehuyzen and built in fiberglass since 1979. 5 units have been built. The Sun 1030 is a moderate weight sailboat which is a good performer. It is very stable / stiff and has a low righting capability if capsized. It is best suited as a coastal cruiser.
