Die größten Super-Yachten der Welt sind ein Statussymbol

Sie sind ein Statussymbol der Schönen und Reichen und kosten oft mehrere hundert Millionen Dollar. Für die größten Yachten der Welt haben Fachjournalisten das Attribut Giga-Yacht reserviert, denn sie sind über hundert Meter lang. Oft passen sie in keinen Hafen und müssen davor ankern. Die Ausmaße der schwimmenden Luxusobjekte erinnern meist an Kreuzfahrtschiffe. Wenn sie verkauft werden, dann oft von einem Milliardär zum nächsten.

Die Jahrhundert-Yacht „Lady Moura“

Eine der wohl berühmtesten Mega-Yachten der Welt wurde 1990 von der deutschen Werft Blohm + Voss fertiggestellt. Beim Bau galt sie als neuntgrößte Privatyacht der Welt. Jetzt soll sie auf Platz 48 der Liste stehen. Der Bau von „Lady Moura“ soll bei Fertigstellung Ende der 1980er Jahre rund 250 Millionen US-Dollar (213 Millionen Euro) gekostet haben. Angetrieben wird die Superyacht von zwei DEUTZ 6868 HP Motoren. Jeder hat 5.121 kW Leistung und Verstellpropeller. Die „Lady Moura“ kommt trotz ihrer Größe auf eine Reisegeschwindigkeit von 17 Knoten. Beim Stapellauf eine Weltsensation: Ein ausgeklügeltes Hydraulik-System öffnet und schließt eine Vielzahl von Türen, Klappen, ausfahrbaren Dächern oder Wänden und Kränen. Ob Beiboote und Rettungsboote oder der Anker – sie sind hinter Blenden versteckt. So soll die Ästhetik der Yacht nicht beeinträchtigt werden. „Lady Moura“ gilt bei vielen Kennern als der Inbegriff einer Giga-Yacht. Seit dem Stapellauf war ihr Besitzer der saudi-arabische Milliardär Nasser al-Raschid und das immerhin 31 Jahre lang. Das einst 250 Millionen Dollar teure Luxusobjekt hat nun für 125 Millionen Euro den Besitzer gewechselt

125 Millionen Dollar einen neuen Besitzer bekommen haben. Einige Quellen nennen den mexikanischen Multi-Milliardär Alberto Bailleres. Der 89-jährige Vater von sieben Kindern macht sein Geld mit den größten und ergiebigsten Silber-Minen der Welt. Laut Forbes wird sein Vermögen auf 9,3 Mrd. Euro geschätzt. Seine Minen sollen pro Jahr 25 Tonnen Gold und 25 000 Tonnen Silber fördern. Den Verkaufspreis für die „Lady Moura“ aufzubringen dürfte dem Milliardär nicht schwer gefallen sein. OnLocation weiß aber aus sicherer Quelle, dass dieser Milliardär die Giga-Yacht „Lady Moura“ nicht gekauft hat.

Das „Mou“ im Namen der Giga-Yacht steht für Mouna Ayoub

Der neue Besitzer der „Lady Moura“ ist der ebenfalls aus Mexiko stammende Milliardär Ricardo Benjamín Salinas Pliego, der mit seiner Unternehmensgruppe Grupo Salinas Beteiligungen in den Bereichen Telekommunikation, Medien, Finanzdienstleistung und Einzelhandel hält. Der drittreichste Mann Mexikos sorgte gerade für Schlagzeilen, weil er seine Unterstützung für Bitcoin nochmals bekräftigt und bekanntgegeben hat, die erste Bank im Land eröffnen zu wollen, die Bitcoin akzeptiert.

Der Verkauf der „Lady Moura“ stellt in der Welt der Makler einen Rekord auf. Die Broker Camper & Nicholsons konnten in nur 554 Tagen einen neuen Besitzer finden. Das ist der schnellste bekannte Maklerverkauf eines Schiffes über 100 Meter in den letzten 10 Jahren. Was den Neubesitzer dazu bewogen hat, die 125 Millionen Dollar für die „Lady Moura“ auf den Tisch zu legen, dürfte die üppige und luxuriöse Ausstattung, das Design und ein goldener Schriftzug sein.

Der Name der Giga-Yacht „Lady Moura“

Der Name „Lady Moura“ hat eine besondere Bedeutung. Das „Mou“ steht für Mouna Ayoub, eine der schillerndsten Figuren des Jetsets und inzwischen Ex-Frau des Milliardärs, und das „ra“ steht für den Nachnamen des Erstbesitzers der Yacht, Milliardär Nasser al-Raschid. Mouna Ayoub ist eine der schillerndsten Frauen des Orients. Man erzählt sich, sie habe 150 Millionen Dollar für Schmuck ausgegeben. Ihr Jahresbudget für Kleidung soll angeblich bei drei Millionen Dollar liegen. Und ihr Vermögen dürfte mehrere hundert Millionen Dollar betragen. Die Frau, die aussieht wie 40, ist in Wirklichkeit über 60 Jahre alt.

Die möglicherweise reichste Frau des Orients wächst als Kind libanesischer Eltern in Kuwait auf, besucht ein Jesuiten-Internat und wird durch den Bürgerkrieg nach Frankreich verschlagen. Ausstattung und Design der „Lady Moura“

Die „Lady Moura“ wird oft als die erste Megayacht der Welt bezeichnet. Das ikonische Schiff, das die Fachwelt als Giga-Yacht definiert, hat sieben Decks, eines davon ist dem Familienleben gewidmet. Neben der luxuriösen Eignersuite gibt es 13 Kabinen, die ausschließlich von Familienmitgliedern und Gästen genutzt werden. Allein dieser Bereich umfasst 2600 Quadratmeter. Der italienische Designer und Architekt Luigi Sturchio hat das gesamte Interieur auf der Super-Yacht gestaltet. Die Megayacht hat insgesamt Übernachtungskapazitäten für 72 Crewmitglieder und 26 Gäste.

Hinzu kommen Luken im Rumpf für Motorboote oder Jet-Skis. Auf dem eigenen Hubschrauber-Landeplatz sollen sogar Ex-Spanien-König Juan Carlos und der frühere Präsident George Bush gelandet sein. Die wirklich besonderen Highlights dieser Mega-Yacht sind jedoch der mit 24 Metern ungewöhnlich lange Esstisch und der Schriftzug „Lady Moura“ am Rumpf: Jeder Buchstabe ist mit 24-Karat-Gold überzogen und soll stolze 12.000 Euro kosten.

By day the main deck pool is the perfect place to cool off and refresh, by night the floor transforms to a dancefloor while the bespoke music system takes care of the soundtrack.

A 15 million Euro refit took place during the winter of 2022/23 which involved a full paint job, IT and security system upgrades, new carpets, interior updates and a refit to the tenders in addition to maintenance works, tank coating replacement and a navigation system upgrade.
